I really think these bragging contests only bring up the idea that people need to do that to you. The main thing is, you need to be sure if you gain self esteem like that to ensure you have your bases covered on being perfect. One of the things I have noticed about people who were raised in co-ed schools like me, is that we value opposite gender interaction much less than same sex schools raised people.
