It's not 0%, dipshit. It's low, but not 0%. It's not violating some law of the universe. Is someone who tries to date Timothee Chalamet exclusively more or less likely to get a date with him than someone who wastes time doing something that can't result in dating Timothee?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 02:24 PM
1

You're so stupid. I'm saying that if you want to be with Timothee Chalamet and only Timothee Chalamet, dating people who aren't Timothee Chalamet is a bad use of your time. Not dating those people makes it more likely you'll be with Timothee Chalamet.

What is with you fucking idiots and not responding to my comment? Did your mom drink while she was pregnant?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 02:15 PM

Those are so disanalogous. It'd be more accurate for her to keep getting scammed, then decide to raise her standards of where she's shopping for the phones. That'll decrease the likelihood of her getting scammed.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 01:39 PM
1

Wow, way to not answer. Also, that's irrelevant to both the hypothetical and the actual discussion. What Timothee Chalamet wants is completely irrelevant. Have you forgotten the hypothetical or are you going to answer now?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 01:28 PM
1

I would say that's strictly untrue. If you're raising your standards, it's not because there's a bunch of relationships that you would think are good that you want to remove from the pool. It's to remove relationships you think are bad, or likely to be bad.

Let's imagine I want to make some biscuits. I'm going to randomly throw ingredients in. This is very unlikely to make biscuits. If I cut out any permutation that includes raw sewage, am I now more likely, less likely, or the same likelihood to make biscuits?

You're just staring it, not proving it.

If she would reject anyone else, now she's not wasting time in other relationships. It absolutely does, explain how it doesn't.

It's one of the ways, sure. It was just marked as debate, and I wasn't sure what to debate.

What's the debate supposed to be? Idk how to debate a little story.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 10:02 AM

It depends on what you want. My understanding is that while hooking up is easier as a gay man, long term relationships are more difficult to build.

It increases the likelihood of finding it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/24 05:29 AM

How do you disagree? By pre-selecting for traits you find unacceptable, you increase the likelihood of relationships to work out.

Great response. 10/10. 0 engagement since you know how fucking stupid you are. That's definitely the right approach for you.

It can very easily be explained. We've done it. It's a bunch if hormones. Do you need magic in your relationship otherwise you wouldn't care about them?

Oh crazy. I thought I asked a question about human interaction, but I must've had a stroke, since dipshit over here didn't answer. I'll ask it now, my mistake. You would also say human interaction isn't a need?

Just to be clear, there is, like, a literal thing that is patriarchy, right? Just not the way the person you're responding to means it.

I don't think I know a single man who has no friends or doesn't greatly value their same sex friends just as much, or even more, than their opposite sex friends. That just makes sense, right? How would you meet them? Like, there's not a situation in which you and I would meet and hang out, I don't do the things necessary to making friends. Even if we met, it would end there and you'd have no way of finding out.

Jesus, this might be one of the most pathetic, self-hating comments I've read.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 11:25 AM

Sure does suck that states can't affect the people living under them. If only they could influence their citizens behavior in any way. Oh well.

You're right, and we can broaden this. People really need to talk about things that are important to them very early in relationships. Like, 1st/2nd/3rd date. Then, stick to it. 2 years and no engagement? Sketch. Three years? Leave. Same thing with kids. If you just want to sleep around, that's also an important conversation. Idk why the advice I see for this shit is to wait. I worked with someone who thought you shouldn't talk about marriage and kids until 6 months in. That shit's crazy. You li…

Is that a no? People don't control their emotions? "I don't love you." is a great reason to break up, even if it hurts them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 03:44 PM

It definitely has been, but that's not what I asked.

I'd probably say below average. Lots of women find him very attractive, though. While I agree that a lot of that is from other places, I've seen a lot of women claim he's just physically really attractive. I think I've seen it called "ugly-cute" in reference to other people.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 05:06 AM

Real humans have the ability to understand, handle, and process their emotions. I meant this. The second part makes sense, I have no idea why this part is relevant. What's the contention when they love them? That's just fine. Do you have a problem with it? Yes and yes. What about that makes what I said wrong?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/24 07:55 PM
1

That first part is a non-sequitur, I have no idea what the relevance is. There are more options, but it just gets worse from there. That's the best version for you and the worst version for me. That is the reason animals care about their kids, yeah. It's DNA propagation. Do you remind everyone around you that love is just a chemical reaction useful to our evolution and there's no profundity to it? You're just doing cringe, teenage atheist shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/24 07:43 PM
1

Unlike you, most people are humans. Humans don't pick their emotions out of a menu. The real question is whether it's better to have a dad that abandoned you or to have a dad that doesn't love you. If you don't like that person now, or you feel nothing for them, it's probably better to have nothing to do with them than to lie.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 11:18 AM

