Believe it or not, there are other websites besides Reddit. So when a video such as this circulates, it’s actually possible to see it elsewhere, and to want to share it to a place that would have a fun conversation about it.

Oh wow, you’re right. Very recently. My bad.

People need to consider the source before posting. This article cites We Got This Covered, which is possibly the least credible entertainment news site on the internet.

If the entire cast and other directors/creators at DC all get behind this, making DC look bad if they don't get rid of her, then sure. Then it'll be the same situation. But fan backlash is hardly what pushed Disney over the edge to rehire James Gunn. It was the fact that the cast of Guardians, Taika Waititi, Peyton Reed, and many others were being very outspoken about it. But I can't imagine Jason Mamoa saying "Fire Amber Heard or I'm out."

That was wide-spread outrage. Idk if there was a fan petition — I never saw one — but the amount of hate on social media (and regular media) that the design got is what ultimately led to them changing it.

You just contradicted yourself. An online petition had nothing to do with that.

When it comes to movies, it is. Hollywood doesn’t give a fuck about online petitions. 300,000 is such a drop in the bucket, and they know the average person has no idea about this whole situation. When it was thought that Johnny Depp was the abuser, there were petitions to have him removed from Fantastic Beasts. And look how that turned out.

And Captain Marvel

In a year where there are more than 5 Best Picture nominees, The Dark Knight gets nominated. In a year where there are only 5 Best Picture nominees, Black Panther doesn’t get nominated. However, Logan not getting nominated is a travesty.

Exactly. Had the roles been reversed, the daughter would immediately have been taken away from the father. No question there.

She didn't have to go to college. It's not like she needed the degree. She did it for her own personal fulfillment.

Tell me how neither of those things doesn't have to do with personal fulfillment...

Yeah. Because starring in one of the biggest film franchises of all time and then going to Brown sure is an empty life.

This is a really stupid post. Just because there's horrible, aggressive, militant "feminists" out there, doesn't mean that that's what feminism is. That's what Taylor is trying to say. Don't let those losers represent what feminism is, and don't be afraid to be feminist. I will say that I disagree that not being feminist means wanting men to have more rights. But I hardly think anything she said in this video justifies being called an idiot. This post makes this sub look horrible and ignorant...

Yeah, the way they're talking is so unnatural.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
