Thinking you have a better point in a discussion about logical deduction because you get dicked down at home is exactly the type of reason that I don't think your understanding my point at all 😂

This is frustrating af I'm not arguing that people arent attracted to looks I'm arguing that women not following your premise or priorities does not make women BaD aT lOgIc. It makes them have different values
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 08:46 PM

Attraction is nebulous. Sorry but it is. Are hot guys more likely to have more women find them hot? Fucking duh. It's still flawed to say that women can't logic like all you smart men because we don't subscribe to your strict interpretation of what's hot or not or prioritize what we find most attractive in a partner. Every response to me has been BuT HoT iS iMpOrTaNt. Yeah. I'm not arguing that. You have to attract someone to be attractive.

The post isn't about casual sex. It's about attraction itself which he tried to boil down to the most common denominators. The problem is thinking that it makes women the idiots for not agreeing with his logic when it's the premise that's weak

Well I agree you have a hard time understanding
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 08:16 PM

If I come across a guy who's too perfectly hot, my attraction level takes a significant dip, unless he has a worthwhile personality, but even then he has some distance to make up I assume egotism, self-importance, a lack of empathy, A lack of accountability, and that a relationship with him would always be significantly insecure I'm using deductive reasoning that is not compatible with the bullshit in the OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 08:04 PM

I'm not out here saying looking hot vs looking like a troll doesn't matter. I'm saying that OP doesn't get to make the premise of attraction itself his definition and then call women idiots for not following it

You're trying to make attraction cold hard rules instead of the nebulous thing it is. You're not going to boil human sexuality down to an easy answer. Looks money and status (for both genders) all make them more beneficial as a possible partner. But is that the limit of attraction? Not even close

Then yeah, the adults in your life failed you and failed to teach you to protect yourself. It is tantamount to neglect to not prepare you at all for the realities of dating and marriage. I'm sorry. I relate to it strongly actually, I was essentially raised to be a good wife and mother someday and was not expected or even tangentially punished for having any personality beyond that. When I spent some time online dating if I had a 10/10 message me it was an immediate defensive feeling. I was looking for a long term loving relationship and had 0 interest in games, being a notch in a bed post, or living my life insecurely wondering if he would wake up someday thinking he could do better. I still gave them a chance ofc. But almost always he was too cocky for my taste, made me feel like I was being hunted like an animal, or blatantly trying to get to sex as quickly as possible. …

You didn't need red pill to self improve and take responsibility for your life. Or to hear that women want that in a man. Glad things are better for you at least
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 07:19 PM

I'm pretty sure if a guy went into a guys only space and said no women at 9 events were attractive all the dudes would be like 'lmao, bunch land whales huh? Just go to a developing country and pick one from there' They don't tell him to try and be attracted to women he's isn't into either
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/26 05:19 PM

An exception would be a failed date or ex, (and you trust her enough to be honest) and asking her what was a turn off. I had a guy do that after I let him know I wasn't up for a second date and I respected the hell outta that.

Hypothetically if her problem is that he spends all his free time with his friends and very little with her at home, how should she fix that on her own? What would you do?

You're really missing the point of my initial comment. u/kongeriket thinks he has to read his partner's mind because she doesn't explicitly solve the problem in the relationship for him and tell him exactly what to do I.e. all the emotional labor. I'm pointing out that you don't have to mind read, the partner already identified and presented the problem. He's just lazy and wants her to fix everything. All the responses to me though latched on to the phrase mind read and ignored everything I said…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 08:10 PM
3

That is a joke. It is obviously clear that making your partner do that much work one sided would be a problem in the relationship. I'm teasing the commentor before me about not being able to pull his own weight in a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 07:53 PM
1

It's not equal for anyone to have to do all the emotional labor in a relationship regardless of gender. Do you disagree with that? You're bringing up an entirely different situation than the one this thread has been about. Which is fine ig, I'll acknowledge there are nightmarishly immature people of both genders
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 07:50 PM
13

The guy in this thread literally just complained about a woman bringing up a problem in the relationship, and then not solving it on her own and just telling him what to do. If you think it's being a martyr to ask a man to talk about a problem and come to a solution together then I pray for any woman that has to deal with you
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 07:39 PM
5

It wouldn't be equal in the other direction either, which you clearly seem to realize, But I guess you just wanted to whine?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 07:27 PM
7

