Women Are Laughing Because We're So Fed Up"I actually read the study's paper about the trial. Of the ~300 participants, there were a 8 severe reactions, and many more with less severe issues. Muscle soreness, injection site pain, and changes in libido were the most commonly adverse effects (AE) directly associated to the trial. Most participants reported 1 or more AEs... Despite that, over 75% said they were willing to continue if this became available. It is a good start, but has some pretty common issues.
