Worse is that she went above and beyond. When you're as tall as she is, the advice is to get out of the way and to have one of the students get a teacher/adult that is actually of the same size or in a position of authority. She's got a duty of care to herself as well and getting injured is a very real possibility when intervening in something like this. She really went above and beyond here.

I would also add that here in Australia at least, a Teacher filming students wouldn't be illegal... but it could get you brought up on a civil lawsuit. Then the teacher's ethics board gets involved and you really need to justify why you're filming students in the class (outside of a pre-arranged and waiver-signed activity). So it's not illegal, but it can get a civil lawsuit started. That said, if it's student v student, the student isn't going to get charged with anything. Below roughly 16 year…

There was a vid about it on \r\Lectures, the whole rape mentality thing and many universities are being sued by male students that were expelled due to terrible processes. Im pretty sure they have a 100% win rate against the university so the deterrent is slowly getting there
