December 2019... exonerated January 2024. And it sounds like there was video evidence. The wheels of justice turn slowly but those 4 years must have been miserable.

This is only half the post. This Karen's argument seemed like fake outrage to me. They are mad their partner got dress coded and blamed it on gender. IANAL. Correct but with context of this instance it would be extremely difficult for cops to prove that with beyond a reasonable doubt she had an intent to kill which is why the next applicable charge would be some degree of murder. The common actions that are a necessity for an attempted murder charge include stalking, soliciting someone else to kill (hitman), luring to a nefarious area to commit the act, and breaking-in. Little bit of a reach but ok. I literally said I wasn't defending her, just explaining why there was "just" an assault charge. Hopefully she gets charged with murder now and gets a life sentence since the victim has tragically passed.

Not defending her at all but you cant charge her with anything above aggravated assault such as murder until the guy is actually dead. Given the recent tragic update that he has passed I am sure she will be charged with second degree murder.
