No advice, but my heart aches for you. My parents did this to me when they divorced. It's so harmful for the children as well. I know it's hard, but I hope you all find a way to survive this and reconnect soon.

I don't have a spouse like this, but I do have a parent. Google 'grey rocking'. It's infuriating, but you're probably not going to ever get an apology or convince people she's terrible. Just focus on yourself and your happiness.

I dunno. 2 kids and a divorce at 24 is wild work. OP has made some bad choices and will be sorting that out mentally for a long while. Probably for the best.

Oh, tell those f*kers off. Adults are fair game. You'll honestly probably mess up sometimes too with your kids. You're only human. Thankfully consistency is what matters.

The screenshots don't matter. The story doesn't even really matter. If both parents are saying different things, it's still just confusing and upsetting. When I think of my childhood, the moment that stands out most is my step parent suddenly stopping a fight and saying, "We're not going to fight in front of the kids. We'll talk about this later." That is the safest and most relieved I've ever felt. That person is still married to my parent and is so much healthier than either of them. I conside…

As a child of a terrible divorce, thank you for not stooping to her level. Kid's self image is tied to their parents while young and when they hear bad things about Mom and Dad, they think THEY'RE bad too. If you think it will help, please try to explain this to the mother. She's clearly bitter about the whole thing, but she might not know it's hurting the kids more than you. They're so so young. Poor things. Other than communicating and legal intervention, you can only hold on tight and wait fo…

Surgery implies going under anesthesia. It's a surgery in the same way removing a mole is a surgery. Your friend is a statistical outlier because most men say they experience a 'dull ache' for a few days afterwards (rated a 1 or 2 on the pain scale). The early failure rate is about 0.2-5% depending on the surgeon and technique used. You should not use anecdotal experiences to describe medical procedures without disclosing that, especially when the procedure is performed on 500,000 people a year.

It's a minor outpatient procedure that they don't even put you under for. It heals completely within days and the pain can be managed with over the counter pain meds and an ice pack. Hell, they even let you drive home after. Once testing confirms that there's no more sperm, it's more effective than most birth control methods. I'll let you make all your other wild speculations, but you're not going to sit here spouting incorrect medical information.

If you've never been offered a glass of water that isn't poisoned, you're either hanging around the wrong people or very confused about how water works.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
