From what I can deduce you seem reasonable, a rarity in both movements which has caused me to be part of neither. I would hope that this is true only for the internet sphere (and that activists in the real world are much more reasonable than those who discuss such stuff on the internet). What is the actual question? I am a bit confused. Feminism has discussed a variety of cases of oppression (including of men) and is supportive of other progressive movements. However, its main focus is women's issues. I hope that clarifies?

I'm sorry, but you don't know how thread removal works on reddit. Clicking on remove for a thread simply removes it from the frontpage of said reddit. The discussion thread (that I linked above) will always remain as an URL on reddit's servers, and that thread will always link to the original address. In other words: if you post a link to an youtube video, the mods may remove it, but the thread remains in reddit's memory, and the thread will continue to link to the youtube video.
