I just don’t know how to tell you that of all the people I went to college with, an engineering college no less, I can count probably hundreds of average nice girls that I know that dated awkward but golden hearted nerdy boys. It was extremely common. There were certainly girls that only dated the shitty frat boys, but they were not the average by any means. I have guy friends that are so, so empathetic because they were raised by parents that let them cry and get their emotions out instead of numbing it out.
