Oh I bet. I was actually supposed to go with My dad to visit Sydney, we found tickets that were once in a lifetime for $400. He ended up canceling them but it wouldn’t have worked out anyway due to my schooling. We went to Barcelona instead but I’d love to visit Sydney. I want to take 2 weeks and check it out for sure. I’m guessing you’re not Sydney?

Oh yea I need one. I’d have to learn two languages l, Castilian(Spanish) and Catalan afterwards. Not something I’d be able to do right away lol. It’ll just be weird going from making what I make in a month here being 1.5x as much as I’d make there , and im making shit wages since I’m a beginning apprentice

Nope it’s not , but as long as I keep working and putting effort I’ll have a damn good chance of getting it . I won’t be kicked from the union unless I really do something retarded, but as long as I keep learning I should be fine, . Worked for my family at least

I’m unioned in a big city. Once I get my card I’ll get $55/hr. I have family and have talked with other plumbers and they can confirm it. I work for a big contractor in one of the strongest union cities. Sure if I lived in bumfuck Kansas I’d make 40k, but I don’t. But I guess you know more, so thanks for telling me what I’ll make.

How easy is it to get good at web developing? After I get my plumbing book here I could always start a company there, or even before that. Just wondering if I’d have to have years of experience to do it.

Nope, here in my US city the unions are strong and majority of trades get 40+ unioned. I’ll make about $55 when I’m done with my apprenticeship If I move to nyc I’ll make $150k+

Oh for sure , I realize that. It’s very similar to my hometown in the balkans( I’m in the US though) in terms of cost of living and feel of the place. Good thing is my trade (plumbing) is pretty much in demand everywhere so if I do move somewhere in a few years I have something I can use for work

All 3 . It’s not really traveling and more moving away, I wouldn’t move now but in 2–5 years , having probably $50k+ saved up and depending on when, a full plumbing license.
