That is ridiculous on every count. The moment that power is granted to anyone, it can be wielded against EVERYONE. We are not barbarians, or wanton murderers. We take the time to figure out what actually happened, fix what's been broken, and solve problems constructively.

Teachers actually are grossly underpaid, and that certainly includes men. Given the ever-expanding breadth of their responsibilities, the conditions under which they work, and the philosophical weight upon their shoulders to steer society in the right direction while under the auspices of a corrupt government, teachers are due for a freakin' raise. Hell, the entire education system is long overdue for a complete overhaul.

In my electronic music class, we have one girl among seven men. It isn't as though she completely lacks talent or motivation, but whenever she is absent- alas, how rarely- the dynamic of the class completely changes.
