Such broad generalizations and examples won't work well together. "Men this, woman that" and example you provided is what exactly? While it is true, that women in general receive more compliments, it's not true that all of them do. Same goes for men. Also in this there's sort of apex fallacy here, as all the compliments usually go to the most attractive ones and those who make the best impressions through all means; be it appealing demeanor, clothing, simply as commendation for some actions or b…

It may be just my guess, but probably you got to learn how to handle the emotional hit, from the previous hurtful experiences. It still may "hit" at some later time once you mentally and emotionally process it some more, but I'm glad you're doing relatively well. Take this with a grain of salt though, because I'm not professional at psychology and aspects around it, and I also can't imagine how it would really feel to be cheated like that. All I can imagine it's way more severe than being cheate…

It's flabbergasting, and I simply cannot fathom your reasoning. What "excuse" do you expect of me and for what now? For not being feminist? I don't need excuses for that.In the previous post, you ridiculed me ad hominem, for having a different ideal than yours regarding men – and pay attention please, because this might be shocking to you: I don't want a rich man. I want a loving and caring man. And thankfully I have that. Is that what hurt you so much? Now you're saying it's impossible to be me…

Thank you. I'm sorry you got it rough and quite unlucky. Although, I think you did learned your lesson now – three times the charm, as the saying goes. I believe you already noticed the pattern that quite often occurs; pathological and destructive behaviors often have roots in closest family and are carried on by the children, as they don't have good authorities to copy from during their childhood. So they end up being influenced by the worst examples during their process of growth and character…

Because I always lived in this world and growing up in more traditional environment didn't make the world any less modern. It also didn't caused all the toxicity and bad influence to go away. It also didn't sheltered me in a bubble. Since then, some years passed during which I did saw and experienced quite a lot things that lifted my eyebrow numerous times. And thanks to my cognitive skills and ability to think and reason, I gathered some knowledge. I am also able to perceive what is happening a…

With such generalization, you're not any different than a feminist doing that.

Not all women though. Only these under influence of feminist ideology, now even more prominent than ever. I never had such expectations as I was raised and grew up in rather traditional family, thankfully out of reach of all the toxic social ideas of "modern" world.

I just want to coin in an observation about age gap here. My husband is just five years older than me - he's 33. It's not a big difference, right? Yet, this apparently gets to the spotlight among some of our acquaintances who know our age (or just assume), and are biased towards feminist side of things. But for these people it's not as plain as just difference in age; it's looked through the aspect of how we look. Simply because it is visual "evidence" in their eyes, as our looks indeed exaggera…

I said exactly what I said. Don't extrapolate, associate and twist around two different things like that, as your assumption is nonsense. For one, modern feminism doesn't contribute in any way to men and women being equal in the light of law – it does the opposite. And two: feminism indeed promotes sexual exploitation of underage individual with the rhetoric I mentioned earlier regarding sexual liberation among other aspects.

Wake up. It does just that under the guise of "woman empowerment", "independence", " breaking free from patriarchy" and all sorts of ridiculous statements painting women as victims left and right.

This woman disgusts me. In her videos she doesn't tell much more specifics than "feminism bad, yada yada, this woman did this or that", while at the same time her whole persona screams how "liberated" and "empowered" woman she is by exposing that tattoo covering her whole neck and cleavage. Not to mention the "NSFW content" she sells on her patreon.

I'm talking about different ways of reaching satisfaction, not an abstinence exclusively, although it's still one of options if one prefers that.

My take on this is; women shouldn't spread their legs left and right on a whim, and men shouldn't put their junk in every hole they can lay hands on. People should accept the fact, that sex, even with all sorts of contraception methods, may result in pregnancy (even if chances are very low), and therefore: a responsibility. Before committing to an act, all should think twice about possible consequences. There are also other ways of achieving erotic satisfaction, without taking the risk of concei…

It reminds me how on certain social occasion my husband was openly attacked out of nowhere for telling very specific and technical anecdote about his work. He told that specifically to some other guy who worked in similar field, as they were talking – he got it just right, they laughed. I had no idea what the hell they were talking about so I plastered a smile number six and tagged along. At this point, let me clarify: I assume pretty much everyone without some sort of expertise on the field of …

