2	The only line I use, and it's magic. Most people look away very quickly, especially guys, treat that as the norm. Most people are not confident enough in themselves to make eye contact with strangers. Don't even think about the times when people look away quickly. Focus on the times they do hold eye contact, and as you get more comfortable doing it try tossing them a little smile. I ask this because if they also are off-put by you, then it probably ISN'T your looks. I'm by no means a great looking guy, and I went through a lot of the same struggles as you (even up to the girls telling me I wasn't good looking).