Respectfully, your comment doesn't make sense so I can't really address whatever your point is. I didn't say anyone should anticipate anything. I said you should work to solve problems with your partner through communication
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 06:40 PM
8

This thread is under the premise that one partner has already identified and communicated a specific problem they are having. But then he's complaining that she doesn't also solve the problem on her own. Idk where you're getting that someone is lying about having a problem or not
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 06:35 PM
19

That's why communication is important. If you're partner brings up a problem with you COMMUNICATE and work on a solution together that works for both of you. Don't force your partner to do all of the emotional labor and relationship maintenance on their own. It's exhausting
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 05:25 PM
25

So women have to identify the problem, communicate the problem, figure out how to fix your relationship, communicate how to and then convince you to fix it, and do their part in fixing it? I think I can anticipate what the problem is if you want any help, I hear you can't read minds

I agree that male sexuality is under attack but your support for that claim is not good. Reducing sexualization of women and girls is not an attack on men's sexuality. You can keep liking it as much as you want. It doesn't have to be everywhere for your preference to be valid These are your feelings. Some women complaining that being cold approached is uncomfortable are free to do that, and it IS uncomfortable. Its not fair that men are called creeps for it when they are being respectful though,…

I'm not saying you'll get milk because you asked for it. It's not advice to achieve your goals because I don't care about that goal. I think it's a bad goal. Go ahead and ask for something that doesn't work because most women aren't interested in it and get very little out of it. It's not my life and doesn't affect me. What's so crazy is you think meaningless sex has high standards when it's just shallow standards. Whereas the standards for building a life with someone actually matter and are BY…

I mean, I know it's got to happen but it seems to me like people hanging out having fun, seeing if deeper feelings develop, and going from there. Sure, maybe that happens for women punching up out of their league more often than for men? IDK. But people into casual sex generally know the deal and are choosing non-commitment style intimacy. I only see single men mentioning this subset of women that apparently exists that think casual sex is a pipeline to a stable relationship. I'm just not convin…

I'm convinced it's a male revenge fantasy that the majority of women hooking up are getting their hearts broken because they couldn't lock down a ONS. If you want milk get out there and ask for milk. Lots of people do it and seem happy If you want someone who cares about you as a person, wants to build a life with you, if you want someone to support you and to support in return through the downs and sicknesses and pains of life...well, then try not to call that person a cow would be my advice

Men, having an increased portion of housework are the men who are in relationships, so you're defeating your own point here by using it as a marker of empathy. Men who are succeeding in relationships are taking on more of the housework so to speak

I was sexually harassed in church growing up more than anywhere else. Don't just assume that because you have good intentions. Other guys in your church do too. A lot of women have experiences where men have been manipulative, forceful, or flat out lied just to get access to our bodies. Not only that, but there is ample evidence online in male spaces that there are plenty of men whose primary goal is sex, if not their only goal Whatever video you watched it was either drama for engagement, or ju…

My partner gets paid way less and works a much more physically draining job. My job takes little physical effort and pays much better I do the majority of the chores because it would be a disproportional burden on him, he takes on the dishes, (since I do the cooking and despise dishes). It's still a substantial amount of work and we both feel we are contributing equally this way despite the fact that my hours cleaning are greater than his hours cleaning

You think men behave one way, I think men behave another way, that's about as far as we can take the conversation I think a man being asked out in person is much more likely to say yes just for a chance at sex and hang on longer for the opportunity then the chances of mutually matching and vetting through a dating app. The app also has a multitude of other advantages that are less relevant to this conversation

A guy over text is going to lose interest more quickly if he's just hunting for no strings sex. It also takes away the power dynamic and the thrill of being the one pursued that would keep an in-person approach on the hook until he got what he wanted. Texting and the buffer of being able to immediately drop a match without risking personal contact info is a huge mental relief as well The progressive layers of matching, passing texting vibe check, passing the in person vibe check, passing the tim…

It's particularly the sense of helplessness and the fact that if he decided to take it further, you couldn't do anything to stop him. That's the part that your body does not forget. Men as a group do not deserve to be treated as predators, And you shouldn't have to be terrified of making a woman feel uncomfortable. On the other hand I don't know a single woman who made it to adulthood without an experience of sexual harassment, and a good amount who experienced sexual violence. Gender relations …

because I don't think it's men's fault for the state of the dating landscape as it is. I think the desperation out there right now is a valid reaction to the male loneliness epidemic. That doesn't make me want to take any more risks than I need to though. Finding a lonely guy on an app to be a good girlfriend to does as much good as finding a lonely guy in my neighborhood to be a good girlfriend too, but it did feel less risky to me

