It’s not about who participates, the people you’re referring to have nothing to do with RP beliefs. Your essentially judging them and condoning their lifestyle. Which is fine if you have constructive ideas to support them, outside of taking away welfare. But that wouldn’t relate to this RP space either.

This isn’t just a black problem it’s a low income problem. The trailer park is the white equivalent of the ghetto with the same problems. I’m not sure this group is the best place to have a meaningful discussion about this topic.

You say at one point there have been ‘sus’ things that happened in your relationship but also you’re super close and tell each other everything. Listen to your gut, if something feels off then it probably is. It sounds like you don’t completely trust him and you can’t grow a relationship without trust. I don’t know that you’re being gaslit but at some point if you don’t trust him you don’t have to give him the benefit of the doubt. You have to decide what you’re willing to live with.

Honestly it sounds like getting/ keeping their attention isn’t the problem, it’s the quality of these men. Are you just going by looks and/ or money? I don’t have any great resources to suggest but there is a lot of info out there about choosing the right people for the right reasons.

I’m also 40f, it is hard out there. All you’re saying about yourself is that you’re attractive. It takes more than that to get and keep the attention of a quality man. It helps to be very clear on what you want and won’t except in a man. Don’t go on dates just to go. You could consider someone in their mid to late thirties who has never been married but is secure and stable. Don’t just assume they’re afraid of commitment.

What about couples therapy? Even if he went to therapy they may not focus on the issues that concern you. Also as you mentioned you have room to improve too. Offering to do it together might make more sense.

That’s great that’s your reality. But you have to consider that won’t apply to everyone. For example OP seems to be struggling with a lot of issues and the apps may provide her opportunities to get out and date a variety of men. I find it hard to believe there are no HVM on any app ever. That’s a statement that can’t be proven.
/r/RedPillWomen16/02/24 02:50 PM

Have you ever used dating apps? For a lot of people they work well and they find someone to marry or spend their life with. It’s a way to meet people you wouldn’t otherwise meet. At this point I think most of us know a few married couples that met on the apps. I’m obviously not suggesting hook up apps like tinder. But when used properly the time wasters can be weeded out.

Where are you getting this perspective from? I know that’s not the case for my bf or really any man I can think of. Especially when going out in public.

Your feelings are definitely valid. You’re going to have to decide if you can live like this or not. If not you have to prepared to stand your ground. You need a plan in case the relationship does end. Then have a serious conversation where you make it clear how important he is to you but you’re feeling the imbalance in your sex life. Make it clear that things will be changing on your end, like no more bjs or whatever you want to communicate. Let him know you will no long be living like this.

As an average straight woman I would say no, your experience is not how a lot of people feel. Which is totally okay. You should do some research on your own and even talk to a therapist to help you make sense of how you feel. There are other people like you and understanding that may help you feel better.
/r/RedPillWomen15/02/24 01:13 PM

Just because he doesn’t want to end things doesn’t mean they shouldn’t come to an end. You are half of this relationship too. Dating is for vetting potential long term partners/ husbands. You’re at point where you don’t trust him, and rightfully so. He’s also deteriorated your self esteem. Do you want to live like this forever? When men behave like he did there are consequences for their actions, like losing a good woman.

It’s great that works for you. My issue is OP making a post suggesting people try her idea as if she’s some relationship expert. Her tone and lack of humility are off putting.

There’s a lot of space between what your suggesting people try and repressing one’s feelings.

This sounds incredibly unhealthy. If I brought this metaphorical score card to my bf he would think I’ve lost my mind. Years ago I dated a man who said, in this relationship we’re not keeping score. That really stuck with me because people do ‘keep score’ to some degree in all parts of their life. But keeping it to a minimum in romantic relationships seems much healthier. As others have said if things seem unbalanced for a while then it may be time to pay more attention but this is not good advi…

Why is it a terrible suggestion? They aren’t married or even living together. Why would anyone be obligated to stay in a dating relationship that isn’t working for them?
/r/RedPillWomen08/02/24 11:38 PM

Not having sex is one of the most valid reasons to end a relationship. You’re allowed to have needs and get those needs met. A lot of people wouldn’t have waited as long as you have.
/r/RedPillWomen07/02/24 11:11 AM
8

Haven’t you guys talked about why you’re not having sex? If not you need to asap. The porn may not be a big deal but the local girls feels a little too close to home, especially if he’s interacting with them. Then you’re in cheating territory. Also any reason is a valid reason to break up. You’re not obligated to continue on dating anyone. You’re vetting for a future husband and this guy isn’t acting like husband material.
/r/RedPillWomen07/02/24 03:05 AM
2

