In all the discord groups I've been in, there's a specific section for gay/bi/trans stuff. Discussions about gay/bi/trans stuff is mostly confined to that channel, whereas specifically straight stuff is everywhere else. And in the real-life MRA groups, gay/bi etc stuff is often not really welcome. They want to talk about and deal with men's issues, but aren't interested in problems specific to certain groups of men. In glbt groups, men's rights stuff is usually frowned upon at best.

I dunno about arses or where that idea came from, but after having used men's toilets for 33 years I can confirm that there are indeed men who don't wash their hands after urinating. I've also seen men come atraight out of a cubicle after pooing and not bother washing their hands. I expect there are women who do the same, but I can't confirm.

Female autism is underdiagnosed, and a huge contributing factor is that the criteria for diagnosis is based on little boys who are very obviously autistic. Because of this, many men and boys also go undiagnosed. But perhaps the fact women and girls 'go undiagnosed more often' suggests that perhaps women and girls are less hindered by it than men and boys.

Then I don't see why people should favour the term 'feminist' over 'egalitarian' is what they actually mean is 'egalitarian'. Feminism seems to have a strangle hold on women's lib: it's like insisting you call yourself a Christian or a Muslim because you think giving to charity is a good thing.

Feminism might be a range of ideologies, but it can all be boiled down to one idea: history can be summarised as men having power over women, using that power to oppress women, and keep it through oppressing women. All of the different kinds of feminism are outgrowths of this idea. A person doesn't have to be an extremist to subscribe to this worldview, but this worldview is the basis for extremism. I think a lot of women who call themselves 'feminists' might be better aligned with 'Women's Lib'…

Feminism is way older than that, dating back at least as far as Mary Woolstone-Craft, but likely further. Read the Declaration of Sentiments from the 1830s if you want to see that feminism has always been anti-male.

Oh, they bashed men. Feminism has always been toxic and anti-male. Everybody knows the Suffragette slogan 'Votes for women', but everybody's forgotten the whole phrase was 'Votes for women, chastity for men'. They wanted women to have complete control over men's sexuality because men were supposedly a danger to women.

I disagree completely about Titanic. It's not a 'romance', it's a historical disaster film involving romance. Depicting what happened isn't glorifying or promoting it, it's just depicting it. And regarding Jack: he had to die so that the audience could experience a tiny bit of what the survivors of Titanic felt.
