But what if you do not make it clear? So people just assume best intentions from others. As far as I am concerned how quickly we have sex do not weigh on my decision to have a long-term relationship, although if the sex is great and mindblowingly good it will help a lot. How pretty is she? How well put is she? What's her career? What are her passions? Her sleeping with a guy she likes doesn't say much about low or high value tbh. But to each their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/25 11:10 AM

It's a good thing to be with a woman that wants you that way. It's not because she sleeps with you fast that she does with everybody. You don't sound blue pill, you sound dumb.

"even if you did bring up genetics I can still link to the fact how people (LIKE CHRIS-CHAN.) have been able to get into relationships and they aren't exactly the peak specimen either" This is not a valid argument. You are using one exception to refute a general rule/observation. Or are you seriously saying that because that guy found someone, everybody will be able to find someone? What fucking logical leap is that?

Complete deluland bro. Let's take your guy stuck in iron-lung, you are basically saying this guy has good chances of finding love??? Aka, some women will commit (even non physically, as you point out) to a guy with whom they can do nothing and basically sacrifice their only life for a subpar experience of life? I think not. I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying it might take him 10 years, 50 years, or 100 years to find a girl who want him like that. So during all this time he is searching a…

On the contrary this has nothing to do with the analogy you are making. The issue is not that they stopped doing something for themselves or a hobby, the issue is they stopped doing something for their newish partner.

Also following days where I have sex, I tend not to want to masturbate for a week or so. While in my no sex period, I could masturbate every 1-2 days. Quite interesting, never realised that before.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 10:14 AM

Me? Had sex 2 days ago. Usually have sex weekly or every two weeks, and I'm still happy with that. Although the higher frequency the better I believe. I can tell on weekend I'm having sex/sleep over that I am overall more productive/motivated/happy. Masturbation tends to make me more depressed funnily.

Okay that's a fair point, it's not a need. While I agree you won't die from lack of sex, having it can help immensely with quality of life. And actually move people that were in the "mentally unhealthy " category to the "healthy" kind. It's like vitamin D, you won't die if you lack of it, but it's well known that if you do have a lack of it can fuck up with your mental health (at least in Nordic countries ). For sex it might not be as extreme, but clearly having it is way better than not having …

I mean, no offense bro but you do kind of sound obnoxious and stupid. Just as it is well known that sport is good for your mental health and health (due to the two being intimately linked), sex also helps with that. Besides, physical touch and kisses are also known to help releasing good kind of hormones (endorphins, etc..) that help with relaxation.

But women prefer taller men, who make more money and who are more handsome. Just as men prefers women who look beautiful. Seriously, I don't understand why bluepillers absolutely want to live in laland.

So we need to derive the definition of blue pill from the red pill. If red pill pillars: Women comes and go - Stoicity Men should strive to be the best versions of themselves (physically, financially) as it makes them happy and increase their attractiveness - Action Trust needs to be earned Blue pill pillars are simply : Be vulnerable, be open, be romantic and be ready to be hurt - Emotions Your chance will come - inaction and baseless hope Trust should be given by default. Your comments about height are the same. It's very obvious empirically that height influence hugely one's social and dating life - at least during teen and early adulthood. As I said in an other comment the article are using data that are missing plenty of angles to answer the question.

This is exactly what being gaslighted mean though? Ie. : You struggle with dating, and now people online tells you your problem is obviously coming from your personality or hygiene. Lol People just want those ridiculous statements to stop. They just want to find a bit of comfort in knowing that sometimes, there are things which you can't indeed control in your life, and it is how it is. What's wrong with that?

I think sexlessness does not capture certain things - is it paid sex or not? Is the sexlessness voluntary or not? Without those information it's pretty much meaningless. Also number of sexual partner, number of casual (unpaid) encounters, and age of first sexual encounter, would be much more interesting metrics. I'll always remember this experiment they had fone putting a multimillionaire, 5 foot 4 world-class writer who fared much much worse than a 6 foot plus bartender

As it should, black pill is about what matters the most, which is surprise how you look. Even if you are fit, provided you are short or medium height + ugly, there is almost no reality where you will land a hottie . No without a substantial economic back ground difference, and even, is it true desire? Or just a woman settling for Mr. Good enough. That's the blackpill, that leagues exist and that there is very little you can do to climb that ladder, getting a good job is enough, going to the gym …

The comment on Peter Dinklage, is sorry to say, just full of shit. I remember an interview of him, where he said himself, that his height held him back a lot in dating, and that women did fact really care about height.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 04:18 PM

180.5 isn't short by all means, you are slightly above average in that regards. Also you said yourself that you aren't ugly. All in all, I bet you are slightly above average. And then yes, things like confidence and how you carry yourself can matter. You wouldn't have had the same experiences, even remotely, with 8-10cm less.

