Women students using "sugar daddies" to pay student debtYeah, maybe 30 years ago. The global labor market and the stagnant global economy have changed the rules. Even doctors are having a hard time paying down student loans these days. | /r/MensRights | 01/08/11 11:28 PM
Women students using "sugar daddies" to pay student debtBecause OBJECTIFYING YOUR BODY in a subservient manner for the pleasure of men is the height of female empowerment. Fixed | /r/MensRights | 01/08/11 11:27 PM
What women really want: to marry a rich manNOT ANYMORE! That was a Baby Boomer luxury, an era long gone, welcome to the global competitive economy! Degrees are by and large useless unless you have some skills to back them up! Ask those Generation Y folk how their job search is going with their $50,000+ student loan debt. You'll notice a trend with the employed Generation Y of either: A) They learned some type of marketable skill that makes them employable either in or out of school (college does not necessarily provide that, in fact most… | /r/MensRights | 05/01/11 09:12 AM
So I am writing a paper on Gender Inequality in Schools...It's unfortunate that we don't have a mainstream political party that represents our views. I'm also socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I'm still waiting for the Republicans to do something fiscally conservative. George W. Bush and Reagan were not fiscally conservative. I tend to vote Democrat as the lesser of two evils. If we're going to spend money either way, might as well get someone in power who is progressive on social issues. | /r/MensRights | 19/11/10 05:23 PM
Xpost from r/pics: "It's shit like this that makes me scared to hold my daughter's hand..." This is fucking pathetic! It makes me wonder if American society really is in a state of decline. People always bitch and moan about things not being as good as they used to be. But when you can't take your own child to the park without being labeled a child molester, we have a huge problem as a society outside of nostalgia for days passed. | /r/MensRights | 18/11/10 01:54 AM

[xpost ask.reddit]: I work with at-risk children (2-6) and have a hard time getting men to volunteer. Many say they are afraid to work unsupervised with children because they worry others will think it's inappropriate. Men, does this cross your mind?YES, unfortunately in America men are considered unclean or something so they can't be around children unsupervised or people's knee-jerk reaction will be to think they are pedophiles. Our sensationalist media is largely to blame. The headline "40 year old man teaches children to read after school" isn't as profitable as "40 year old pedophile performs S&M on 10 month old!!!". The first headline is easily 1000 times more commonplace in real life than the second one. | /r/MensRights | 18/11/10 12:09 AM
Portia De Rossi Refuses to be Interviewed by Men While on Current Visit to AustraliaJust wondering. I see people using it a lot and it comes off as if there is some sort of fundamental problem with white people getting along with black people, but no one else (of which is completely untrue). | /r/MensRights | 17/11/10 11:58 PM
Portia De Rossi Refuses to be Interviewed by Men While on Current Visit to AustraliaWhy are black people always used as the most extreme counter example? | /r/MensRights | 17/11/10 11:46 PM
Important Mens Problems Due To FeminismWow you gotta be fucking kidding me. I was hoping that a follow-up post would redeem your stupid logic above, but I was mistaken. Domestic violence is wrong, period. It doesn't matter who is stronger or who can run faster. Turning this into a value judgment based on a person's physical capacity is an end-run way of turning this into a sexist debate. If a man were to be wheelchair bound and abused by his wife, it would be just as wrong as a 200lb 6ft tall man being smacked around (or worse) by hi… | /r/MensRights | 17/11/10 11:40 PM

Important Mens Problems Due To FeminismNo, for the same reason why people get up in arms when a dolphin or a puppy is killed for food by another culture, yet eating cows and chickens is A-OK in our society. It's a matter of perception and marketing. Women are stereotyped as helpless and fragile despite the fact that they are just as capable as men in our contemporary society. We're in an era where social norms of 50+ years ago are clashing with economic and social realities of the modern day. Effectively, men are supposed to be emasc… | /r/MensRights | 17/11/10 11:32 PM
So I am writing a paper on Gender Inequality in Schools...No argument there. I was fortunate and smart enough to not have to take out loans for my education. I think it was definitely overpriced in retrospect. Tuition room and board, food, and books for 4 years cost me $80,000. I didn't go on any " college trips" other than Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family at home. I think it's insane that people take out loans for $80,000 or more for a bachelors degree, the value of which is a lot less now than it was even 4 years ago when I graduated. | /r/MensRights | 16/11/10 03:38 PM
So I am writing a paper on Gender Inequality in Schools...You're absolutely right. It is sad that you have to have stellar grades to find a crap job or get into grad school out of college these days, but it is what it is, this is America. Between the grade inflation and the unrealistic expectations from employers and graduate admissions boards, it's dog eat dog...and those loans don't pay themselves. In my opinion it isn't worth being "Right" one time when it could mean being shut out of opportunities later because some professor wants to push an agend… | /r/MensRights | 16/11/10 09:43 AM
So I am writing a paper on Gender Inequality in Schools...Exactly. I went to the University of California and god forbid you write a paper sympathizing with Right Wing politics in any manner (I'm Moderate leaning Left for the record). I actually wrote a blatantly Left leaning, poorly supported paper in an Economics course and got an A. Not only that, the professor approached me and praised it. I wouldn't bother making waves, you're not going to be some type of hero like TV shows tend to portray people who are in your position. Ultimately he (or she) wh… | /r/MensRights | 15/11/10 11:20 PM
