| -9 | We need to talk more about Left Wing politics and less about feminismI’m mostly a lurker on this sub, but I couldn’t agree more. It often feels like this sub is more interested in grievance politics than positive male advocacy. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/07/26 07:50 PM |
issues with secular talk that concern the left and the male rights movement and honestly everything.I’m genuinely worried about people’s critical thinking and communication skills atrophying over the next couple of years if posts like this are any indication. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 27/07/25 01:38 PM

| -8 | They are not our alliesWhy are we still getting mad over random posts? Seriously, this one specifically has only 3 upvotes. It isn’t even the top reply to the top level comment, which itself is only like, 10th overall. Most of that thread is making their anti-draft stance fairly clear. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 07/05/25 09:07 PM |
Why Men Are Moving Right: They Are Being Sacrificed at the Altar of Women's LiberationI feel like this post makes way too many prescriptions about how the genders are. The point of liberation is to afford people individual choice in how they pursue meaning in their own lives, and this sort of prescriptive language runs counter to that idea by implying that individuals who don't adhere to those prescriptions are aberrations. Also, there are a lot of unevidenced assumptions being made in this post that are used to construct this narrative. In general, I'm not convinced of evolution… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 15/12/24 03:38 PM
The gender bias on this subIs this really that important? AITAH and other, similar subs are rage-bait slop. They’re cheap entertainment; the day-time soaps of the internet. It’s not worth your attention. I culled these subs from my feed for a reason. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 23/08/24 04:59 AM
as a trans man, how do i fit into male advocacy?I don’t see what this has to do with my point. Both OP and I acknowledge that there are situations where men may be overly scrutinized due to their gender. The point I was pushing back on was the claim that OP can’t be shown deference due to their gender in some situations while being scrutinized for their gender in others. These are not mutually exclusive claims. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 09/01/24 07:30 PM
as a trans man, how do i fit into male advocacy?I feel like this is a willfully ignorant take. Society is complex and multifaceted. People can be and are treated differently depending on context. The way I interpret OP's statement is that now that he's living as a man, there are certain social and professional situations in which his thoughts and opinions are given more weight, consideration, and deference that he wasn't afforded when living as a women. Alternatively, there are other social situations in which OP's behavior is scrutinized and… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 09/01/24 05:06 PM
I think men's activists in general we underestimate the dangerous side of the potential that comes with the feminist hijacking of narrativesWho makes and administers the test, and what’s to stop them from filling it with and grading it according to their own biases so as to arbitrarily disenfranchise people? | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/10/23 03:24 PM
The UN had generated a list of gender neutral terms to promote equality. So I improved their list to include equality for men.Why does "single mom" become "coparent" and not "single parent?" If the father is dead or absent, then they very clearly aren't a "coparent." If the father is still involved but the mom insists on being called a single parent, then by all means, feel free to correct them, but there's obvious utility for the term "single mom" (or "single parent" if we want to maintain gender neutrality) that "coparent" doesn't cover. Also, I feel like "guy" is becoming more of a gender neutral term anyways (espec… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 25/07/23 02:19 AM
Anecdotal job discrimination. Is it a large scale problem? If you join a squad, you should expect 'locker talk'. Or, if you're at work, then you should act professionally and treat all of your coworkers with respect, regardless of gender. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/07/22 05:47 AM