Yup I fear she is probably a bit biased: She was a single, never-married 40-year-old mother who had conceived via donor sperm, and Gottlieb was offering herself up as a cautionary tale. “My advice is this: Settle! That’s right. Don’t worry about passion or intense connection,” she wrote. “Because if you want to have the infrastructure in place to have a family, settling is the way to go.” By the way, please, if you come trying to convince someone about something you have to give sources, link pa…

Which book is that? She wrote several and I'm not seeing the comment where you gave the book name. Her personal experience seems interesting "She was a single, never-married 40-year-old mother who had conceived via donor sperm" , which would tend to make me thing she might be biased in some regards. As I was saying in another comment, true love is overrated. How do you even define "true love" ? I'm pretty sure the only people who still believe in true love are those without much experience of relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:32 PM
1

In how many relationship have you been? Because I'm pretty sure those that have been in a decent number of relationship, be it female or male, would relate to what I'm saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:15 PM
1

And yet you have yet to share one peer reviewed paper, let alone several. Excitement, lust,etc.. are important for an healthy romantic relationship. "Romantic love" is not anything special, and it's mostly biological.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 09:14 PM
2

I'm saying I doubt your statement is true. "the science is clear : the relationships with the most butterflies and “tingles” are very unsuccessful and unsatisfactory". Is the science clear about it? How many peer-reviewed papers do we have? By whom? How many participants in those studies. If you only have one paper to base yourself on, it's not enough to conclusively say that the science is clear about something.

It's of course never just about looks, but it's never without looks. People who don't find each other physically attractive rarely gets together . I don't see why it's hard for people to acknowledge that in the dating market looks > personality by virtue of the fact it's the most powerful filter for one's dating pool.

Are you a self reported average (meaning you never really got complimented, but it did happen on rare occasion) married to an objectively handsome man? (Model territory). You are wrong. It's because you don't have a huge rejection rate ratio. If you were mostly or all the time rejected by guys you like, your self esteem would take a huge hit. There is no doubt about it.

Agreed that it's a bad look to say that, but it's not wrong. (Also the opposite is kinda true, guys will put up with a lot of shit for a girl that's their top option)

Of course it is never only looks. But if you don't pass the looks (ie. When her eyes land on you she finds you "meh" or down right ugly ), no amount of personality is gonna make it up. Personality only matters if she finds you acceptable.

Note that however, nowadays, the ability to reproduce is not difficult to get - pay 50-100k$ for egg donor + surrogate, and it's end of the story. Although of course, there would be no intrinsic validation that would come with it, and raising your progeny alone would supposedly not be easy.

I know
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 08:37 AM

If you are significantly more attractive than your partner minimum threshold, then no, little chances your partner will dump you because a very hot dude/gal comes along. But if you barely meet baseline... Well, people can very easily convince themselves they deserve "better". At the end of the day, it's a fight between a biological imperative: mate with the most attractive you can get. VS being used to someone, a current way of life, attachments formed with your current partner
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 08:15 AM

Spark, lol. 95% of the time it is something physical, why sugar coat things, with broad and vague words. Spark, compatibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/02/24 08:09 AM

Romantic compatibility = Sexual attraction + common ground on what intimacy should look like Emotional compatibility : personality match, social sphere match, values match (basically being able to be friends) + life goal match. But at the end of the day, everything mostly hinges on romantic compatibility initially (first filter), and more precisely sexual attraction. It is how it is. All of those are important. But... People can, and do compromise their intimacy needs, their social sphere and va…

Nothing (except surgeries which I can't do at the moment, and which might not change my overall level anyway). At the end of the day romantic love is only about looks. It's simply that we don't have the choice. If I could change my body/DNA for Chad's I would do it in a heartbeat. The fact of the matter is, we maybe centuries or milleniums away from such a technology. In the meantime if you are rich you can still enjoy yourself with your money. I don't see what's wrong with a girl going for the money versus going for the otherwise very primal urge of fucking a "hot guy" . I don't see one as more morally right than the other.

Yep, but as hot girl, if you drop your standard you for sure marry ugly millionaire . As I was saying in terms of quality of life, it doesn't matter whether they want you deep down or not, in the end they will sleep with you, and refuse to hang out with Chad for you (or at least they will prioritize) With a billion dollar, you can have a literal harem of model 20-something girl, you give them each a 20ke/m allowance, it's a drop in the bucket for you and something they could never hope to attain…

Imo, in terms of smv power and quality of life : Deca millionaire+ ~= Stacy (9, 10) >= Chad > becky > normal guy > ugly guy > ugly girl. If you go to a country where your physical feature are highlighted (average height of men is lower, average skin color is darker etc..) then your attractiveness increase. If you are very ugly, then of course going passeport-bro is cope, and in any case women won't be attracted, and it's mostly gold digger that you would attract. But for some, it's fine. If you are ugly to the point your dating is non-existent besides a guy that disgust or a woman that disgust you.. I think the logical conclusion is indeed to give up on dating (provided you have really tried everything in terms of self provement : gym, surgery etc.. ). But rejoice, you can still have a family and pretty children. You only need to use surrogacy / or a male donnor, and you can give a real chance to your children by providing them superior genetic markup.