That would only work if my messages were also pretty bland and copy paste. Which I put a lot of effort into not doing. I also was usually the first to suggest a date so that I could choose the location and activity. If in person vibes were off that was the end of it too

When I was interested in starting a relationship. I was extremely reluctant to try approaching men, I have absolutely no interest in having a desperate guy say yes just for the chance at sex without any genuine interest in me as a human being. Then let me encourage you to actually make friends with women. The socialization will only benefit you and your ability to connect with your spouse later on in life. It'll increase your chances of actually meeting somebody you'll want to make your wife. And it will help you to internalize the fact that women are just people too. If you admire them for qualities beyond lust then you should be able to value their friendship. If you have a consistent issue where women treat you like trash then you have to start question your taste in women. Most men would sleep around if they could, and yet hypocritically judge women for doing it Expecting acceptance is also not an issue. If you don't accept it then don't be with that person. I don't want to be with someone who slept around a lot either. I call it a preference and date accordingly, instead of dragging an entire gender for it
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 03:39 AM

Men call the marriage material guys betas, not women not the women with any respect for men at least. RPW have just as much an issue with misandrists as RPM does with misogynists after all I think the same proportions of men and women will end up single. But a larger percentage of those women will be by choice than the men's half. I think that a portion of dense women not understanding their league is a problem, but those women were already dense anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/25 12:14 AM

What are you even asking? If unattractive people try and match with attractive people? Yes. It happens
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 09:28 PM

Neither previous partner was in the same league in looks with my current partner. The second had a visible disability. They were men I knew in person and had a bond with before they asked me out. I wasn't less attracted to them or enjoyed sex less with them because they weren't models. Even with my current match I'm not with him because of his looks. "It's not all looks, you still have a chance" is true.

It shows genuine sexual attraction for purely physical features of one another. Human sexuality is much more than that and men taking it as an insult that shallow sex has shallow preferences is wild. My only gripe with this is that red pill men fail to acknowledge that men do the same thing. Fuck around as much as you can until you get someone you don't want to let go of. I chose him for his heart, his warmth, and his passion. Summarizing is worthless. Everyone wants the whole package and everyone wants to be loved

Some of us just genuinely believe the ideology and aren't desperately looking to turn everything into validation or an advantage
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 06:30 AM

I did not pretend that, I could accuse you of pretending that men don't get into relationships just to have a bang maid, or to be taken care of, or purely for prestige. There will always be transactional relationships what's helpful is that they're a 1:1 ratio

Yeah you have to be mostly non threatening in a way that women don't have to worry about in the opposite direction, I still disagree with your semantics though. "Player" implies he somehow fools women into sex, and they have no agency. Men might call that a player women would use less tasteful descriptors. Hoe is more appropriate for both parties

It's a man-hoe. It doesn't take much skill anymore thanks to the apps, just like you'd call a woman a hoe for the exact same thing. You're only interpreting it in the most shallow way possible. To me protecting my man means never making him look bad in front of other people. It means making sure he has good food to eat and knows when I worry about his health. It means being a safe place for him to be vulnerable. It means fiercely defending him when other people disrespect or try and take advantage of him, being loyal, making my affection and desire for him unquestionable, and it means fighting for our relationship if I need …

I don't get your pity party here man. 'should' and 'reality' are not the same. Women should approach because they should feel confident that a man wouldn't say yes just for the faint possibility of sex. That's not reality yet, maybe some day

In the OP he is freaking out about a body count of 2. He's not demonizing the count he's demonizing that she dare chose to have sex without commitment. It is more rare for women to have lots of meaningless sex than for men to, so yes it makes sense to expect women on average to have a lower number. If that's important to you then move on, though I think you'll have a hard time finding a number lower than 2

Reality and Tinder are different. Tinder is for casual hookups that don't care about sexual history, so the attractive women will screw attractive men, and a lot of the attractive men will screw unattractive women too. In reality and in LTR's people mostly stay in their league. And men settle for less ideal traits more easily than women do, but that doesn't make them more variable in what they are attracted to.

