I noticed liberal women who went to college won't marry men who didn't, even if the woman has a dinky liberal arts degree. Maybe it's horseshoe theory or just plain logic (I feel like a unicorn in many regards), but my last 3 boyfriends (including my current bf who I've been with for 4.5 years) didn't attend college.... and I have 2 degrees, neither of the liberal arts fluff - a BS in electrical engineering and a law degree. I think college is for people who aren't naturally talented and need a …

That's a good catch, but it's a sad reality that AI recognizes and is helpfully pointing out so the person can be proactive.

Definitely a bad decision but I actually think laughing means she didn't find it sexual but funny. Usually when I'm in "that mood" I'm not laughing, I laugh more when I'm feeling awkward or find something funny, not sexy.

The headlines sounded so salacious, "pedos" and "sexual predators" are who everyone wants to suss out nowadays to take all your anger out on. Her picture is prominent when often murderers of a different color are not shown on purpose as to not cause "discrimination". It's a punishment in itself to have this story/accusation out everywhere before a conviction. When articles say someone "sexually assaulted" without further details makes it sound like a Preston Davey case. I read articles that didn…

I'm against false accusations of rape where both parties are intoxicated or the woman regrets it the next day. I don't think Danny Masterson should have been convicted, let alone get a sentence of 30 to life for having sex with a woman who was intoxicated 20+ years ago. But in this case the girl wasn't at a party or bar where they went home together, nor did she go to the man's home and drink at his house. She was removed from the hospital (1) while she was already intoxicated (2), by three men …

Toss up on this one. I know between men and women, society/judges take women's sides these days, especially if the girl is underage like she is here. However, observing Western societies cater to foreigners rather than their own people, they would give the foreign men the benefit of the doubt while dismissing the 17-yr old if she's white. Kind of like when they immediately believed Digwa's false "claim of racial abuse" and dismissed Henry Nowak's observable claim of "I've been stabbed." So she s…

Another tactic by selfish, groupthink women to shame women who are actually fair and logical into conformity. I don't need to get picked- I have a boyfriend, and I'M the one teaching him about Men's rights.

However, they won't ever use the flipside. "Not all men but always a man" in many search and rescue, fixing power lines, apprehending/stopping violent criminals, such as the random citizen who interrupted the Belfast eye gouging/beheading. Yes, women do some of that but not to the degree men do, but there are also women who are murderers and sexual predators, so the generalizations can go all around.

The most maddening thing she said was Black women live in agony that the Metcalf family has never known. You know, the family who actually lost their son to murder, and is getting death threats on their other son who lost his twin. To her, a potential amorphous worry of something possibly maybe happening is worse than the actual thing happening. This goes to show some people are selfishly tribal with inability to have empathy, or fairness. She has not apologized to my knowledge either, only doub…

I'm all about men's rights in the eyes of the law and society but I'm not going to pretend (generally) men and women are the same (obviously there are exceptions). Boys are more attracted to building, weapons, war vehicles, war aircraft. War movies feature men, are more often picked by men to watch (when without a female date) and they seem to enjoy the strategy and tactics. As for women in power waging war, sometimes war is necessary to stop other nations from overtaking you or vice versa. But …

That's great - the world is overpopulated. Plus all animals reproduce from centipedes to rabbits. It's not the feat you think it is, versus what men have invented and built. What other animal have harnessed radio waves, built airplanes and submarines, smartphones, satellites and space travel.

Agree - people should care about the best people for the job, and not the mix of men : women. Due to the girls in STEM push in the late 90s I went into Electrical Engineering and while I have my BS, I feel like a man's brain is more adept to it since it doesn't interest me. Men invented flight, harnessed electricity, radio waves, computers, turbines, thrusters... whatever else made space travel possible. There are more men doing dangerous jobs too like arborist, sewage, power plants. More women …

I think it's the sum of all things. Like you get points for: attractiveness (face/body), personality (charisma, humor, easygoingness, etc), wealth/paycheck...... and if you are lower in one you gotta have more of another. I don't think Luigi Mangione has a paycheck being in custody but tons of women are throwing themselves at him because they think he looks great.

pretty sure at least GE brought back one manufacturing plant to Kentucky. Why would farms have to foreclose? The point is for US produced items to be competitive since overseas there's cheaper labor.

