That’s a tall order. I thought I’d found someone who was right two years ago but 8 months in she started pushing for living together and required constant affirmation that we would have children, something which I was still interested in back then. Huge red flag as we hadn’t even used the L word yet. I know exactly what would have happened had I not been smart enough to understand the situation for what it was. Needless to say things ended quickly after that.

I agree. I think society has so warped the idea of marriage, settling down and children that there are few left who understand that it’s not just a permanent trip to Disneyland. Personally, I value my freedom more than anything else so I doubt I’d ever be satisfied with that life (assuming I was able to find someone who understood that romance doesn’t just die once children come along). What exactly is the point of marriage and children if it ends in a dead bedroom and a relationship devoid of romance? Honestly curious. Because based on what I’ve gleaned from this sub that’s the worst possible decision you could ever make.
