I think if I had the means to support a woman and she made me feel wanted and appreciated, maybe I wouldn’t dislike a gold digger. I’m not really disagreeing with you there, either. I think the reason I don’t like gold diggers as a concept is because they are deceiving the man they are partnered with. But yeah it’s kinda like I said before, I probably desire those traits when they are accompanied by desire for me. It’s only bad, in my opinion, when it doesn’t accompany actual love and respect.

I don’t disagree with the title at all, but the body does give me some pause. I don’t actually mind ‘submissive learned helplessness’. I actually like feeling useful to my partner. Her asking me to do things for her actually makes me feel wanted and appreciated! I like feeling ‘needed’ even when it’s clear she could probably do it herself.