It is indeed connected, although I'd also like to point out that "capitalist ideas" is a term broadly propagated by various kinds of communists originating from the times of Russian Revolution, depicting capitalists as evil and greedy land owners or factories – and generally rich people by association. And the term itself is pretty much nonsense umbrella term. Modern usage of "capitalist" is already twisted by this communist propaganda from the past, associated to English industrial revolution a…

My reasoning behind why I think feminism spread like a cancer in society lies in the fact, that "family" as autonomous and to some extent independent social unit eroded into merely a "concept" or just an "idea" rather than actual being. This was caused, over the course of past century, by ideas coined initially by Marx and then Lenin in the past. Ofcourse these ideas evolved into what we have today – society full of "unique" "individuals" who can identify as whatever they want, all connected not…

She's not a comedian, she is just a clown. Comedians tell jokes. And this woman, well, she's bitter and sad. She and the likes like her brought this to themselves with their own choices, decisions, beliefs and whatnots. There are plenty more examples everywhere, that follow the same cliche – not getting any younger, alone, blaming everyone and everything around, men especially, for their own failure at life. Degenerated so much they are already unable to recognize a fault in their own reasoning …

I think people in general like to show off a bit. Not for others but for their own self, to prove before that "self", that something can be done or just to concentrate prior efforts in that one moment of time for a little mental gratification. I also think it's very healthy to do so – tactfully within the reason and with moderation ofcourse. As everyone wants to feel good, that is one way to boost self-confidence and one of many ways to care for mental wellbeing by improving self esteem. This be…

Haha, they do! My husband's daily Volvo is his pride and joy. He won't miss any occasion to show it off. The other thing he recently bought is whole new level of it, but it's real collectors car though, so showing it off goes without saying.

Don't be surprised, he learned about your romantic history from your sister. If that was news to him, no wonder he's on the edge. He not only have reason to question his trust in you, but also have the right to clear any doubts. If you have nothing to worry about, there shouldn't be a problem to put his mind at ease with just a simple test.

My husband served in the military before, under ISAF mission. Came back wounded and scarred. Thankfully, he recovered fully back to perfect health. Now he's retired due to his age – he's over 30. Anyway there shouldn't be any reason to draft him back to the military again, but for me, the concern about him being drafted anyway by some insane government resolution is very real and much more closer than the idea of "world war", because we live in Europe, and current war here goes on. And apparentl…

I'm not an expert about guns or anything like that, but as far as I know, most shotguns hold less than nine shells. She shot her son nine times. This implies that most likely she had to reload the gun after firing few times. Then started shooting again.

"Clinic"? This is a "clinic"? What is shown in the video, is not a clinic by any sensible standard. Lack of proper lighting, lack of proper medical equipment, lack of privacy, and lack of everything that would make a treatment room that meets even cheapest medical standards of civilized world.

If it goes for my husband, he does fight back, and there is no line he wouldn't cross. But he doesn't pick fights usually if it's not for our sake. Also no one is picking fights with him as most people are just intimidated by his presence. As I was told many times, he has this aura of someone with whom it's better to not mess. And... it's true. It's just better to not mess with my husband. He's tall and well built with calm and reserved demeanor and he's straight-to-the-point kind of man with re…

What you described here, I like to call a "twisted version of knitting club" (loosely translated from my native language. I'm sure this also have a proper name, but I can't recall it now); basically a clique but broader, a social group of mainly women, connected through various relations, that spreads certain ideas within itself. Such groups form everywhere; schools, classes, workplaces, friend's groups and wherever more people are present. What happens then is a feminist or few, put themselves …

That is true, it is comical and sad. But after everything is said and done, it's only the will and choice of these people if they are willing to listen and think for themselves. With that settled, for us only choice that remains is to either lament about it or have a laugh. We're positive people, so we're looking at the bright side of life, so laugh is a better choice than diving into depths of despair. What concerns me though is how fast people digest feminism and act accordingly to the mainstr…

Mostly live, hah. My husband and I, we're somewhat heavily invested in our daughter's school; organizing things like trips, events and some extra activities for kids, often with local equivalent of something like community center. It does come with a necessity to interact and deal with sometimes strange people, mainly the other parents. Why I kick the hornet's nest like that, one would ask, I suppose. To be honest – for shits and giggles. I'm an evil incarnate troublemaker. But seriously, for on…

When I happen to talk with a feminist, I just don't take it seriously. It's impossible to have a sound discussion proped up with real arguments with them. So I just throw something along the lines of "Hmm, I don't know, I should ask my husband" or "My husband says otherwise" when they start with their crap. Oh boy, the gates of hell open and there is no end to nonsense, which is surprisingly amusing to listen. Even funny sometimes how delusional their perception of the world is sometimes.

