Regardless, that's what OP is talking about. I think there's an interesting discussion to be had, but if the discussion is that red pill is separate from the red pill as an idea, I wonder why even bring it up. The purpose here is to CMV about the issues and ideas surrounding the red pill subreddit.

Even if that's true, I think that it's obvious that the subreddit and the culture around it is what OP is talking about.

Yeah, when I got to Stoicism I could tell this was a shitpost.

If it's in the redpill sidebar, it's probably safe to say that it's redpill. Redpill is not just an acceptance of reality, if that was true that's all it would say in the sidebar.

I disagree. Even OP thanked me for making his argument stronger. And this is a forum, discussion is literally what we’re here for. There is no “debate” to this. I asked for proof because it was a bold claim and it turns out it was easily sourced. The sub is better for it, and the dogma is reaffirmed. The last thing we need is this place being an echo chamber.

This is great stuff. But listen, I’m not in the wrong here for asking you to source your arguments. Leave your sass and ego at the door, your argument is better for it. Owning your shit also means backing up your argument.

Deduce? I’m just saying that you’re making a biological claim with no scientific proof. It makes sense to me, but it’s time to own your shit aka your argument with some proof. Otherwise you’re just hamstering your own thoughts.

Ok but you actually need to back up your claims if you're going to suggest that women are biologically hardwired to perceive men as more threatening than they really are.

Right, it all hinges on OI. I was thinking about it in a particular relationship and it seemed like the reasoning behind it was a covert contract, but I see the difference now.

That helps a lot. You’re right it rests on OI. I guess the difference is living your best life regardless. Covert contracts seems to hinge on doing things for one person, and STFU and OYS is strategy for all relationships. Does that make sense? Just trying to articulate the difference. Maybe it helps someone else too.

Maybe someone can help me out here, but I'm struggling with swallowing a concept. Yeah I know read more, I have - I'm just trying to internalize this. Isn't STFU and OYS a roundabout form of a covert contract? I know it's not at the core, but I keep coming back to this. If the desired result is better sexual strategy, isn't STFU and OYS ultimately about doing something covertly with the expectation that things will get better? Help a brother out here.

You started being the captain too late but I have great news, now you're the captain of your own life. You do know how to start getting better, it's all in the sentence before that. Think about what you want to do with the rest of your life and raise your son the best you can.

Do you have any proof to support that claim?

Why would you be with a woman like that?

I'm just thinking out loud here, but I don't see any reason why improving your self value and steering your own ship wouldn't be good in any relationship.

You didn't lose your job after matching on tinder, you resigned after you dated her and it didn't work out. Don't hamster.

Those insults are tolerated in part because they probably come from posters in the anger phase. Most of the time I see people being chirped if they use these terms too much. AWALT isn't about calling women derogatory names, it's about understanding the differences in gender and breaking that thought process that we can understand women better if they were more like us.

It's fun to just stop walking and stand there. Flips it on them because then they're the asshole if they run into you.

Well those two things are very tied together and if you can't see that you're just being difficult.

It does actually, women in higher positions is very related to gender pay gap because higher positions = more money = less pay gap. Also, more women in higher positions = equality = less pay gap.

Well for one the term was equalism, not equalist. For two, here's the wiki article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equalism As you can see it's pretty close to egalitarian, but if you can't appreciate the nuances in discussions about gender rights maybe this isn't the place for you.

Yeah... a link to a dictionary website doesn't really help.

I wasn't if that helps, but I do enjoy a good satirical post. This post was actually really funny because I was like Yeah, exactly and nodding my head.

Yup. The Mexican part isn't the biggest concern of mine. Edit: It was the bias.

Fair enough. There's a lot here though, the fact that you have to call them mexicans and that you called her a bitch for really no reason. Sure she was going off on him but we don't know why. If he cheated on her, would she be a bitch for overreacting? Maybe, if it involves excessive violence. I can't help but notice that the guy is faultless in your story however, and therefore I can't help but think you have a bias.

Your emphasis via capitalization makes me think otherwise. I agree that the punishment was fair.

I think it's pretty clear that you posted this story because you do in fact think it's cool that he hit that particular girl.

Pfffttt what are you talking about.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
