Yes that is definitely true. It's like the ultimate destiny/final evolution of every sub. Starts out meaning well, has nuanced conversations, then slowly turns into a defensive circlejerk. Something all sides of the political spectrum share in common. Glad we could be civil. Hope you have a nice day.

Maybe next time lead with this, and not the puerile insults. And frankly, a subreddit like this needs more unpopular opinions to keep it from being an anti-woman circle jerk.

I wrote a pretty well thought out commentary. You could certainly write an intelligent rebuttal to that. But what you wrote was Stfu you probably let your gf fuck other dudes. So yeah, I would say it's pretty clear what's going on here. Not that it matters. This thread is ancient and everyone on this sub is a lost cause anyway.

I'm gonna call you AMC, because you won't stop projecting xD

Usually when people respond so angrily, that means you are correct. Also, I looked at your post history sorted by upvotes and it was incredibly disappointing for such a prolific interneter as yourself.

The title of the sub is essentially "let's laugh at women using their sexual power and having it fail/backfire". In my entire life I've never seen a guy with a healthy sex life volunteer his free time to bitch about the gender imbalanace in sexual politics. Because if you are having a healthy sex life you aren't experiencing or caring about this issue that much. Therefore, the people who are bitching about female sexual empowerment are the ones not getting laid, i.e., incel. Involuntarily celeba…

Amazon has it used for like 5 bucks or on audiobook, or there are PDFs online since it's quite old and I think public domain now, at least the original edition

You absolutely would love Iron John. Robert Bly is the author

Ever read 'Iron John: a Book About Men"? It does a nice job of explaining what is positive masculinity and what's negative, and how to nurture the former, and why men are so lost in today's world. It approaches mens issues from a perspective of "maybe mothers are too protective and men have let them be because they don't want to raise aggressive children". I think the root of the problems lie in how we are raising young men, not all this noise about feminists run wild.

Just my 2 cents as someone who has spent time trying to save incels... You probably are wasting your time doing it online. In person, it can be done. They are, above all, cowards, and will flee when challenged or call in the incel crowd to validate them. That's why they succeed in conquering the web, but fail utterly in meat space. It's why they almost never actually act on their violent fantasies, because the real world has so much more interpersonal influence that is their Kryptonite

Oh it's completely possible to advocate for mens rights in a way that is intelligent and decent. What I'm saying is that this subreddit has clearly been taken over by the Donald loving incel geeks as a place to vent hatred against women for not wanting to have sex with a pasty fat acnes basement dwelling neck beard. You are the company you keep. I realize that this take over may very well have not been what you wanted, but if you are an intelligent and decent person and want to discuss men's rig…

He's around, he's just busy running the deep state. Big day for them today. They are having a big pizza party to celebrate. You should come, you are twinkish enough to titilate some of the older guys.

Oh, so this is the new Incels. I appreciate the honesty. Last time I looked men's rights had only begun to slide into a hateful cesspool.

Alt-right is a dumb term because there is nothing alternative about it. You don't have to get very far right of center before racism, xenophobia, evangelist Christian theocracy, fascism, etc enter the equation. This is a president who employs and retweets white supremacists on the regular. It's just, the right. If you are an old fashioned 'i just hate taxes' conservative, you are the unicorn on the alt right.

And what is a feminist? Any woman you disagree with. I said there is less demand for men's shelters which is a fact any reasonable person can see. Done wasting my time in this cesspool

A safe place to be angry at women... Ok I guess that's the most honest assessment of this place I've ever heard. Hmm.

So we can ignore working people, male or female, they don't need a shelter for purposes of this argument. There are 5 stay at home moms for every stay at home dad according to the most recent data I found. So a lot more women need a DV shelter then men. Yes it is bad there are no men's shelters, there should ideally be about 1 men's shelter for every 5 womens shelters. I'm not going to waste time caring about what random idiots on the internet say about their bad takes on feminism. As soon as yo…

I think what all of you guys are missing is this: traditionally, in a married couple the man would be employed and the woman would not. Thus, a woman wanting to leave an abusive relationship would need assistance such as shelter when she left the relationship until she could begin working and stand on her feet. A man being abused was unlikely to face the same logistical and financial hurdles. Obviously times have changed and there are stay-at-home dad's and working women, so there is a need for …

That's how every non-judicial punishment works, and you always have the right to decline it and request a court-martial. That said, I think it is ridiculous that if you are talking about an accusation of sexual assault that a commander would try and handle it as NJP and not get MP/CID or whatever involved. Having untrained, non-impartial authorities investigating alleged sexual assaults benefits no one.
