Down here in the South, we call ourselves MURCANS because the US is the entirety of North America. Canada doesn’t count. He’s our little brother. He’s a knucklehead, but we leave him be.

Same. If it were a normal, functioning adult that did this, I'd agree with his reaction. Slapping the fuck out of someone who genuinely may not understand what they're doing ain't right. Better ways of handling that.

If I had to guess, it's probably because it's a joke that people got offended over.

I've worked a handful of jobs, but never any super intense labor. I wore them literally every day up until two years ago when I needed a pair of steel toes, and since then, I usually just wear the steel toes since I'm too lazy to take them on and off again. I'll still wear them occasionally.

I did $350 on a pair of Chippewas about five years ago. Great boots, US made, and they haven't fallen apart. Highly recommend. And then for any other article of clothing (except maybe a jacket), I refuse to spend more than $40.

Oh, I think you're spot on with the first bit, but with how self-righteous and smug people act these days, I can totally see someone taking a selfie of their own outrage and posting it to social media. Although, I don't think it's wrong of the woman to expect one of the girls in the priority seating to move, either. It's only courtesy.

People typically avoid speaking to each other on public transportation, not unlike an elevator. It's easily fixable if there is a bag there, but people will usually just stand around and wait for a stop to see if anyone exits. There are always a few decent people who make room for others but it isn't a guarantee. I think the actual point of contention is that two younger women are occupying the priority seats which are intended to be for the elderly and handicapped. Taking a photo of it and thro…

likely has a bag or purse occupying In case you've never taken public transportation, it's not uncommon for people to put coats, shopping bags, bagpacks, purses, or whatever else they can muster up in a seat to prevent others from sitting next to them. It's totally possible that's also not the case in this instance. Apologies for being reasonable. Carry on.

It used to be great a year and a half ago or so. It's essentially turned into an anti-woman sub with all the frustrated teenage boys. There's still some occasional good material, though.

Eh, no. That's not correct. At least, not completely. She states that she realized the arrangement was a mistake. She outright says in her post: I don't want him to fuck other girls, I don't want to fuck other guys ... How do I go about contacting him and expressing that this needs to stop NOW without coming across like a crazy hypocritical bitch? It seems quite clear to me that this all seemed like a good time until the reality of the arrangement actually struck her. I know I fucked up, I broug…

That's when she realized her mistake. Isn't that...a good thing? Isn't it good she not only realized it but was honest about it instead of flipping out on the guy?
/r/PussyPassDenied18/02/17 07:13 AM

Solid point there. Didn't even consider it, but yeah, she's definitely getting the idea from the email that her boyfriend is going further than one-off flings and is instead leaving her for someone else.

I don't think so. I don't believe she would have noted her own hypocrisy if that were the case.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/02/17 04:07 AM

Perhaps you're right about that. Had she gotten laid every other night, maybe she wouldn't have cared. It may not have affected her. However, the fact is she realized her mistake. She fully acknowledges in the second half of her post that her intentions were selfish. This requires some introspection. We all make mistakes, and sometime we need that mistake to slap us right square in the face before we realize we're doing it to ourselves. She figured it out and wants to fix her mistake. The self-a…

And she realizes she made a mistake. She realizes how it'll make her look when she approaches her boyfriend about it. She doesn't want to sound like a hypocrite when she knows her boyfriend may figure she's been sleeping around, too. She realizes it was a selfish thing to do. I don't see how this is a PPD, frankly. She made a mistake, she realizes it, she wants to be open about it, she wants to make it right. Are we just parading around hating all women who make mistakes at this point, even if t…

I voted Libertarian, actually, because both parties are shit. Did you not catch my original statement about the leftist protesters being vitriolic? Do you understand the connotation of someone who is "rabid" in their support of something? Are you really searching so desperately for a straw to grasp?
/r/PussyPassDenied21/01/17 01:07 AM

Perhaps you're too young to remember, then. Edit: Here, I'll help you out. Unless you're all mostly concerned with Starbucks losing a window to opportunists, and you're not actually upset about the vitriol then that's fair enough. If the topic is concerning vitriol on the left and an absence of such on the right, then we still have more to consider.

Perhaps. Her prior action and body language don't give me any reason to believe she had any intent whatsoever to do anything more than get the two drunk shitheads to quit fighting in the street. She initially tried to persuade one guy to back off and give space. They didn't care, didn't listen, and she tried to get the other's attention. As if that nudge hurt. Still isn't PPD. There's no sense of justice whatsoever here. The woman didn't instigate shit, but tried to get them to knock it off and got fucking reamed instead. A totally absurd escalation of force. Had she walked up, kicked someone in the balls, then got decked in return, yes, PPD. This isn't it.

I'd say we just have a difference of opinion in what's fair, then. At a time where women are legally lesser than men, women have a right to be equal. Today, however, women are legally equal to men, so they don't have a good reason to call themselves feminists. If anything, egalitarians.
/r/PussyPassDenied17/11/16 05:37 PM

Heheh. I should have been more clear; perhaps the most absurd thing of all was that she "withdrew consent" from a conversation happening privately through Facebook messages. Wasn't even face to face.
/r/PussyPassDenied17/11/16 05:19 PM

Frankly, I don't see the issue with a gendered word in regard to what feminism used to be about. This was at a time when women were quite literally unequal at a legal level.