Hahah thanks for the long monologue, let me return the favor. I'm a woman so 4'10" is already super short, but to be a 4'10" man would be the kiss of death for dating. I had a 6'6" ex and he mentioned feeling uneasy there was another person in the room taller than him. When I encounter an adult shorter than me, I feel rather imposing. Just making sure we're on the same page. The survival rate of the people on the Titanic is proof of that, although if it was brute strength, there would be no women survivors. Instead, it was mostly women and children survivors. It's not always women and children first though. I went to this radio thing where they dropped $ from hot air balloons, I didn't get a single dollar because all the men are taller (then again I'm 4'10") and jumped higher to grab the money. Overwhelmingly men. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Men and women are different, I'm for equal rights but to ignore that men throughout history have been more attracted to conquering other lands thru war is silly.

Do you mean outgroup bias towards women, like they favor them? I've noticed women are like "women stick together" and women vs men, whereas many men feel like protectors of women which prevents them from banding together.

In today's day and age, physicality isn't as dominant as weaponry. If a lion or bear comes at us, we can just shoot them. We use helicopters, plans, various signals to survey the land without stepping foot in it. Men have all the weapons because they are more interested in it. Most of my exes have huge arsenals, even my bf's 19-yr old son has many firearms including assault rifles he's modified to be more powerful. I know a few women with firearms but mostly just handguns.

Not just physical dominance of men - men also have more weapons. I know way more men with knives, guns, rifles.... even my bf's 19-yr old son has several AKs and ARs he's converted to be more powerful, as well as many other firearms. He spends all his money on that lol. My bf's uncle converted an entire room to a weapons room. He's single - if he were married I'm sure that wouldn't fly. Most of my exes have huge arsenals, last one had a safe the size of 2 refrigerators. One of my exes gave me a …

Shit I'd love to stop working and just take care of the house. Don't shoot the messenger though, I'm just saying throughout history it's men who wage war and many join the armed forces since strategy and weaponry is fun for them. I know tons of men who love guns, tanks, war planes, and not as many women interested in the stuff. I believe in fair laws and treatment of men and women but I don't pretend we're exactly the same with the same interests. We're not gender-neutral.

Thanks for answering my question. I'm a dictionary definition feminist too then, I believe both men and women should get equal treatment under the law, but also recognize we are different in mind and body. I wouldn't delude myself into "women can do everything men can" - that's why I agree with Camille's Grass Huts conclusion. I've noticed women have more ingroup bias, tribal mentality, and machiavellian self-interest rather than fairness. I've come across many women who say "Men want to take aw…

Men originally had control, they gave some to women but like the saying goes "Give an inch, take a mile." It was the industrial revolution when inventions by men freed women from having to spend all day cooking, cleaning, making clothes so she was free to work, and then vote... and then from there wormed their way in to office. Women are also great at complaining and making noise. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I don't know anything about Camille, based on her quote is she really a feminist? I've long thought men have invented everything that makes society modern. It's not an accident and wasn't easy. It took 300,000 years to get to what we have, and until the past 6,000 years we were pretty much the same, and then only 200 years ago did we have another change... then 50 years ago... it's one of those lie-truth games... if they're treacherous they've gone, all the men perceive are the non-treacherous ones. I don't think treachery is first and foremost on men's minds when needing to fulfill certain needs, men (and women) have needs and now the men have fewer options.

That's a good observation that sometimes people in this sub are starting to act like humourless feminists. I believe in men and women having equal rights and especially hate the demonization of men so prevalent these days. However, men and women are not exactly the same and have somewhat different mindsets. It's a common male fantasy to be wanted by many women, and since this is not a typical experience for many men, that's supposed to be the appeal of the bodyspray. I also feel like I've seen a…

First of all, what do you mean "we also spend most of our childhood with women like our mothers, teachers and classmates and somehow we are still programmed to uphold the patriarchy." I KNEW Gen-Z women hated men!! The reason I get this feeling is because Gen-Z men often hit me up and I'm a Xillennial which means I'm 15-20 years older than them. I ask, "why don't you date women your age?" and I guess this is the reason.

Nope - at my old job it was by a chart and your production. My female cousin, even though they didn't get mistreated at Goldman Sachs - her manager had all the women sign a note saying they were treated worse than men. Then they all got a giant piece of settlement money. Totally unfair.

