1	Are you pretty much fucked (pr not depending on how you look at it) if you dont sexually escalate? First things first, you need to build attraction. Without that, it will be extremely hard at best to escalate sexually. Focus on saying the right things and keeping the conversation engaging and them you can start implementing various kino to get a vibe from the girl. This at least starts a conversation, to which, depending on their response, will give you an indication how fast you can escalate.
