Yes but if you have a known broken system why would you put in place something that is ripe for abuse. I never said it wasn't possible or shouldn't he done. I said everyone here is oversimplifying how easy this is to implement. They act like writing a law that says "If you falsely accused you will go to jail" is all it takes.

Your acting like innocent people don't go to jail and also that people don't get sued to death.

When all you have to do is convince a jury. Very easily. It's called circumstantial evidence.

I think you are greatly underestimating how this would be abused if made common place if enacted. Woman is raped, accuses man, he hires the best lawyer available and countersues claiming false accusations. Now she has to be able to afford to fight the countersuit to be able to get him persecuted.

How many people rape and don't get convicted?
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/22 06:25 PM
-79

As I've said in a few other messages. Circumstantial evidence is enough to get someone jail time. A woman texting her friend "I hate this guy, he has something bad coming his way, he will pay". Shouldn't be enough to put an accuser in jail.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/22 06:07 PM

Irrefutable evidence isn't necessarily in other areas of law. Circumstantial evidence is enough to convict people. So you would have to establish with this law that it doesn't conform in the same way to many other areas of law. I didn't say it wasn't possible bur people way oversimply how easy is to implement a law like this properly. Quite honestly, I don't trust the politicians to do such a feat.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/22 06:05 PM
-1

Again I didn't say it wasn't possible. I just said you have to make the law crisp. In other areas circumstantial evidence is enough to convict someone of a crime. I wouldn't want that to happen earlier as I think the fallout would be worse than what it is trying to fix.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/22 06:02 PM
-11

Their point is punish false accusers. I think that is immensely more complicated than that.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/22 05:56 PM
-23

I think you are oversimplifying it. A girl has text messages saying "I hate him. I hope something bad happens to him. He is gonna get what he deserves" Guy then rapes girl in a He said/ she saidnand his defense uses that text as the basis to put her in jail. It's all circumstantial evidence but either you have to specifically make the law say circumstantial evidence isn't enough or you are going to have women convicted who can't prove their truth.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/22 05:36 PM
-43

Good luck writing that difference into law.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/08/22 05:24 PM
-104

The issue with that is how you distinguish between falsely accused and simply not enough evidence to prove. I think the fallout of this is people who legitimately were raped won't come forward as they will worry the tides will be turned on them and they get sent to jail.

I just don't agree that 20 real rape victims not getting justice or even being persecuted because they couldn't prove the rape happened is a better scenario than 1 false victim getting accused. That isn't an overall net positive for society. It 100% sucks for the falsely accused person and I am open to better ideas but punishing 20 to save the 1 doesn't work for me. Edit: Edit think about it with a different crime. Let 20 murderers walk free or convict one person falsely. Neither option is good …
/r/PussyPassDenied06/10/20 04:06 PM

Not what I said at all. I don't want 20 real rape victims to be silenced/fear the repricussions for 1 actual false accusation. I think the number of accusers that is actually false is very much overshadowed by real allegations. I think punishing false allegations has a much greater potential to punish real rape victims depending on how the law wqs written. I basically think there is a difference between I couldn't prove it in the eyes of the law and I maliciously went out of my way to make false…

While I understand your sentiment the issue I have is rape is many times he said/ she said with little to no other evidence. Those ones are tough situations and I worry a "punish the fake accusers" would end up punishing or silencing more real rape victims than preventing false accusers. This is also a generic statement and not a comment on the specific case OP mentioned. If there is such a thing as "maliciously false" then I would be for some sort of extra punishment (not sure how you would def…

"My dream world" is a rich statement to say. I never said what I wanted or if anything was good or bad. I said Robots will do most if not all procurement of resources and production of goods in the very near future.
/r/PussyPassDenied25/09/20 05:33 PM

You keep describing today as if this standard will be there long term. Long term most of not all manufacturing and most of if not all manual labor will be done by robots. Maybe initially men will build the first phase of them bur as time goes by they won't. I am making an argument for the next 100 years going forward. Not arguing what happens in 2020.