Men protect and provide because if they don't then you men may as well not even exsist, it's that simple. What a disgusting thing to say. Men and women should be mutually beneficial to eachother because the world is a cruel shitty place and we NEED eachother in a plethora of ways. We also NEED to give of ourselves, as a matter of our humanity. 34 makes you a man-hoe. And not representative of the 'average'. you're likely a mix of med-high attractiveness and extra points in 'non-threatening' that pushes you into 'eligible for pump and dump' territory
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/25 02:19 PM

I completely agree with you. The set up is completely in the favor of the women who want to hook up since the supply and demand is laughably in their favor. But their actions are 100% in line with the selfish nature of casual sex In a room of 100 men and 100 women just about all 100 men are down for and want casual sex, maybe 40 women are and of those 40, 20 are more curious to try it out but not make a personality out of it. Those 40 have the pick of the men and don't care about their sexual hi…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/25 02:12 PM

He sure is. The difference is that 'settling' is the superior option for women. "Not only am I attracted to you but I trust you and want to build a future with you" is an insult to a man apparently
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/25 02:00 PM

And what does it tell? I picked my words carefully
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/25 01:57 PM

The pool of women having casual sex is much smaller than the pool of men who want to have casual sex. The few women doing it are choosing attractive guys. What's so hard to understand?

The bar is lower for women strictly because men's standards are lower. That's all, and that's not a compliment to women

Maybe yeah, but you're not a victim because you weren't chosen for meaningless sex. The the short end of the genetic stick is my guess The majority of people were not born attractive enough for that, purity culture and consequences of uninhibited sex put that bar way higher and it's still only just starting to come down. The point is that women who do have casual sex are deciding that's what they want to do, and then choosing someone attractive, why wouldn't they? If men had a choice they would …

It's crazy to assume that the woman wanted and could not acquire an LTR with a guy she hooked up with instead of actually doing what she did, which is hooking up. Repeating what everyone else has said. This is toxic insecurity on the side of the guy who imagines that women's 'default' is pristine purity, but she was driven wild by some uncontrollable overwhelming attraction that you fail to arouse in her. /r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 11:08 PM

You still don't get it. This is the kind of skill set that you get better at with experience and intentional awareness, a lot of men and women don't even have a framework to start guessing at it before they get their feet wet with intimacy and experiencing it with more than one person is beneficial to understanding what is normal and what is their partners personal quirks. It's strange to make a post asking why a group people are lying about something, even though it's consistent with their ideology there and by your own admission the majority of them are saying it. Good luck with that Edit: Btw you are drastically downplaying the consequences of STI's in your edit. Lifelong effects are a big deal and due to anatomy women suffer to a greater degree from them. I highly recommend educating yourself more on the subject especially if you intend to take in large numbers of partners
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 09:32 PM

You aren't describing empathy ffs. You give advice like understand anatomy, don't be awkward, be good at reading body language, to know how to give criticism in an extremely vulnerable situation, and you even suggest to just know what she's thinking through her hands (wtf?) This is an insanely high bar for teens/young adults that are exploring sex for the first time. A lot of people can build a relationship without fooling themselves into thinking their partner is perfect and everything will last forever. I get it, you won't risk having your heart broken so you avoid long-term relationships all together. That attraction beats being 'good' when it comes to attracting a partner, (but it's not mutually exclusive). That women and men have different base drives in how they pick partners (and that's ok) and that understanding that can only help. I have things I care more about and making a partner happy is it's own reward in a major way

I think it's very important to use our brains and intentionally become a better society. I think balancing that progress with biological truths is imperative for success. As usual the right answer lies between the extremes. A sterilized robotic ideal vs an animalistic brutal reality

Straight women don't have a choice to avoid the danger so we don't. I also imagine the pool of partners is very different. In my anecdotal experience bi men tend to treat the male attraction part of themselves as a fetish not an integral part of their sexuality and that drastically changes the way the approach and interact with other men (for the worse imo) I just can't think of any advice that would be helpful to you from my perspective

Men and women will generally put up with words and mistakes up to a point, but if your actions don't come through you're going to be tossed out. Idk if it's possible to point to one gender putting up with it more than the other, but I would guess men do simply because I think they have a stronger urge to fix things and see them through to the end

You are reading "painful" as in "devastating" that's not how I'm using it Having to wait too long in a boring line is painful, I'll take care of my business online to avoid it, but if that's not an option I'll do it. The stakes are that low when you can be sure of getting approached
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 06:17 PM

