I barely remember the original Ghostbusters, but I won't see this new one, and for only two reasons: one, I hate Saturday Night Live (the recent seasons) and three of the four women are current/former SNL performers, and two, I've seen Paul Feig on TV and I want to slap him Joan Collins-style.

Watching the coverage of this story sickens me because the stories of the male victims aren't being told, while the whole thing has turned into a "war on women". Look at HLN, which is beyond complicit in this regard. Since the tragedy occured, it's been for the most part about the killer's hatred of women. The female victims have gotten more screentime than the men, and yet the men made up 2/3 of the murdered. Three of them were Asian-Americans like me. But are their stories being told by HLN an…

When I was in elementary school, a bully harassed me and my two brothers one morning, not two blocks away from school. The events of that morning were a blur, but in the end my principal suspended me from school while the bully got away with it. We weren't even on school property when it happened. I ended up getting whipped by my parents. It was one of the worst days of my life. The allegation was that I threw a rock at the bully and his posse. No one got hurt to my knowledge. I admitted throwin…

Some thoughts: I consider myself a liberal who supports both Men's and Women's Rights, and I do not count Lena Dunham as one of my heroes. She's not the "voice of her generation" or any generation for that matter. I think that she's an insult to feminism.

I don't understand why some religions prohibit these things. To me, it sells both genders short. It seems that they think that all men are sex-hungry dumbasses who can't keep their dick in their pants, and that all women are whores no matter what they do or don't do.

No, we shouldn't call her "vagina". We should call her "vulva".

So, this... lady wants $88,000 a month so that her kid can have extravagant birthday parties and extravagant summer/winter vacations just to keep up with his private school classmates? Private school kids, much like their public school counterparts, are in school most of the year. To my knowledge, even the most well-off students are not having birthday parties every week and jetting off to fucking Phuket or Gstaad on three-day weekends. They have their grades to keep up, universities to court, e…
