On the weekends, I'll invite some friends to go out with me but if no one's game, I've started to just go out on my own. There's nothing stopping you from being social but yourself. I don't know how old you are but I've started to get active and join student groups at my local university. If you're unhappy being home and alone, be a problem solver, get involved.
