Just a curious passerby but, any racial preference?

That’s a pretty sweeping statement You literally described at least 50% of this subreddit.

Probably gonna get downvoted for this, but isn’t this subreddit the male version of that subreddit?

Exactly, how many instances have you seen of men tolerating a crazy girl just cause she was attractive?

maturity and stability are boring and unattractive traits in women. That statement is honestly quite puzzling to me. I always thought those were good qualities to possess in a relationship (especially for older guys who I presumed wanted to settle down a bit).

Ah, it’s seems like I’ve jumped to conclusions. You only request for high standards if the women you are with does the same. Seems fair enough, I wish you well in your dating endeavors.

but so do most men. So you would agree that men can hit wall also. The reason I ask is that many followers of the wall have a general consensus of: “Men age like fine wine, women age like sour milk.”

Why not?

online men who obsess over women hitting the wall are projecting their denial of their own mortality Now that something I definitely did not considere while writing up this post. In fact, I might have to agree, it does seem like some of the men fervently pointing fingers at women’s flaws have some of their own to hide. However for the rest, the wall does seem like a decent concept in the context of dating, but it’s just questionable as to why it’s not geared towards everybody.

So it seems that you feel that youth is tied to something integral within a woman and is therefore something that you’re not willing to compromise on. Interesting point of view, thanks for the thoughtful discussion.

It’s all men everywhere. Well, I see you’re saying, but I didn’t want to make any sweeping generalizations. How would you be able to confirm this definitively? Everything from Homer Simpson and Family Guy to just about every sitcom on TV. That is a good point, I didn’t consider anything regarding media and sitcoms. There are alot of shows out there that seem to have a bumbling overweight bald headed husband with their better looking “stable wives” as the main punchline/theme.

She is unable to give me her best, her best years are literally behind her. Why do you consider “her best” to be her younger years instead of some other potential things she could provide (maturity, well paying job, stability)? Also, if a man were to leave a woman he’d been with, simply because she had grown too old, how would you feel about that particular man?

Looks fade more on women Just curious, what has made you come to this conclusion? The wall is unavoidable: it’s just about how hard you hit it. That I agree, not everything can look good forever. In fact, if you think about it, the principle of the wall can be applied to just about anything that has a shelf life in this universe, but that’s a bit off topic.

Now that I look back on it, apparently r/The_Wall, is meant to be satire as well

A gold digger does not provide enough value for what she costs. I’ve seen many instances where ”high value” (and by high value I’m assuming you mean atttactive/willing to serve the man’s needs) women still get bashed for being gold diggers. But then again that’s anecdotal. Her job was keeping the relationship alive, she shouldn't get paid for failing at her job. How come only the woman is responsible for keeping the relationship alive? Women prioritizing their careers are ok, just bad partners. …

Almost any man that was raised in a somewhat conservative or even neutral environment with two parents will probably grow up to value things like a woman who is sexually modest and ideally a virgin Okay so there’s obviously some context here, the man has to be raised in a certain way. Not only that, you’re assuming most men have been raised that way. So I think in that sort of context, the main time a woman wants her man to be a virgin is when it's an obligation under religious ideals more so th…

Sounds more like entitlement on your part, not giving someone gifts doesnt mean they are "withholding" anything lol, and it sounds like you want gifts before any "romantic relationship" based on your post. Well, I wasn’t talking from my point of view. I was talking from what I’ve seen from other women. I don’t even want gifts for my birthday. Guess, I should’ve made that more clear.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