Only time will tell and only you can decide how long you’ll wait. You should listen to your instincts, if something feels off it probably is. If you don’t trust your partner that’s a very real problem. It sounds like your actual concerns are bigger than social media.
/r/RedPillWomen05/02/24 01:40 AM

‘Upsets over social media and boundaries’ That changes things. If he is acting in a way that makes you uncomfortable or you feel he’s hiding or down playing your relationship because of female friends that’s valid. Everyone uses social media differently we all know someone who posts multiple times a day and others who post once a year. Your bf should want to make you happy and respect your boundaries. If being FB official is important to you he should make that happen. Especially if he posts reg…

What you need to do is take the hint. Leave him alone and focus on yourself and how to better your situation. From your previous post it sounds like he lives with family. So you don’t need to worry about him, he’s fine. You need to seek help for your own issues. It sounds like you’re using him as an escape or distraction.
/r/RedPillWomen04/02/24 09:09 PM

If he has a ring why does he just propose? 25 is not that young. But two adults planning on marrying should be able to support themselves and live on their own.
/r/RedPillWomen04/02/24 03:10 PM

Something sounds off here. Maybe a catfishing situation? Have you actually video chatted with him? Remember that if he wanted to he would. This man can’t be bothered to meet you then stop wasting your time talking to him.
/r/RedPillWomen03/02/24 07:20 PM

This doesn’t make sense. What do you not know? If you want a man like him you’re going to have to grow up and change your ways.

Where’s the compromise? My bf knows I love sleeping with nature sounds tho he wouldn’t chose them on his own. He turns them on for me every night. If he gets up in the middle of the night he knows I don’t like pitch dark either so he leaves a little light on. Your husband needs to step up and take you into consideration too. Being RPW doesn’t mean you don’t get a voice or that your needs just get ignored.
/r/RedPillWomen30/01/24 08:51 PM

How did you meet? It’s pretty common with online dating to just do drinks first. Usually it’s a safe way to get to know a little about each other with low commitment in case it’s weird. If things go well drinks can always transition into dinner. In theory you always take the risk of them wanting to split the bill on the first date and if they do then let it be the last date. If you don’t already know what they’re looking for you should ask sooner than later.
/r/RedPillWomen30/01/24 08:38 PM

Was he actually your boyfriend? You say you were sleeping with him but you were afraid to get with him. Wanting you to stop wearing revealing clothing if you’re a couple is not unreasonable, neither is asking you to stop talking to past partners. These are things that come with a relationship. It sounds like you just want attention from men. If you want him back grow up, be willing to change your ways, and tell him.
/r/RedPillWomen30/01/24 07:43 PM

I agree with you! An impulsive, unemployed man, who’s board lining on emotional abuse does not sound like a good husband or potential father. Better to get out now before kids are involved.

I think communicating expectations is super important. Last year was our first valentines and we went all out. This year I would rather save our money for something else.

What you do for skincare is your own personal journey and only you have to live with the consequences. Everyone ages and some more gracefully than others. There is definitely space between a 12 step routine and what you’re doing now. You could start with baby steps. I think by 60 and 70 you’ll regret not caring at all. Also curious what other ‘markers of beauty’ you’re referring to?

I would say do nothing. You’ve convinced yourself you two have potential. You’re trying to convince yourself he’s shy. He’s shown zero interest in you. Forget about him. You’re literally trying to make something out of nothing.

Were you rude about his hiking? It’s okay if it’s not your thing but you can still show interest in it. Hiking and camping is an interest my bf and I share. I’ve never felt like it took away from my femininity. It’s an excuse to have a whole separate wardrobe just for being outdoors. Tho my location may be part of it. Many hikes are glorified nature walks and don’t have to be very long. It may be worth trying before you totally turn your nose up to it. Maybe if you express interest because it’s …

I think if you were truly honest with yourself there were little moments and signs in all of these relationships that told you something was off. Especially the guy who knew you were still hung up on another man. The fact that he didn’t walk away was a red flag. Guy #2 wouldn’t commit to you but you stayed anyway. I don’t think there’s one great answer to your question. But learning to see situations for what they are, not what you want them to be is a good start. Also if you want to get married…