That's what I realized as well - single parents have equal standing versus the childless person is expected to be flexible and cater to everyone. I wonder if things would have been be slightly different if he was wealthy- he was poor and lived with his mom so I had to pull all the financial weight- or if his baby momma had majority custody of the daughter. I'd say the same about dating a single father if you're childless.. It kinda messed up my life. Due to the kid having to be in a particular school district, I had to move 1200 miles to build a house in her school district. To soften the blow, I designed my house how I wanted, and I do like it. When I mistakenly searched in the wrong SD, he threw a fit and called me spiteful (her SD was not the town they lived in due to how it was divided). You know what, I'm going to sit this one out. I feel bad for the babies who have gone thru it. But my bf likes his penis, I like his penis, if I start harping on MGM or bring up foreskin restoration (albeit interesting), he will feel "lesser than" or think I find him lacking. When I say "don't throw the baby out with the bathwater" it's to address OP saying if men aren't vocal about circumcision, they "deserve none of their rights." If they're happy with their dick, there's no reason for them to "seek the harsh truth" and feel regretful about something they can't change. When you say "they've been robbed 60-90% of their sexual potential" what do you mean? Like they lose 90% of the sensation? I hate that US women are like that due to militant feminism because men end up becoming "passport bros." It's ironic and sad to me that when women call men abusers simply due to their age, that is a form of abuse and manipulation in itself. Women's retroactive revocation of consent is great for them but not great for other women. Men's fears of womens' accusations set back my career, since men are rightfully afraid to go on extended business trips with women for fear of false accusations or retroactive revoked consent. I've been excluded from overnight work functions, although I'm included on daytime functions. I don't blame the men, it's a necessary evil since they have no idea whether I'm that type of woman.

How manipulative of them to blame men for all women's problems, yet they treat you like their personal slave! Hypocrisy at its finest. Don't even bother engaging with your sister on men vs women differences. You are not every man, and she is not every woman. Are you able to live with your dad more? Perhaps your mom is taking out her anger towards your dad on you, if you resemble him. However, things may not be better if your parents were still together - often men are harder on their sons than d…

I still think people should be held responsible for their own actions, unless they are not functional - mentally retarded or immobile, and these drugs forced upon them (but then that's assault). These rulings and potential loss of freedom makes practitioners afraid to prescribe medication - I've been denied sleep medication and my boyfriend's been denied migraine medication. Maybe a loss of license + a few years. I don't even think illegal drug dealers should go to prison for that long unless th…

What is everyone thinking - too much, too little? Does it have anything to do with the fact she's a woman? I'm not sure this has to do with men's rights but more a drug/sentencing issue. Personally I don't think drug suppliers, male or female, should be given decades long prison sentences, unless they force-fed the overdoser or otherwise persuaded them. That's terrible - some people are just born evil. I always hated when they excuse women's bad behavior by blaming on a man, or blaming a teen's behavior on a potential "abuser" that never was. Some of the sickest child abuse cases are spearheaded by women, no man in sight or the man was passive/away.

You give almost zero specific information to work with to navigate the situation legally. But here is my general advice. Rip off the band-aid and get out asap. The quicker you do it, the quicker it will be over with. Your son does not need to see his father get abused. The longer you stay married, the more she's entitled to what you worked for. Fight for your rights whether financial or pertaining to your son.

I assume all men are different as well as their stage in life/how they feel about a certain woman. But I based my opinion on my experience that quite a few men I encounter seem to be able to have sex without feelings of attachment. Sure some men do have feelings with sex, but they seem to be able to better compartmentalize it. I don't think this is a question of "men's rights," where I think men and women should have the same rights and treatment, but men vs women psychology.

While there are double standards, my opinion is this isn't a double standard - men and women ARE different even though some people nowadays claim we're exactly the same in mind and thought. From my experience, more men can compartmentalize sex from feelings depending on their intentions, and just want the release. Female prostitutes can separate sex from feelings because they go into the mentality of doing a job. But usually for women part of sex is feeling desired and you don't feel desired if …

Here's what I came up with: "Misandry is a pervasive problem that society has not only been dismissing, but encouraging." I know there is way more to that in the Men's rights movement, but this is an Elevator Pitch which is short. After the listener gets hooked, you can continue to discuss other aspects of MR with them.
/r/MensRights25/03/26 02:32 AM

Correct, take out the references to women because it sounds like a "both sides" issue. Another reason to remove references to women is because Elevator pitches need to be short and direct. This one I can't tell what the point is and loses the listener. No need to be so "balanced" and as Wutz said, soft.

