It's not baseless, it's logical. Kids are more likely to grow up to be things they're surrounded by. Plenty of studies showing that kids who grow up in smoker households are often smokers as adults. Kids are impressionable, who they idolize is often who they try to be. No, my original comment was referring to a specific case I saw. 2 lesbian mothers saw their son watch Frozen a bunch of times and thought that was a sign of him displaying feminine behavior. Sure they know what dressing up is but if they're going to drag shows and surrounding themselves with trans influences, they'll be more likely to become trans. I wouldn't say it's a gateway to becoming trans as an adult but it occasionally is for young impressionable children. Already looked into it twice today, there are no stats on the subject. No official studies or books out about transgender children (thank god it hasn't gotten that big yet). I am getting that information from personal experience and what I've seen in articles abroad.
