and to stop being awkward is to just not care about the outcome? That's what I need to work on. I have the mentality, I don't have the "lifestyle"(for lack of better word) to not care. Which is why I'm looking for things to keep me busy (in retrospect, I shouldve phrased it differently) to be more content with my life

This isn't the answer you want to hear but women, even those who end up with Wendy syndrome, are rarely interested in these men. Insecurities are normal, it's not realistic to say overcome them and you may even live with them for the rest of your life. Ask yourself these questions: how is my social life? Do I have hobbies to pass time? Am I working on my personal growth? Fixing your life in these aspects could help you become more confident in yourself and less focused on the insecurities.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
