There is a phrase that I grew up with that seems to have fallen out of favor in the past couple of decades, and that is "The people that have it, don't have to talk about it". A guy like this thinks that this behavior makes them look like hordes of women are clamoring for his attention, but how it really comes across is that he is a thirsty buffoon with absolute shit for priorities or self-control. And then add to that the men that don't live with their parents, but are always stopping by their house for dinner or to have their laundry done. My uncle had his own house, but after my grandmother died, we found bank statements that showed that she had been giving him money for his bills up until a couple of months before he got sick. He was in his 50s at the time. So even if a guy has his own place, it's still not an indicator of maturity or responsbility.

How either party thinks that they're a winner in this scenario is beyond me. And the woman is someone that other women can't stand …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