According to that feminist nonsense ramblings, if "under" patriarchy is rape, then we just need to be over it. Or have it behind, so it won't be rape if done from behind ;)

Where I live, there are some car enthusiast/hobbyists groups meeting up regularly. I've been on some of such meetings with my husband numerous times. But there are almost exclusively guys hanging around there, doing "manly things" around their cars. If women do happen to appear there, it's because she's with someone as company like I did. And women have pretty much nothing to say hah. Unless if it's about cars no one will listen to women's rambling.

According to the general theory concluded from this post, I am not a woman. I don't clash with other women – I hide behind my husband. I do not "collectively" support neither women or men; quite the opposite – silently, I want to see them burn if they brought something on themselves. Although I do support what I believe is fair and just. My husband apparently isn't a real man too, because he cooperates with a bunch of other guys: at work, although remotely from home, he works almost exclusively …

I'm a sis, bro! But yeah, I just stated what I saw about two days ago and my mind went blank then, with huge "wtf?". Then I did some snooping around the naughty reddit pages and found some of these strange women, "empowered", "released from patriarchal shackles". In general, at this point I am offended as a woman, because what all this feminist movement (or rather ideology/religion) do, is putting a brand on all women – it is especially hurtful for normal, sane ones, their actions and how this t…

Yep, they shouldn't be shown to anyone. As long as these parts are intimate and also perceived as such, perhaps, not everyone wants to see them. And this is also derived from cultural norms (common decency included). And what makes me in particular think my view is the right one? Absolutely nothing!

Rights to women's own bodies is one thing, but decency related to intimacy is the other. And so it happened, female breasts are still perceived as intimate part of female body by alot of women and men as well. I dare to say, even most of them.

I can't say anything about the "unpopular opinion" sub, but I can say something about "off my chest" sub. I've got a ban there for opposing sexualization of children through kid's shows. So if reaction of their mods was this severe for one comment, it implies to me, their mods are actually supporting this – and to some extent, indirectly also pedophilia. Because what's the other reason to attempt to normalize children sexualization (by removing the opposition), other than providing benefit to pe…

Presenting an arguments to the other person in attempt to change their opinion in civil and respectful manner, isn't anything "abusive" or "manipulative". What abusive and manipulative is, is your attitude here and in replies towards other commenters; insinuating, harrassing, convoluting and manipulating, along with baseless insinuations aimed apparently to stir things up – no need to continue this, unless you come back with logically sound arguments that are based on factual data or research. What you've heard about "the evil patriarchy" is bunch of fairytales, myths, legends, stories or just lies that make up modern feminism dogmas. Look with your own eyes at how things are. With governments, leadership positions and such, it's not that women are "opressed" or "denied" getting there; it's because women don't pursue such positions as much as men do. Just like the reason why there's no sunlight at night; it's not because the moon "forces" sun to set. And why feminists brandish "patria…

You are absolutely right about being responsible for kids. Although I dare to chime in and digress a bit about kids being spoiled; I believe, that with proper upbringing in healthy familial environment, teaching them proper morals and ethical ways of following them properly, as well as to respect other people, importance and value of effort and work itself, with all that in place – it is very difficult to spoil a child with materialistic, expensive or otherwise luxurious things. As the kid alrea…

I draw seriously for about three years now, and for a last year, I felt confident enough in all my shyness about it, to show some of my works in quite few artistic communities I joined through discord. They all chased me away for what I am drawing or illustrating. It wasn't even anything indecent, sexual or related to any sort of gore or violence, nor anything inapropriate. To be honest, whole this discussion with Silver Breadfruit is a major clusterfuck without any solid arguments involved and any clear definition of what is what. It's hardly even a discussion. You went into a bit of tunnel vision, Breadfruit couldn't differentiate equality and equity apart. And the truth is in my opinion, that since women got the same rights and opportunities to do everything men can, whole feminist movement became like a tumor, a cancer on the tissue of (already rotten) society,…