Now that you understand how stupid your response was, do you want to go back and try again? Then there's no incentive. If you're going to lose money on something, what's the incentive you're describing?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 11:01 AM
1

You would give me $1000. So, the government would lose money on the deal overall?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 10:47 AM
1

No. I'm asking for an upside that isn't the thing. Give me $1000. Also, of the government is making money off the fees, why the tax break? That's just cutting into that benefit.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 10:40 AM
2

I don't care what the kid wants. I'm not asking from the perspective of the people doing it. If I said you should give me $1000, obviously the upside of me getting $1000 exists. That's not in question. The question is why you should give it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 10:20 AM
3

The upside of a thing can't be the thing. You're just saying it should exist because it should.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 10:10 AM

That's not an upside, you're just restating what the thing is.

That's also bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 07:49 PM

That's fine, you think only the intent matters I think that's a pretty niche way to use the term, and it'll make conversations where you use it that way confusing.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 04:46 PM

I don't think the only negative effects of social media are directed outward. Boys are just more violent than girls, so that's not a surprise. I'm comparing all the negative effects. Warped perceptions of themselves and others, toxic views and ideologies, certain kinds of mental illness and self-harm. Like, it's all of it. I tend to think that girls and young women are getting the worse end of the stick in that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 03:51 PM
1

In my example, say the guy was always genuinely trying to form a relationship. You would say it's not casual sex, regardless of how many times it happens, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 03:47 PM
6

I would say that social media affects girls worse than it affects boys.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 02:30 PM

I agree that you can't learn anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 02:15 PM
3

You didn't answer, you dodged. This is the end of the line, unless you actually answer the question with a yes or a no. It's genuinely funny that you would refuse to admit that you give a shit about who your husband is, just to win some points in an internet argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 01:41 PM
3

Because you know you wouldn't and you see that you've trapped yourself. That's an easy question to answer. You love him for who he is.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 01:31 PM
3

That's not an answer. If your husband started beating you and raping other women, would you still love him? That's a yes or a no.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 01:27 PM
3

Answer my question.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 01:14 PM
2

I don't know what that means. Answer my question.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 01:11 PM
3

I do. If your husband started beating you tomorrow and raped a bunch of women, would you love him? Or, is your love based on the character you ascribe to him, elucidated through his actions?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 01:06 PM
2

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 12:59 PM
2

You don't love your husband for no reason. Your love is already the reward for him behaving well.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 12:56 PM
3

It was on the first date. It says that in the title. Are you disagreeing that going on a bunch of first dates and having sex, with no second dates, wouldn't be called casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 12:32 PM
2

You have to understand what you're saying is that treating people kindly, doing positive things for them, is like training a dog. You have to actually disagree with me. If you're accepting the way I'm defining things, all you're saying is that you treat your husband badly.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 12:30 PM
2

My second comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 12:16 PM
2

I already explained why that's not the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 12:05 PM
2

My first comment. This is so embarrassing for you, lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 11:59 AM
1

I literally told you already.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 11:34 AM
1

Lmao. Just no thoughts in your head at all? I'm not going to have both sides of the debate. Use what little grey matter God gave you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 11:31 AM
2

I don't do anything positive for him because he's a human being not a dog. You're so close. Use your tiny, tiny brain and try to put it together.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 11:26 AM
2

Closer, but not quite. Why do you treat your husband badly because you love him? Why wouldn't you reward the person you love? Why not do positive things because you love him? You have to actually address the way I'm using the word "reward." Otherwise, you're saying you don't do anything positive for him.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 11:19 AM
3

You understand that if you could, you would be saying you don't treat your husband differently, in a positive way, from anyone else? Tha him being your husband is as good as being a stranger to you. I think that's pretty sad. If you could read and didn't mean that, you would disagree with what I was saying substantively. You wouldn't just accept definitions and then say that about your husband. You'd have to disagree with that first.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 10:53 AM
6

Can't read at all, then?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 10:42 AM

I specifically did, then you asked the same question again.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 10:33 AM
7

Can't read at all, then?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 10:27 AM
5

No. Like how I made muffins this morning. My wife is rewarded with muffins for being married to me. I didn't make them to reward her, that's just a way of describing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 10:13 AM
2

It says it in the title. That's casual sex. If you kept having sex on first dates, but never had a second, surely we would call that casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 10:10 AM
4

They get a positive thing out of the behavior. Edit: If anyone is curious, she eventually refuses to admit she cares about who her husband is, as a person.

Can you be more specific about the standards of South Korean women?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 04:34 PM

I like seeing my wife every day. My MIL is very nice. What nagging? I have no idea what this means. I cook most of the dinners and do most of the cleaning. There's no reason a relationship has to be unegalitarian.
