I'm not laughing. That's a fucking miserable state of affairs for everyone involved including the women. Feminism fucks women the hardest in the end. Men get to check out of society and live for themselves.

The reason a lot of pseudoscience weaves its way into self improvement is the placebo effect and reinforcement. Basic lifestyle changes such as improving diet, undertaking exercise and approaching women will yield results on their own but people want more, faster and better results so they try out new ideas. Cold showers may not do anything for your testosterone levels but if you've forced yourself to suffer them then your mental toughness improves and you don't want to waste the effort that it …

It's not being married that is the problem for men. The problem is the divorce at the end of the marriage and the consequent misery that entails once you realise that your kids will be taken away, you will pay alimony, she was banging Chad the whole time, etc, etc. That situation doesn't arise without marriage in the first place. Don't get married.

"A couple weeks later I get a text" Nope. Not yours. Not even likely to be your kid. You can still get your life back. Paternity test ASAP.

Prepped protein snacks/meals recipes could be useful but we need macro details. What is the protein, fat and carb content of the basic recipe? Sure I could work out the macros myself but this post seems to have the intention of being a helpful shortcut.

The relevant bit is as follows: while her pal Alan jumped in the car and began scouring the streets looking for her. So the only person to take practical action to help her out (whether it was necessary or not) was a guy. I'll take a punt that none of her female friends thought to get off their arse and help and I'll also guess that Alan didn't get any magical vagina for his valiant white knighting efforts. Honourable mention goes to a drunk guy wandering home, pissed off that the kebab shop was…

Thanks for that info on the timescale. Wasn't aware of that. Perhaps he can get hold of some PrEP in the meantime.

I have to high light this quote found in the comments under that article because it's the funniest thing I've read in probably years and I'm trying not to laugh whilst in a quiet office: "Here's the thing... nobody likes sloppy seconds-- or two hundred and forty thirds... if you know what I mean. In fact, you might want to be careful when you're going commando so that thing doesn't moan in the breeze"

"She is 2 weeks pregnant" Read this back to yourself and think about how feasible it is that she would know that she is only two weeks pregnant. If she is pregnant how far along do you think she actually is? It's not yours. You are being suckered for the child support. She was already pregnant by some other junkie who either left her or died. She is attempting to lock you down as a replacement source of income. Edit to add: You fucked a junkie without a condom on. Get HIV tested immediately. Lik…

Agreed. This is one of the best posts I've read in two years of solid lurking. CTRL+C, pasted into Word and saved for future reference. There is something reminiscent of Scott Adams (Dilbert) about this post.

Part of the reason I picked out this article to comment on was the subversion of commonly held views on what constitutes Alpha and Beta. Rollo Tomassi does a far better job in this article form 2011: https://therationalmale.com/2011/10/20/alpha/

I'll admit that I'm possibly of seeing everything as a nail now that I have picked up the TRP hammer but I'll make an attempt to defend the original point using the examples that you've used. Feel free to pile in with corrections and clarifications. "This resulted in volatile societies in Scandinavia in which men were moved to engage in risky behavior, such as raiding expeditions to gain wealth and status to attract brides and to secure female slaves" I see this as beta-bux behaviour. If the met…

Is it possible that the 2nd and 3rd sons would still have had a shot at a buxom wench in the local tavern even if their older brother owned the family estate? The landowner would still only take one wife and no concubines so there would be a larger population of available women to mate with. Hence their efforts were focused on productive, constructive activity beneficial to society rather than heading off on an overseas holiday rape-fest. Then again I suspect that someone from a colonised part o…

I'll be honest I don't know what your driving at with this comment but the highlighted section seems to apply to Viking Betas. They need to set out.....to the ice-gleaming pinnacles of Mastery in order to acquire the same sexual access that the Alphas already have simply by existing. The Alphas can stay home and bang while the Betas have to head up the Path of the Wise, past a goat, stumble over a ridge and climb up an icy pinnacle to prove themselves worthy of a fuck or two. Is this what you me…

I was a miserable Beta-Orbiter to a girl whilst at university. We were "friends" in that I did all the usual orbiter stuff and pined for and pedestalised her. She obviously fucked her way through legions of better looking guys and cried to me when they dropped her for hotter options. This was a painful time for me and a dose of TRP would have helped immensely. However this was the late 1990s (I'm old and decrepit now) and Style hadn't even met Mystery. Through the wonders of Facebook I've kept i…

The one and only qualification for obtaining the Presidency is amassing at least 270 electoral college votes. Trump is therefore more qualified for the job than Clinton.

I left a comment including words to this effect over on that thread. He sounds like any other decent guy trying to help out someone he cares about. That makes him a perfect mark.

The link works fine for me with no redirecting. Not sure what the problem might be but here is an excerpt for your convenience: "These guys are so rich, hate their wives and bored with life they are willing to pay anything for their crazy sex fetishes and I was crazy enough to expect the money. I’ve had to be gangbanged and bukkaked by over 20 Saudi royalty at once (made 40K) in two days so it was worth it. I’ve literally been pissed on and shtted on so many times I just don’t understand why the…

I''ll pick up on this quote: "I stayed the same, perhaps I even improved in someways as I tried up my game" I think the outcome indicates that your change in behaviour, which you saw as improvement, she saw as her influence changing you. Therefore she realised that you were much more malleable that she initially thought and this reduced her attraction to you. There was still beta-bux to be had from you so the relationship continued but with more fighting and reduced sex. Familiarity only breeds …

There are a few separate issues that I see here. Firstly there is the continuing addict/alcoholic behaviours, secondly the weird mother-son relationship and lastly the strange decision to post this on TRP. Also - fuck the bank. He is obviously doing OK at two years sober however don't think that he can't relapse. My dad is an alcoholic (high functioning) and managed an entire year without booze when he was diagnosed with liver sclerosis and suffered ascites (fluid retention in the abdomen). He h…