I had a friend who went full retard on me. We had both worked in the same office for the same cause a few years ago—it was a 501c3. She said that I was on the side of the patriarchy as a white male and she went on to "withdraw consent" from the conversation. Not even kidding. Literally. Literally said she "withdrew consent" from speaking with me. Blew my fucking mind.

That's very fair. You're being downvoted because this is a shit sub. Honest feminism referred to actual equality, particularly suffrage. The third wave morons in this video...Christ, I don't know how anyone could keep from losing their heads.

This is bullshit, it's not what I said and you know it. I'm saying that's what the majority of people here on PPD are thinking. Perhaps you're not in the majority, and that'd be good to hear. And sure, here it is.

Hilarious. A few months ago, I was downvoted into oblivion for stating that a female passerby to an altercation was in her right to ask people bigger than herself to break up a fight. That was not okay, however, because she was a woman, and she should do it herself. Now, it's a man's fault for not stepping in and breaking up a fight earlier, therefore justifying the guy in blue landing a cheap shot on him.
/r/PussyPassDenied21/09/16 07:59 PM
6

If by aggressive you mean not looking at him and walking away from the situation, you're right. Unfortunately, that's actually the opposite of being aggressive. Assuming he was verbally threatening the guy in blue is pure conjecture.

This sub ran out of good material a long time ago. There isn't a modicum of PPD in this video. It's not even justice porn. All I see is white trash on either side. The woman backs off. The guy who was being slapped around has the opportunity to walk away. Instead of walking away, he sucker punches someone. Cheap shot.

Ahh, redpill, that's the one. You're exactly right in making that connection. Can't stand that shit. PPD used to be fantastic; annoying, self righteous cunts were served justice. Now it's just a load of virgins who hate women. I think it started going downhill about eight months ago. :/

triggered Someone touches your arm and you flip shit. I remember being seven years old and saying, "I'll sue you!!!" to the rival kids across the street. It isn't a matter of how big and strong whoever a person is. That's precisely what you're focusing on. No. PPD has nothing to do with physical strength and brute force. Instead, it's the matter of a dumb bitch thinking she can get away with assault due to her sex. Now fine, if you're the ultra liberal bitch type who cries rape after being touch…

I'm not concerned with how a bunch of retards view my opinions. Ipso facto. The video posted by the OP does not show her touching the guy. By your logic, I could similarly say, "If you squirt me with that water gun, I'll shoot you with my .40." Obviously that doesn't make sense; its excessive force. In other words, y'all are trying too hard. Give me another video of some dumb bitch kicking a guy in the balls thinking she can get away with it. Those were the good ones. Yeah, as I said just the other day, this sub has really gone downhill. Not worth trying to discuss shit in here anymore as you'll just get downvoted by the retards. I don't know when this sub went from appropriate justice to straight up hating women.

Glad someone hasn't lost their mind. Guess I'll just go watch through the top all time posts here and enjoy what this sub once was. Back when it was dumb cunts throwing sucker punches at unsuspecting men and expecting to be totally free of all consequences. If we've slumped to the point where an old woman asking for someone to break up a fight is a PPD, goddamn.

Of course, it's best to not get involved. Then again, remember, back in her day people had a bit of class. Edit: Missed the implication of responsibility bit of your post. Absolutely not, he has no responsibility whatsoever. That woman was upset to see people fighting and everyone just standing around watching and laughing. That doesn't seem like such an unbelievable reaction for an elderly woman. It's not PPD, it's generational. Cultural, even, I'd say. Does the camera guy have any responsibili…

Yeah, I agree with you. Seems like this sub has gotten aggressive just for the sake of being aggressive towards women. Don't see anything wrong with what she said. She even responded kindly and civilly to the dude's retorts.

I didn't hear it as bossing him around, but I did hear it as an older person asking someone younger and stronger to break up some senseless violence instead of standing by and videotaping it for the fuck of it. Frankly, I don't see how it's a PPD. Seems to me like a civil elderly woman. Edit: Almost at -100! Let's hit it, guys! I've never actually had a post downvoted so heavily. Not even in /r/The_Donald. Sorry to hear about your situation. The exact same thing happened to my mom when she was a little girl, and it's haunted her for her entire life. Good comments and points from both of you. Hopefully he gets his complaints addressed and hopefully he doesn't suffer emotionally from that shit daily. The prison systems are fucked and people in power will likely always get away with shit. The ACLU would gladly look into his case if he contacted them.

That makes sense. That wasn't the point she was trying to make, though. She was literally pointing out the fact that transgendered women are treated unequally because they're supposedly targeted more than LGBQ people or straight people by ICE, which to me sounds like horseshit. Of all the people ICE can go after, they're specifically targeting and detaining trans women.

I've got a friend (or she used to be a friend, anyway) who has been terribly upset with the recent SCOTUS ruling and not for the reasons you'd expect. We both worked with the ACLU on equal rights issues and one would expect she'd be excited with the reversal as most people are. However, she's been complaining nonstop about how we have not attained equality because there are transgendered women in detention centers being deported to their home countries for illegal immigration. In other words, ye…