Women approach men they are attracted to because they have something to lose if they do nothing. A man not being approached doesn't mean he is ugly or lazy necessarily, just that women aren't attracted enough to risk being rejected first. Maybe it is because he is ugly but that's not guaranteed either
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 06:15 PM

If rejection wasn't painful there wouldn't be so many men complaining about it. It sucks, idk why you'd pretend it doesn't. I'm also not going for the weird pep talk? Thanks though

/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 06:00 PM

Let me find reasons to agree with you. I'll agree that if there is a guy a woman is already completely into and wants to be with that it would be cowardice not to let him know that. But I think those are the cases women are already approaching in. Another factor, for example my current relationship. I didn't approach in person. I made a dating profile. I added some guys some guys added me, I whittled down my options. Way less stressful than cold approaching. I was in a happy relationship within three months.

What higher rewards? We still get dates with men we want without approaching
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 05:07 PM
10

It's not cowardice. Women still get what we want in a less painful way. What you're asking for is for women to take on more pain with no more benefit and with all of these confounding pressures not to do it. The 'nature' i'm talking about is the human nature of self interest, not something base like lust. You're going to have to make it beneficial for women to approach first, not just whine
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 05:05 PM
4

Even in a more liberated society like we have it is still high reward, low risk just to wait to be approached. Your arguments just aren't strong enough to turn the tide against that kind of self-interest. I do think the trend is heading in that direction and that it's a good thing. Women approaching are a result of a safe and balanced society.

I don't know a guy that is single and happy about it. The only exception being guys coming out of a relationship and not ready for another. I do think the dating field would do a lot of balancing and healing if a relationship with a man was harder to obtain. I just don't think men at large are built that way
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 04:31 PM

Women approaching has been hugely stigmatized most of our history. Women are happier and more patient being single Women are more likely to get offers before they are ready to date either by age or recent singleness A guy will probably say yes just for the chance of getting laid even if he doesn't like the woman approaching him and we know this Fear of rejection absolutely sucks. We can avoid that simply by waiting to be approached first, sorry but it's simple human nature.

Why are there more than four factors?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 02:41 AM
2

Personality tests are unhelpful. There are more than four factors that make up a person
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/25 12:44 AM
3

No, I wouldn't have. I would have laughed that they bothered to do surveys and then throw out the data. You can tell this by the empirical fact that that's exactly what I did There is a place for surveys as a method to gather data, especially for social issues, which is already difficult to quantify
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 11:56 PM
8

Are you okay dude?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 11:53 PM
9

There's tons of different suggestions, both general and specific to reach those ends. Looking better is absolutely one of the most common suggestions, It's an obvious and low effort way to increase desirability
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 11:50 PM
7

To have sex with women, you must become desirable to women. There you go
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 11:45 PM
10

I see it done all the time, you must just not like the answers Edit, oh I see that you changed your comment after I responded
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 11:43 PM

Someone I can pour all my love and support into. Someone I can rely on. Someone to share profound pleasure and fun with. Someone to share the experience of life with long-term, in all its ups and downs.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 11:40 PM
2

Except it wasn't implied at all. Critiquing something isn't endorsing the opposite. That's a fallacy of the inverse. Surveys are a poor source of empirical data but it's something worth discussing if done well. Collecting surveys and then throwing out the data and claiming whatever you want is worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 11:11 PM
4

The fact that you extrapolated something I didn't actually say and then insult me for it is peak asshat
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 10:37 PM

Why wouldn't you bother finding out what red pill ideology is before asking a question that requires basic understanding? That's some impressive laziness
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 08:52 PM

Everyone has a chance of getting cheated on
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 07:44 PM
2

It may not be a factor to you, and that's fine, that's your taste, your suggestions for making every other physical appearance trait maximized is the same gym advice every man with a flaw has. You also do not get to dictate what insecurities other people have. My first point was that there is no fan club for small dicks. It's at best treated as "not a deal-breaker" which is not a flattering bar. There is no body positivity movement equivalent. That really sucks because everyone deserves to feel …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 05:08 PM
2

You missed my point that it's NOT comparable, radical surgical alterations isn't even necessary because if desperation is that strong there are already men that prefer small breasts. Also dick doesn't have to be central to sex for the woman, and the ways that it is central for the man can still be indulged in regardless of size.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 04:30 PM
1

