I hear it's legal, but only on order or approval by a judge. Just keep in mind that "overlaps with" is not the same as "is the same as". We overlap with many other descriptors that are mostly positive, but of course no need to mention that. It would also be right to say MGTOW overlaps with a black man community as there are many MGTOW who are black. This is simply association bombing.

To be honest, I don't see many happy MGTOW This is might seem true, but it's probably only because those who complain or are vocal with their disappointment in life stand out. For 99% of MGTOW you will not even know they are MGTOW, they are just out there enjoying life as single or with a partner they have no intention of ever comitting to in a way that entails financial or legal entanglement.
