This is a "her" problem. She needs some psychological help. She shouldn't be fighting so much.

Your problem is you're arguing with a woman. Don't do that.

Now I know the good book says, "judge not lest ye be judged", but I'm gonna say it. Your mom sounds like a real jerk.

This is getting to be an unspoken about epidemic. The fact that at 21 it hit you that hard. I'd say keep healing, and court her as you would normally. This might be the situation where honesty is the best policy. Talk to her. If it totally turned her off of you, then don't let it ruin your progress.

Don't marry a foreigner, it rarely works out. And when it goes bad, there are far reaching implications. Get a hobby that puts you out in the world, You're going to have to do uncomfortable stuff to increase your circle. I get it, I am NOT a social person, but I'm forcing my self to be in more social situations. For example, something as simple as getting a few people together to do a Trivia night at a local brewery every week. You have to put your self out there.
/r/MensRights28/02/22 06:35 PM

You should have said "no" to the double date.

Whatever dude, he's trying to get water to people. I could not give a shit less if he only wanted to get clean water to women named Boogalahuda that live on the left bank of the Rukuru river that have a missing pinky toe. People that do charity, it's their time and resources, they can disperse how they please.
/r/MensRights06/12/21 05:56 PM
2

Probably because he's focusing on areas of the world where it's the women's job to get water. I'm not gonna fault him for trying to get clean water to anyone.

/r/MensRights04/12/21 02:39 AM

I represented my self. I was never married to the mom. We had a verbal custody thing, but she didn't like it so she went after a child support order through the county. While she was focused on that, I was filing papers for 100% custody. I didn't get 100% but I almost did because the mom lost her shit to the custody judge. This was when the judge started backing me up. I did this all through the self help counter at the courthouse. I was actually out of work at the time also, I was selling stuff…
/r/MensRights04/12/21 02:36 AM

Guess, I'm just lucky then, I had zero money at the time.
/r/MensRights04/12/21 12:45 AM

I agree, but too many of us don't try very hard to get them. I know, I know, we shouldn't have to "try", but this is the world we live in.
/r/MensRights04/12/21 12:33 AM
77

Not sure if this qualifies, but I'm in California, and almost got full custody of my kid a few years ago, and the female judge at the time actually had MY back for a lot of the proceedings. Ended up with 50/50 (which in reality was closer to 100%). More men should not just assume the women will get their kids.
/r/MensRights03/12/21 04:48 PM