A small dicked man can go to the gym and be physically attractive in other ways, he can learn to communicate and use other methods to make his partner feel amazing. But he can't grow his dick just like I can't grow my tits.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 04:22 PM
1

That's your taste, which I'm not interested in. It's much more important to reconcile an insecurity within yourself than it is to manage it with external validation. External validation is a bucket with a hole in it, it will never be full enough to like yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 04:16 PM

No, my base requirements were met when we first got together. The rest has been growing and discovering the man that I've fallen for in new and profound ways. I'm not looking for a fictional character, I was looking for a man
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 04:08 PM
2

You are correct. I have a small bust size and it's an insecurity, but I don't have to look hard to find a subset of men who love that as a physical feature. There is no comparative club for dick size unless it's a humiliation or cucking kink, never solely for its own merits I don't believe in an empathy gap though. I've seen women cater to men's needs and emotions at a vastly higher rate than the reverse
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 03:30 PM

"Here's what the survey says and we are going to ignore that and wildly inflate the numbers because cheaters are liars" Real great science there 😂

Isn't...that....obvious?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 03:18 PM

Spit out the Kool aid
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 02:50 PM

I would have been ok with it, but I will mention that my current bf told me he refrained from masturbating to my dating profile until after we had intercourse for the first time. I was touched, it had never occurred to me that it could be an expression of respect to refrain and keep things in reality not fantasy. It still isn't a red flag imo but it is a green flag in the other direction
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 02:46 PM
16

I'm going to skip rewriting this in my own words because I would regurgitate 85% of everything you said here. I will add that I was lucky enough to snag a guy that far exceeded my desired traits, especially in physical appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/25 12:20 AM

"Hive mind" makes me roll my eyes. People react in mostly predictable ways that benefit themselves. Men and women alike. Especially since the Internet let's the most popular ways of thinking gain popularity among all groups
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 03:49 AM
12

There are no groups of women. Just like there are no groups of men. Just a whole bunch of individuals making good or bad decisions based on circumstances and outcomes. On a broad scale, it's helpful to understand some trends and statistics if you want to tailor your odds to get what you want, But in the end you will always be dealing with an individual, not a metaphorical group that all think the same way
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 10:07 PM
1

I agree, it's an attack that reinforces a hurtful stereotype.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 09:49 PM
2

Out of these I have only heard "small dick energy" used in real life and I didn't object to it. It was directed towards a guy who was bragging about getting a girl to sleep with him by pretending to be more invested than he really was. It was another guy who said it. I wasn't about to turn social justice warrior against a guy for putting another guy down that deserved some shame.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 09:23 PM

Him wanting to keep his finances private to make sure he isn't loved for his money 👍 Him thinking that a financial commitment to send an automatic monthly gift is an acceptable way to show that he values her personally? 👎and a double 👎👎 for the hypocrisy after 'not wanting to be loved for his money' Still wouldn't be a deal breaker for me though
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 08:10 PM
7

I cant really agree, I have a lot of empathy for the horrendous state of online dating rn and how demoralizing and frustrating it is for men. It's not a turn off to me if a guy can talk about how hard it has been for him and what he wishes he could find, so long as he doesn't have a full blown victims complex over it
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 07:26 PM
1

Mine didn't, I generally always liked my men to be on the beefier rather than fit side. I show a lot of love through cooking and it's nice to have a partner that really enjoys eating. My gym time is me time and I don't feel the need to share it. Besides being physically capable of going on mild to moderate adventures with me and hopefully not on track to an early death by heart attack my bar is very achieavable
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 07:18 PM
1

I don't need your permission for that
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 07:13 PM

So you admit you are a misandrist, that was nice of you
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 07:12 PM
19

I was not raised this way, this feels a lot like OP's fantasy
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 06:54 PM
1

Huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 06:44 PM

The majority of men do not disrespect boundaries and force themselves on people. You clearly are just a misandrist troll though
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 06:43 PM
3

A strong gut feeling can sometimes be a matter of life and death
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 06:14 AM
10

It sounds like you want to date a well trained lobotomy victim
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 06:08 AM

Playing dumb isn't cute
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/25 05:54 AM
1

I think that pretending like more men than not act like they are entitled to sex is misandrist and honestly stupid. In fact I think its actively harmful to push that narrative. Simply wanting to have sex (what the actual majority of men behave like) is NOT something to whine about and get a victim complex over
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/25 05:05 AM
1

