If I can give you any advice it's please curb the drinking. I relapsed after 13 years of sobriety recently. My drinking ruined my relationship with my kids. You don't want them to see you spiral down that hole. I quit when my daughter was 11. She was 16 before she told me she loved me again. I was blackout drunk every night though.

She's 30, beautiful, great personality, but I couldn't do anything. It was very embarrassing. She knows past and the struggles I've ha…

Ironically I used AI to analyze my feelings about my marriage. It was very insightful. It did give me ways to approach this. My kids are 19 and 23. 23 year is done with college and on her own. 19 year old is at home right now, but may go back to college. He has a college fund so not an issue. I moved into my cabin for now. I have been going to therapy myself for a few months. Wife suggested couples counseling. I feel we're past that. As far as explaining why I want to be done is challenging. I h…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
