2	A realistic perspective on Vasalgel vs vasectomy You are confusing pregnancy rate with patency rate (whether sperm gets back out), the latter is very high (around 90%). The sperm quality decreases over time though. IVF cost is not trivial, but only a small fraction of what it takes to raise a child.