I don't think men are actually acting like that. Men wanting to have sex is not a crime, and I don't understand why OP or you see it as them wanting to have sex and you're the obstacle vs them wanting to have sex with you. Ofc there are bastards out there who actually have an entitlement complex, which is why I said it sounds like OP is venting about a specific interaction
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 10:29 PM
1

Op didn't give an acceptable response to frustration, she just assumed what other people were thinking
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 10:05 PM
0

I plead the 5th. Height and good looks were not on my list, but I ended up with a very tall handsome man. I still wouldn't say these reasons are why I'm with him. He absolutely dotes on me, matches and even exceeds my libido, is always striving to be a better man, and has supported me unconditionally with difficult personal struggles. Still, I think it would be hypocritical if I pretended it's not a fact he meets my requirements but is also a 10/10
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 10:51 PM
1

☝️ now times that by a million and that's the trend of American men. And I don't blame you for not caring about a system that hasn't brought you satisfaction or happiness
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 07:10 PM
8

When my bf told me he had explored gay sex I found it hot, adventurous, and open minded. Maybe a bit taboo thanks to a religious upbringing I left behind. I did my best to express that to him but he clearly carries shame over it, and I don't want to hurt him by focusing on it so it hasn't come back up. I'd like to hear more about it someday when he's ready though
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 03:48 PM
3

Sounds like you're venting about a specific interaction. I don't take discussions here that personally. It's true that in online dating most women are scoring above their rating, and I get that that's frustrating for guys who want a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:46 AM
1

And there are plenty of married short guys too, but an insecurity is going to do what an insecurity does 🤷
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 11:16 PM
5

Someone with tact and social understanding who has never gotten a date or felt loved will probably seek out some answers and guidance as to why
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 11:10 PM
1

No, not if they want a relationship. My only advice would be focusing on your other strengths, height is only one factor of attraction. I'm small chested and that's always been a deep insecurity of mine so I get it that that advice can feel empty and unhelpful, but there really isn't any other way that I can see to move forward with a physical attribute you can't change
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 07:46 PM
2

"MEN ONLY WANT POWER AND SEX"
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 06:53 PM
2

Do you not have men in your life that you care about at all? There are real bastards out there who like to hurt others for fun, and there are egomaniacs that think the world revolves around them To paint them with the same brush that includes the men I know who are kind, funny, loving, witty, and admirable is deeply offensive. You don't deserve to be taken seriously
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 06:51 PM
0

I can reject your thesis as misandrist garbage though 🤷
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 06:33 PM
0

I didn't read it at all. The title was offensive enough to work with
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 06:25 PM
5

Both can be true. Men would not be monsters for being attracted to a relationship in which they get to take a leadership and provider role. It's crazy to me men are demonized for being attracted to that relationship while women get a pass for being sugar babies because the deal is too good to pass up
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 06:24 PM
0

I'm not giving the body of text the chance after that title. Holy misandry! Men don't "only want" what you think makes them monsters and they "deserve" basic respect and opportunity and happiness like anyone else geeeeeze
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 06:03 PM
6

I agree. It is foolish to pretend women and children were not seen as a husbands/fathers property and responsibility. It was always seen as a huge moral failing of you mistreated them but we can't pretend that it wasn't the norm just because someone sees it as icky through our modern lense.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 04:44 PM
2

I called her unstable for other reasons and life choices. Like the tendency to leave jobs without a plan over trivial reasons. Not because she hasn't dated in a long time
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 02:23 PM
2

Brutal. Because they are men they don't deserve help outside themselves. That's just cold. I would say someone commiting suicide cares a great deal about their mental health, as they are taking an extreme measure to get relief from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 02:18 PM
1

You are correct. The man was someone she trusted but wasn't in a relationship with or 'chose'
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 02:16 PM
2

She didn't choose him
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 02:14 PM
2

If you were to follow it as if it's a law and not a guideline then you're probably going to have a bad time, but someone doing that already lacks the tact and social understanding to do well anyways
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 02:14 PM
1

Because you made it awkward. Now they are acting awkwardly
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 05:02 AM
6

The only friend I have who has done this is pretty unstable and unwell, largely due to trauma caused by a man
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 04:54 AM
4

It's incredibly self centered and clueless to think that men, who are committing suicide and miserable at unprecedented rates, don't care about their or others mental health. If talk therapy isn't appealing to them and unhelpful to them then it's a bad treatment for men and we should be trying to find better ways for them, not blaming them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 04:49 AM
15