Someone said the engineering field is 10 percent female. I said the margin is not that for current engineers entering the field today. The website I posted backs that up. About 20% are female entering the field. That number will continue to rise as the next generation goes to college. If you can't recognize a trend that is on you.
/r/PussyPassDenied25/09/20 01:25 PM

No we really aren't. Long term neither gender will "Need" the other. We will have artificial sperm and and artificial wombs. Robots will mine/produce all material components. The building of Robots is way more genderless that today.
/r/PussyPassDenied25/09/20 12:05 PM
1

Men typically mine metal/ore in 2020. Long term most of not all manual labor jobs will be done by robots. Many of the jobs technically could be done today it just isn't economically feasible at this time. It's not because it couldn't be done.

Programming can be done in a nice cooshy AC office. Maintenance can be done by men an women. Eventually robots with "AI" will be able to go out on their own, find the ore, dig the ore, and bring it back to the refinery. You will need a skeleton crew at best to do those jobs.
/r/PussyPassDenied24/09/20 10:17 PM

Engineering is an intellectual position not a manual labor position. There aren't any inherent advantages given to men or women when using the mind.

I don't agree that perks that "make up" for other inequalities should be accepted. We should be trying to bring equality across the board entirely. Negatives go up and positives go down. That is equality.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/20 10:16 AM
1

I never said negatives shouldn't he eliminated. Quite they opposite. We should always strive for equality. What I am saying is that all the positives need to go away as well. Let's take Chivalry as an example. Let's say in the future we get to a point where all men/women are equal (pay, societal views, etc) but Chivalry still exists. That is unfair to men because women are getting positives/perks than men are not purely because they aren't men.

13

I mean had you heard of her b4? Sound like genius marketing to me.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/20 09:26 AM

It's wrong to think equality is eliminating negatives. Because if your particular group has a positive, other groups don't. Also race is a very real thing in society. If it wasn't then Black Lives Matter wouldn't exist. The easy ones to point to are Affirmative action and organizations like the NAACP whose sole mission is to help/assist black people.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/20 08:55 AM
1

What I was trying to point out is that no one wants to give up any of the positives of their respective classes but wants to eliminate all the negatives. The point was that isn't point us in the direction of actual equality. Women have perks, men have perks, whites have perks, blacks have perks. Every race/creed/gender has some perks. They also have their own unique set of negatives.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/20 04:13 AM
1

Your looking at to wide of a picture and including too many details for what I was saying. As an example. Women have the positives of chivalry. Also generally the positives of being sought after by potential partners. The single portion of single mother is probably a net negative a being a single parent makes it significantly harder in my opinion. It's singular characteristics that can be positives or can be negatives.
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/20 02:41 AM
4

It's not necessary positives of inequality per say. It's that no situation (realistically) is purely a negative when compared to another. They have a positive in one way or another. The specifics of what positive each group of people have varies by race/region/gender (generally).
/r/PussyPassDenied31/07/20 12:15 AM
6

I wasn't making a comparison to the pros and cons and saying which is more or less. I was merely stating not all of them are cons. Also that in 2020 everyone wants to show you their cons and demand they be changed while never admitting the pros they have.

You don't know that do be true. I know there is precedent for posting a sign being enough to count for "telling you". Also morality and legality aren't the same thing and don't always align. Citizens have to be legal, they don't have to be moral (see general views in Businesses).

Stealing isn't something you can post a notice and be Scott free off, same with murder, same with battery. Consent to recording is something you can post a notice for and be covered. There was a restaurant probably 15 years go that won a lawsuit against a celebrity as they filmed her when she sat down to eat. They had a notice on the wall and were covered legally. I will try and find the story when I have time.

Posting a sign on the door may be all that is required for consent. You 100% sure it isn't?

I would do whatever I was legally mandated to do.

Actually I don't. It's purely a matter of personal protection. I'll post a sign on my front door like every business does stating you consent to being recorded when you are in my property.

Nope. I only want to protect myself. Anyone who is unknowingly taping consensual sexual encounters and using it as spank bank material should reconsider their life.