This is exactly why I don't put faith into "scientific articles" - everything is written with a bias. Actually I've been noticing white men get harsher sentences than black men so judges don't appear to be racist. They keep saying black men get harsher, so now they are going the opposite way. Do you know anyone else who got 30 to life, which is normally a sentence for murder, for a he-said/she-said possible rape case with zero forensic evidence, other than Danny Masterson? Compare that to Bill Cosby who served less than 3 years with many women accusing him.

Like men are being accused of patriarchy and being misogynist even when women are the ones with misandry, white men are being accused of being privileged and racist, and are the ones being told to shut up the most "due to their privilege and patriarchy"- even if they live in the trailer park and the one scolding them is Oprah with her billions of dollars.

Why can't they just call the former "Equality for both genders"? Feminism implies Female over Male, kind of like Patriarchy implies men over women.

I agree with you. Sometimes I think some men are going trans because they see the advantages women are getting, and think "I want some of that." Plus to be a "marginalized" person everyone has to treat the protected class with kid gloves while being "part of the patriarchy" that person is prohibited from expressing any view except to insult themselves, and any mis-speak can land them in hot water. Yes of course... ironically it's the cultures where women have the most rights- more rights than men, that they start bitching about not having any rights and scream about how terrible men are and men oppressing them. When women kill men - whether it's for money, wanting to be with another man, doesn't want him to break up with her.... it's always "he must have been abusive." Sometimes power dynamic causes a man to freeze in fear, threats of having the tables turned to authority like no one (such as yourself) will believe them. since the human population is greater than it's ever been in the 300,000 history of mankind (8,500,000,000 people versus for example 800 silverback gorillas), I don't think there is a need for women to be forced to bear children right now. Men need to stop encouraging this type of thing. If you won't stick up for yourselves, who will? Ah, the good old manipulation tactic of "planning for our marriage to fail before it starts." Well the reality is, marriages often fail and oddly, breaking the marriage contract often leads to a contract you didn't want, eg. alimony, unfair asset division. As another commenter said, make sure it's reciprocal so if she ends up making more money, the deal is the same... everyone keep what they made for the most part etc. Prenups can be thrown out if it's super one-sided.

I think men should boycott women because feminists blame men for everything without realizing that almost every modern comfort we have is created by man. This computer, that phone. Wireless communications, cars, the house we live in, A/C, harnessing electricity, lightbulbs, airplanes, even sewing machines.

You give someone an inch, they take a mile. "We just want the equal rights" they said. Now women want MORE rights than men.

Society is so unfair to men, yet women keep bullying them claiming victimhood.

Isn't it funny how men are expected to tolerate all sorts of things from women (and they do) but women still see men as evil when they're not. I agree the feminist movement has turned into a fake excuse for victim mentality - blame everything on men. man cheat? Pig. Woman cheat? Probably due to abusive man. In my rose gardening group, a therapist was the worst person! She stereotyped people "from a therapist's perspective" and called them evil things. As another commenter said, use ChatGPT. Even…

ChatGPT is like your bestest most helpful friend. Sometimes you can even correct it and it will apologize. Love!

She knows you don't like her wearing revealing clothing? It's not something you can force yourself to change nor can you change her preference to wearing revealing clothing. I guess she wanted to try being with you to see if you one of you might relent or overcome the issue but looks like you can't. I'm sorry about the breakup.

This is tough because I'm not a guy. I am all for men's rights but in this case I can actually see her point of view too. It's a bit annoying when a guy fusses about what you're wearing. But then is she posting just for attention - an attention seeker is no good to date in the long run, or does she have a message in the content she's posting. I wouldn't break up a good relationship over this but it's your right to, I suppose you guys might not be compatible.

It will never happen but I think a boycott of just a couple years would help women appreciate men more - they'll miss a lot of things they've taken for granted. I know men are not going to boycott women since their libido won't let them. On the flipside, women with their lower libidos are weaponizing that - become a feminist or join the "Male lonliness epidemic" (in truth, many women prefer non-feminist men).

I'm a woman who has been noticing that women are hypocrites. If I point this out, I get ostracized by women as a "Pick Me" which is not true, I'm just looking at things objectively. A man cheats on a woman? He's a pig. A woman cheats on a man? What did he do to cause her to cheat? Men are individuals who have their own struggles and women seem deaf to that. 10x more men than women die in fatal workplace accidents per year because of their more dangerous, but necessary jobs. Almost 4x more men di…
