The mods and everyone else in there was making the claim that upper body strength was not a huge requirement for Navy Seals and Army rangers and it was discrimination designed to stop women from joining. They said it made sense to lower upper body strength requirements in this day and age when it 'isn't needed' to be a good soldier. All women I talk to say it is stupid and badly written, and yet they've bought and read all three books+happily paid to go and see the movie. If I read a book and though it was badly written and sucked, I wouldn't buy and read the sequels and pay for a cinema ticket to watch the film adaptation. I'm sure most of you are the same.