It’s not that simple. He’s not just missing 20%. He can’t even pull his 50% in the relationship. It’s not about you wanting material things or not. You deserve a man who doesn’t rely on you to provide for him. At this point it sounds like your willing to build a career and life for both of you. That may work for some but that’s not what RPW is about. You’ve vetted him, he can’t provide in anyway and doesn’t seem to care. He doesn’t meet your needs, which you’re allowed to have even if you’re an …

Use your words. If your doing dishes hand him a towel and have him help, if you’re making the bed ask him to grab a corner. Give him the opportunity to bond with you and then maybe he’ll back off. If you’re reading or whatever in your space tell him in or out. Like you can join me quietly or leave me in peace. Jokingly say if you come back I’m locking the door. It doesn’t have to be a serious, heavy thing to get your point across.

That’s simply not true. And stop sleeping with men before you’re in a relationship. You can’t use sex to force a man into a commitment.

You could talk to a doctor but don’t take these men at their word. And again do research for yourself.

This is ridiculous. You need to step back and figure out why you’re accepting this crude behavior from a man and believing him. You also need to do your own research and understand your own body better than this.

It seems like Guy A is a done deal. If you two enjoy your time over the holidays and agree to be a couple you could be married in less than two years. It sounds like he’s successful with room to grow, enjoys and respects you, and can give you the life you want. Guy B is new, so essentially a stranger, and he could also be dating other woman and you may not be the one he chooses. Only you know if that’s a gamble you’re willing to take.

This is a great example of how one persons reality is different from another’s. I know many successful career woman, most are seemingly happily married with kids. The one traditional stay at home mom I know ended up wanting a career as her kids got older and realized there’s more to life than kids and cleaning. What works for one person may or may not work for another.

Trying to force something never works. If neither of you can afford to regularly fly out to see each other what is the point of moving forward with this. It sounds very realistic that you may not be able to live near each other for five years. Being long distance there’s elements of a relationship you will miss out on and then find out you’re not actually compatible after investing a lot of time into each other. Also don’t fly out to see him first. If he can’t afford to fly to you and arrange a …

I feel like something is missing. I looked at your post history, could some of your unique interests be an issue? Also how many of these ‘beautiful, serious relationships’ have you had? Are you taking things too fast or more seriously than the men are?

If he has physical limitations and he’s still trying what else can you reasonably expect from him. If you bring this up to him again you should have actionable things you’re asking for that he can actually do. Edited to add: I also love being in nature and hiking and make it a priority. I could not be with a partner who didn’t have an interest in it too. If this is part of the lifestyle you want to live with a partner you have some hard choices to make.

True, but if he’s a standard 25 year old guy with no religious convictions of his own then I could see it having little to no value to him.

It hurts you that he didn’t choose to wait? He didn’t even know you or know that you guys would be a couple. It really doesn’t make sense for him to care that you’ve waited when that’s not a shared religious belief you both have. You are hurting your own feelings. You will have to let this go or let him go and find someone who also values virginity the way you do.

I would say it’s odd after year’s together your sexual history is an issue. There’s really no reason for him to still be concerned about it, what’s done is done. But considering your post history you’re leaving out something important. Your posts are completely disrespectful to your relationship unless it’s some shared kink between you and your partner. I don’t think RPW values can help you unless you’re revamping how you live your life.

I took a glance at your post history and it sounds like this is not your biggest concern. You’ve only been together a few months, you’re still in the vetting stage, you’re talking about something years in the future. This might not be popular advice but in the rare occasion by bf makes a stupid comment like that I reply with something like ‘you know where the door is’ or ‘good luck to you both’. I don’t think you sabotaged it because there was nothing happening. It sounds like you got ahead of yourself instead of taking the hint he’s not really interested in you. After a couple of dates a man should be showing some effort, like not leaving you on read for hours, just move on, it was good practice.
/r/RedPillWomen29/11/23 04:26 PM

I don’t know who you’re talking to but it doesn’t sound like an accurate representation of what’s really happening in the dating world. I’ve never had a man take the three date rule seriously. None of my single mom friends or their friends have young boy toys. Yes at some point it may be concerning to potential men if you’re sexually inexperienced. But what are you actually asking here, if you can date without having sex? Of course, will it significantly limit your options, yes.