I think your intentions with the footage matter. I would be using it as a matter of personal protection. So do hotels. So do businesses. I think recordings in a public shower could serve a purpose of protecting people. What if someone says they were hurt/beat/robbed in the public shower. Do you think they would love if there was camera footage to help find the assailant?

I don't agree than any of it is pointless. I think something is better than nothing. Solely relying on hope and prayer isn't a great method.

You make it seem like the young kids are all fucked up and society is screwed. Well who raised these kids and turned them into the people they are. The older generation. So if they want to be mad at anyone be mad at themselves first.

I don't agree. Filming without consent is filming without consent. It's either a good thing or a bad thing.

I am going to guess it is the generation older than them. Can't be sure though.

I suggested that in another post but same as you said before. She could just say you raped her another time when a contract wasn't signed. Also it's much more difficult when you have had sex to prove if it was consensual or not. That tends to be the time that gets men screwed.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/07/20 03:05 PM

I wonder who raised that generation to be the people they have become today?
/r/PussyPassDenied03/07/20 02:55 PM

That generally the easy one to disprove. Uhh judge I wasn't in her house or her home or anywhere where she said the allegations happened. The the vast majority of dudes who get screwed are when a chick who consented has a change of heart and calls if rape later on down the road.

More Straw man arguments have entered the chat. I don't think recording consensual sexual encounters for the sole purpose of protecting yourself against false allegations years down the road is the same as government mandated cameras in every home. Also police do tape/record/ tap phone calls all the time. Ever heard a 911 recording before or a sting operation? I will just post a sign on my front door, my car door, my back yard which states I am recording everything. What about Ring cams on front…

Having a recording if you did have sex is a better alibi than having nothing and saying "but, but, but it was consensual". I don't like the option I just don't see any other way.

Glad you are a tearing shit down without adding anything type of person. Technology does with your type of thought process. Guess more men will just be screwed because you don't want to be a part of the solution.

In some states someone in the video has to know they are being recorded. So if it was you and a partner (and you set up the camera) you would be ok. If it was a shower cam (that was recording any and everyone) it would be different. I would ask you then. How should men protect themselves? You were so quick to slam my idea. Why don't you come up with an alternative.

Not every state requires both party agree to it to take a recording. Everyone should check their local state laws before recording anything. I am also so happy you want to give men no tools but hope and prayer to protect themselves.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/07/20 02:00 PM

I disagree it wouldn't do shit. If it was a 1 time thing it nearly impossible to falsely accuse you. Also I did answer your question. I am.all for giving people the tools they need to protect themselves. Hoping/praying a jaded lover doesn't try and screw you years down the road isn't a good method. If you have some super effective and nearly fool proof method I am all ears.

Start off every record session by discussing the last time you had sex. It would be a continual running record and give you dates to verify the recordings. Also rape charges in general don't come from "committed" long term relationships so this would more practically come in to play for 1 nights stands or short term flings.

I'm advocating for a way of protecting yourself against false allegations lobbied against you 1,2,5,10,20 years later. If you have a better way to guarentee your protection I am fully open to it.

I've asked many people this question. How can I protect myself from an ex falsely accusing me of something 1,2,5,10,20 years later? No one seems to have an answer. I don't love the idea of recording it all but I don't have another solution. Maybe having you and her sign an written contract every time you have sex?

Yep. You would be right that out options aren't mutually exclusive (in theory). It just seems more nefarious if you are using it as spank bank without their knowledge. Using it for your protection is just different.

The general sentiment as to "why" that you said makes me uncomfortable. It's not about future enjoyment. It's about safety and protection.

I generally get downvoted for saying this but this is why I advocate recording your consensual sexual encounters as a way of protecting yourself in modern times (permitting it is legal where you live). I don't see any other way to prove it was consensual if she says you raped her after the fact. If it is legal to record where you live, you can never show anyone the tapes and it can never be posted anywhere. This isn't to blackmail anyone it is to keep you safe against false allegations.

Equality is a farce. No one wants to give up any of the positives they have. They are only looking to eliminate the negatives and them be in a superior position.
