I’m not wishing ill will. I’m wishing for others to be more compassionate, open minded, and aware of the random, complicated nature of physiology. Some are open to expanding their notions through conversation and eduction, others need to have first hand experience. Regardless of the learning style that works best for you, I hope you can become a more compassionate and understanding person.

Because having an opinion different from yours and participating in multiple subreddits is brigading?

There’s even a sub on here of women advocating for female circumcision, though I can’t remember the name; some women choose to get a clitoral hoodectomy in order to increase sensation. So whether circumcision is a helpful procedure for some is not a binary situation. However, it’s obviously unethical to perform on a child or non-consenting individual regardless of sex.

You can check this website and book of the same name: https://www.circumcisionisafraud.com Basically, circumcision is inarguably unethical, all of the previously purported benefits have been debunked, and the surgery causes unnecessary health risks and consequences.

just to point out: women in college have outnumbered men in all science majors except engineering and computer science since the early 90s (in the US). It seems majority women in everything is the goal. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/economy/making-sense/truth-women-stem-careers

When making claims of “the highest quality evidence” you should probably provide the source. What you said is also false: Male circumcision decreases penile sensitivity as measured in a large cohort https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23374102/ Adult circumcision outcomes study: effect on erectile function, penile sensitivity, sexual activity and satisfaction https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11956453/ Fine-touch pressure thresholds in the adult penis https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17378847/

She never claimed to be noteworthy and is simply offering an AMA for what is likely to be different perspective than the majority of the subscribers on this sub. You can also do an AMA if you’d like. Lighten up.

What data suggests this? Do you have anything other than an unrelated Imgur graph.

Pay differences depend on a lot of variables; however it’s largely untrue to say that there’s a significant gap between a man and woman in the same position at the same company, and of the same age, education, and experience. https://mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSN0334472920070803 https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/04/technology/google-gender-pay-gap.html

Plus, the women in science thing is largely based on bullshit according to data from the NSF: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/economy/making-sense/truth-women-stem-careers

They were both charged because they both live in the same flat. The man was released, albeit on bail, while the woman was detained in custody. This story does not really fit this sub.

How about a law banning non-consensual circumcision? I bet that will take longer than 2 days.