Okay I’m nosey and looked too. It looks like you have curly hair, as do I, learn how to take better care of it. So many men over the years have complimented how nice my hair is and that it shows I take care of myself. You mention giving him space and letting him come back when he’s ready. That is the wrong mentality. Accept that he’s not into you and completely move on. Don’t expect him to come back when he’s ready, don’t keep in touch with him. That will only distract you from other men that may want to pursue something with you. Some men are really bad at ending things because they are afraid of hurting someone’s feelings. Or they are willing to use you for companionship until you finally walk away. Unfortu…

Honestly it’s a little weird he would tell you that and be sad about it, especially when you’re new to that department. It was super nice of you to want to be positive but there’s probably a bigger lesson for you to learn. We don’t know what really goes on behind closed doors. Maybe he has ruined things in the past, maybe she was nice about it but he didn’t make that clear. Some men just aren’t handy and cause more damage than good. As women it’s not our job to cheer up someone else’s husband.

I say ‘that makes sense’ a lot. Or ‘that must have been frustrating’ ‘that must have been nice’ ‘I’m sorry that happened, I’m here for you, I support you’ ‘how are you feeling about it now’. I try to show that I’m engaged in the conversation and he can share as much or as little as he wants.

To me this all seems like common sense. Men are people too. Of course they want to feel attractive, be lusted after, and desired by their partner. Women are expected to present their best selves to get the highest quality man possible but that quality man should also present his best self. Some food for thought, do you actually, truly love him. Do you even know him well enough to love him. Or do you just love the idea of love. Saying you can tell a stranger you love them kind of takes away from it all. Whatever you end up doing at least tell him in person. I’m in a similar situation but I’m leaning toward gemstones or moissanite. It’s really about whatever makes you happy. Maybe do a little research on how diamonds became the go to engagement ring and you may feel less inclined to buy into it.

You have to remember everyone is different and has different priorities. I’ve seen many different versions of what you’re envisioning. Some started with my friends working at first but being stay at home moms in big houses. I’ve seen stay at home girlfriends that contribute minimally and live a comfortable life on someone else’s dime. The next time it comes up you could tell him there are two options, continue on in a monogamous relationship and he can drop the issue or you two break up, with no hope of reconciliation. There’s no reason to continue to discuss this, it makes you uncomfortable, he either loves you enough to care about your feelings or he doesn’t.

He left the decision up to you because it’s too early for that level of commitment. If your relationship doesn’t last he doesn’t want you blaming him for a missed opportunity. Let this be a learning experience, you’re still in the sparkle/ new relationship energy phase. There’s no way to know if you’re a match made in heaven. What exactly is he impatient for?? You can ask him what he’s looking forward to in marriage. If neither of you are established is he willing to sit down and talk money and budgets? Look what types of homes or apartments you can afford together. Can you two comfortably discuss expectations of each other in marriage such as domestic duties, balancing friends and family. If he is willing and able to sit down and start hashing out the specifics then you will know he’s probably ready.

Don’t be afraid to use your words and have an open conversation about the stereotypes, be nice about it of course. Let him know how you feel, that you need more, and that you’re going to let him show you how much he cares/ is invested. Then stop doing everything you’ve been doing. See how long it takes him to pick up the phone, or make an effort to see you. It sounds like he could just be along for the ride, this will help you see what’s real.

The way I’ve always understood divine feminine had nothing to do with career preferences and more to do with spirituality. It’s just another thing taken out of context. It’s a trend/ phase that most people will forget about when the next trend pops up. Try to remember people putting down another group do it because they are unhappy in some way. ‘When he orders me to shut up or get a grip’ this line is the vibe that throws me off about your post. Most RPW are looking for a HVM, and HVM don’t tell their woman to shut up. It sounds like you’re coming from more of Dom/ sub dynamic which isn’t necessarily what a lot of RPW want. It’s honestly weird that your dad is so easily influenced by this kid and you’ve only been dating him for a few months. I have a friend who’s daughter is your age. My friend is naturally very traditional and married very young. Now she’s naive to the wor…

There are lots of reasons to cut out alcohol but if you’re only drinking champagne, occasionally, with dinner, you’re probably fine. A lot of people drink a lot and it wears down their body and bank account. Moderation is the key with most things in life.

Does he understand that Andrew Tate has a completely different set of religious views? Also until this young man can provide for you, afford to marry you, and be financially stable enough for you to be a stay at home wife/ mother you will have to work. In the work place there will be men you have to interact act with. He’s being completely unreasonable and possibly insecure. Also where are your parents? Do they know some boy their 16 year old daughter is dating is trying to control her like this…

So he hasn’t dated since he was a teenager? Of course his standards were low. If he were single today he would find out quickly he needs to vet for other things. He just doesn’t know better.

