Women ask for raises less, negotiate less, and ask for less when taking a job, and all of that alone can make a pay gap in jobs that aren't dominated by women or by men. And most women are underpaid because they're expected to leave the work force in 2-3 years to have children. But why should women sacrifice pay because they want to have kids later?
