Yeah, I guess you might have a point. Her friend probably has never bought a drink in her life. Doesn't mean she's broke either. With a $50 cover they could probably have swiped her card. Actually, I think that her friend, the one who planned everything, should have stepped up and simply paid both of their covers while she spoke in private with the bouncer. $100 would have solved the whole problem and saved the night for everyone. If you can't spare $100 you shouldn't be planning an event like this in a rooftop club in Times Square. Course, her friend should have checked the dress code.