That fact that you’re asking if you should have tried harder is concerning. You tolerated abuse. Abuse from a man who couldn’t even be bothered to visit you. Did you ever meet him in person? This whole situation makes me so sad for you. A good man would never want to control you like that. You should really figure why you let this happen and how you can prevent it from happening again. No one should ever live like that.

I’m a huge supporter of anyone going back to their natural texture. There is a lot of great styling advice out there and there are always affordable drug store options when it comes to products. Sometimes being your authentic self can make you feel the most feminine.

You’re doing it again, you have an opportunity in a few weeks to test the waters, instead you’re thinking about waiting until next month. Are you sure you like him as much as you’re saying? I also agree with the commenter who said if he wanted you he would make it clear. It doesn’t sound like he’s done anything to keep in touch with you. This is a lot for a man who’s done nothing to keep you in his life.

I went to college for fashion and love clothes, but I also love a good deal as I live on a budget. In my forty years I’ve built up a collection but also throw out or donate old clothes I don’t wear. Also I work in a more casual setting so I can wear similar things to work and for hang outs or to run errands. I rarely buy something that only serves one purpose unless I have a specific need. I really never have a reason to wear formal attire. There really is no normal, it depends on lifestyle, bud…

What stood out to me in your story is that he wanted to continue your date but you declined. He offered to provide you with an Uber and you declined. I would wonder how he perceived that and if it has affected how treated you the next time you were in town. At this point the next time you are going to be in his area you could let him know but don’t expect much. I would leave his social media alone in the mean time.

You’re saying it was a one time thing but in your post you imply it has happened multiple times and he has only cut back, not quit all together. I’m not sure why my advice isn’t helpful? Or is just not what what you want to hear.

So you want to be married, spend the rest of your life, with a man who tries to make you feel insecure and tells you you will never compare to his ex?? That sounds like a miserable life. If you can’t get rid of the negative thoughts now imagine how much worse it will be in ten or twenty years. A true HVM would not be so disrespectful. Who cares if your families are involved, they will understand and should want the best for you.

Don’t make big purchases together since you’re not engaged. If you break up who gets the couch or tv or air fryer. It’s not worth the hassle but it’s also nice to save that for when you’re married.

Dating and relationships 10- 15 years ago were different from today. This generation doesn’t operate like we did. They barely want to move out on their own, so committed relationships aren’t a priority to a lot of them.

Spending an hour together once a week barely counts as a relationship. What are you holding on to? You’re not really explaining your situation. Is this limited time together going to last indefinitely? No one should be expected to deal with that. How do you guys spend your one hour together? Could you both make more time? Do you communicate regularly when your apart? You’ve been together for two years and there’s a lack of commitment? How long are you willing to wait? This situation doesn’t real…

At your age not a lot of men want to commit yet. If you’re concerned about your appearance take time to work on it. The internet and social media are full of people teaching you how to properly take care of your skin and apply make up, how to style your hair, how to dress, and how to get in shape. There is also way too much dating advice. Find sources that resonate with you and your goals. Everything you need to build the life of your dreams is available if you’re willing to put in the work.

You’re at an age where everyone’s lives start heading out in different directions. If you’re friends aren’t ready to settle down yet that’s okay, that’s their journey. Don’t try to change them or educate them, they will find their way eventually. Some may even seek you out later when they’re settling down with someone. Give them space and try to make new friends who are where you are in life.

Going to college doesn’t mean you have to be a career woman. But it will help you be a more worldly, well rounded woman who will have access to better quality men. Pick a degree you’re interested in so it’s fun, take advantage of travel abroad opportunities, join groups and organizations that will help you with networking and social skills.

Setting the bar at 100k/ year for high earning men is low. A truly high value woman would expect more. Successful men who have established themselves need women they can bring around business partners, clients, etc that can speak well and understand etiquette. Most uneducated women will struggle in these scenarios and potentially embarrass their partner. You’re made up statistics don’t hold up.

What happens if you find a partner who also doesn’t want sex but then you ‘heal’ and are open to sex? Even if it’s 20 years from now that’s not fair to the other person.

Why are you wasting your time with him. You claim to be very together, so you should have options. Part of being a RPW is not operating from a place of scarcity. Move on.

I’ve been in relationships with wealthy men and average guys. I would choose love with the average guy. I would rather be with someone who wants to make me happy and make sure I’m taken care of over a man who treats me like I’m lucky to have access to him and his money.
