Actually declawing is much more disfiguring. It cuts off up to the first knuckle, causes arthritis later in life, and cause extreme pain when walking. Spaying and neutering is for the good of the animal population. Declawing is not. It doesn't benefit the animal at all.

It's actually a lot less easier. Because a) the holes very rarely are lined up correctly because squirmy baby and b) they use piercing guns, which can't be properly sterilized. No one should ever be pierced by a piercing gun.