It sounds like you agree with red pill. Alpha fux. Women want to sleep with hot confident men. Beta bux. Women want to build families with stable financially successful men. Women become less sexually desirable for men as they age (more quickly than men do at least) None of this is exaggerated or twisted, just reductive, as many theories are.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 04:33 AM
1

That's the path you're on Asking someone else to live that way when they are happy with "trust but verify" is silly
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 11:05 PM
4

I laughed when I read the OP about how obvious it was, and then I saw how many people are disagreeing with the conclusion. Good post OP, apparently it needed to be said
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 10:31 PM

No one's more attractive than my partner 🥰
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 09:41 PM
2

You can never 100% trust that you will never be cheated on. Life doesn't work that way
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 09:20 PM
7

Suspecting something, and fearing it as a possibility are two different things. I go on a date with a guy and I know the chances are low that he's going to kidnap me, but I take precautions to make sure if that is his plan it can't happen. I'm not calling that guy a kidnapping rapist by making sure we meet in public and my friends know where I am. You can trust and love your partner, and still be afraid that something happened
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 09:11 PM
3

I dont get the connection between what I said and your responses. You know people can lie, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 09:02 PM

Men don't have the benefit of pregnancy to know know that the child is theirs. He is going to dedicate his life to this family and the technology exists. I wouldn't be able to blame him for double-checking. Being asked for a paternity test would hurt, but it's not an unreasonable sacrifice to make for a man that you love and want to be with forever
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 08:58 PM
1

There is an unstated point here that women feel capable of being single mothers and so traits that make a good father are now much less important. It's a subtle difference but I think it is key.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 08:54 PM
1

You really have to learn the difference between an individual level and a societal level, A lot of people were dying in car accidents, you could either call the drivers bad, or you can invent seat belts that work within the framework of the automobile industry. You're creating a discourse about accidents and blame if you were actually interested in a conversation about seat belts, I would be a lot more interested in continuing this conversation
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 08:46 PM

You are again misunderstanding, again. Though rejections are painful and can be traumatizing if especially cruel, what I'm talking about is the insidious and consuming trauma of being unwanted, unfulfilled, and hopeless for extended periods of time, and maybe your entire life. And yes, I'm including the lack of intercourse in that trauma. You are also putting a lot of words into my mouth that I did not say about what women are blamed for or need to do. You want to argue points that I'm not takin…

I appreciate the good faith :) Unfortunately I don't have an easy good solution. I think reversing the perception of men's sexualities as perverse and dirty as the most damaging aspect of current trends might be enough of a shift to set things in the right direction. I think taking women "off the pedestal" a bit so to speak couldn't hurt. Such as more equitable rulings in family courts and divorce proceedings. These aren't simple or quick, but it's a lot easier to break something than to build i…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 08:21 PM

It absolutely is harmful to society, men are a part of society and harm to them at this scale is harm to society. You can deal with your trauma but at least you are hopefully not being blamed for being traumatized in the first place, right? So maybe be a part of helping men facing this harm rather then invalidating and blaming for it
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 08:10 PM
2

You are misunderstanding. A 'community of friends' is exactly where men are being targeted and radicalized. You can look down on men and demonize them for the biological differences that make their sexual frustrations a vulnerability but it would be foolish pretend that that's not A huge factor of men's self-worth and happiness No individual woman is required to marry a guy just so that there are less lonely men, I'll give you that. But you also have to acknowledge that women withdrawing from me…

Choosing a partner is always going to be a trade off of ideals and meeting them where they are, and looking within yourself and truthfully asking if this is someone you can be with in sickness and in health, in prosperity and misfortune. If you are just taking what comes your way, then yeah, you're in for a bad time. If your priorities are flawed from the beginning, you're going to have a bad time. If you'll only take a man who fits an unreasonable ideal, you're going to have a bad time. Meeknes…

Most women don't disagree with redpill tenets like being tall and having money is attractive. They disagree with misogynistic conclusions that redpill men come up with individually. They will also automatically disregard redpill over the trope that redpill men hate women unreservedly, without bothering to examine the tenets. Can't really blame them for that
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/25 05:55 PM
1

"more selective" yes. Humans and most animals work that way, women's selectivity strengthens the species. But the trend going on now? No. Hordes of sexually frustrated and disenfranchised men with no families and no investment in their communities is NOT a good thing.
