I can't change the actions of someone 10 years ago for who for all intents and purposes isn't the same person anymore. I am entirely different and don't act the same at all. Problem is, unless I want to make a public YouTube apology video and draw an enormous amount of attention to myself, there is no way for me to explain my side of the story.

Not really. But you all want to do this to me and think I am evil, then that's what I'll be. I don't give a fuck anymore.

This is not karma. This is disproportionate to the "crime"

I had someone privately DM me my full name and address telling me that people I know and don't know are watching me and are waiting for the right moment to get me back for my supposed crimes of the past. Is this appropriate or acceptable to you? Before you inevitably say that I must have done some really bad shit to have it get to that level, being a man whore does not justify these kind of threats to this level. It is way above and beyond. It's also possible to be so disliked and hated that peo…

I don't disagree with you. I've tried to make it right and apologize to some. I've even thought of making an apology in the group, but worry it will riol people up even more. So not really sure what to do anymore. Sadly I have an addiction to dating etc as I've done this for almost 20 years now. It's hard to stop. Ironically, I am a leftist who has fought and been vocal about women's rights and bodily autonomy, go figure, lol.

I've met more women than I can count over a 20 year period. It happens a lot of the time I go to a restaurant or public place with someone. Not EVERY time, but a lot of the time. I'm a fuck boy and a player, but I know many of these people will not be satisfied or happy until they read my obituary that I commit suicide. I've been embarrassed and shamed more than you might know. I feel like "punishment" here is over the top and has gone too far. I am not against having some consequences, but not …

I do not think everyone who goes through this loses their job, but should someone have their friends, family, or other acquaintances bothered anytime they go to public events with people rushing over to show them the group posts about you? Is this justice? Especially if some of the events are 10+ years in the past and the events were not illegal or heinous behavior?

While some guys do cheat and are scumbags, the punishment outweighs the crime. Someone should not be stocked, harassed, have their livelihood at risk, their mental health completely destroyed to the point of breakdown, or even suicidality which we know has happened. It's just too much. There's warning people about a cheater, and then there is complete and total character assassination where it follows you for your whole life and you have no opportunity to change.

Welcome to hell. I can't even go out in public with my friends and family without the people I go out with being confronted, approached, or bombarded when they use the restroom where I walk away for a minute.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
