Why is it that you believe that video is relevant? Not only is the title a skewed exaggeration, it isn't scientific data or facts, it's basically a talk show.

Turns out it IS backed up by science, unlike your belief of the opposite. (And for some reason you don't believe in evolution? I'm sorry, but how does someone who doesn't accept evolution get to rant about how a science show is unscientific?) For the vast majority of people, science that doesn't agree with their current view is rendered invalid in their heads.

Your emotional language is a big contrast to the parts of your message where you seem to advocate objective understanding. Even pushing aside your conspiracy claims, you seem like a brat throwing a tantrum with this post. If you disagree with what he presents as science, then source us scientists/data/studies that provide facts and logical analysis about why he's wrong instead of this childish rant. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying your post has no substance beyond emotional venting.

You don't seem to understand. I'm not here for the manipulation of the weak and superstitious, I'm here to become a stronger and better man. Maybe some people are here for that, but it's not the focus here. Either way, referencing a religious text to show "there isn't much difference between a prostitute and an adulteress in terms of how they sabotage our society and our men" isn't helpful. You are not in a place of weak and superstitious people. You are in a place where we discuss reality based…

Religious texts are tools for the manipulation of the weak and superstitious.

I don't doubt that you're correct. I didn't mean religious influence was the primary reason, but rather religion is employed as a mechanism to exert sociopolitical pressure. It's a certainty that many religious opinions are manipulated by feminized society. The religious angle is just another tool to be leveraged to bolster their influence. edited for clarity

The problem is bolstered by religious influence, as well.

I agree. Part of the feminine programming that happens to men in western culture ties the male's self worth into service of the female. We are raised by women, now. Our whole lives from childhood to adulthood are spent being trained by female authority figures (mom, and the vast majority of teachers). This training results in males being conditioned to please females from the position of a subordinate. Sure, this guy is an extreme case, but he was just following his programming. He's not a think…

I've examined this fairly thoroughly. Of course "work = goodness" is a meme among many cultures, and of course part of the reason it became so is in order for others to benefit from your hard work. Another one we have shoved down our throats is the idea of working for retirement. Work, put in your dues, and contribute more than average to society until you're out of your prime and slowly fade away on your slightly better fixed income than you would have otherwise. I've seen what retirement does …

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard. This one bothers me, or at least the wording of this headline does. What I hope they really meant here is they wish they didn't work so hard for "the man", toiling away for someone else to get a far greater benefit out of you. I see hard work as a good thing. Working your fingers to the bone for a tiny paycheck while making no progress on yourself, on the other hand, is definitely a bad thing.

If you really want an honest answer, you're mostly likely better off refraining from insults, inflammatory language, and prejudgments. Different guys are here for different reasons. I'm here because I like to try to take an objective approach to analyzing and adjusting my life (health, relationships, etc.) and this sub has great information and discussions I can utilize to that end. I was talking about individual amoral actions, not universally viewing all behavior as amoral.
/r/TheRedPill23/07/16 07:02 AM

That's the issue with the amorality excuse approach - it ends up throwing all moral judgements out of the window. That is true if you are looking at everything from a completely amoral approach, yes. That is the perspective/behavior of a sociopath, and I didn't realize you were talking about that. I was referring specifically about the morality of the action of sleeping with someone who happened to be in a relationship. I consider that action to be completely neutral (amoral) in itself, as you a…

I understand your point, and I agree anyone who is not an idiot should see it coming and avoid it. I don't agree that the beta backlash would be equally amoral. Hurting someone and having sex with someone are morally and legally on completely different levels.

Edit Since no one seems to get it, I was referring to individual actions that are morally neutral, not universally calling all behavior amoral. Didn't realize Overkillengine meant claiming ALL their actions are amoral. Yup. If one wants to claim their actions are amoral, then so are the consequences. That doesn't make sense. You just might be over your ex, but you're obviously not over the trauma. You were born in a generation where men are raised by women. One of the consequences of this is that most men put too much stock in the women in their lives. I agree. I also think a big part of JonMan219's challenge is the value he's assigning women combined with the low value he's assigning himself. He's refers to women in a very negative way, and then he talks about having threatened self-harm over women, indicating their value is higher than his own. Caring too much about them and not enough about himself is bad, and having such a low view of them while having an even worse one about himself is basically worst case scenario. That will kill your chances with the vast majority of women. You've got to make your outlook positive, or the conflict between the negativity they see and your positive facade subconsciously makes them want to run. If only for yourself, you need to garner more positive views/feelings.
/r/TheRedPill27/06/16 10:25 PM

You're not correct in feeling that way. Hating women due to your perception of their nature is a weakness. When you're trying to talk with women and one of those negative thoughts crosses your mind, whether or not you realize it, it shows on your face in some way. The conflict between that and the positive vibes you need to be putting off to attract women automatically raises red flags for them, and makes them close off to you. You see yourself as a helpless victim instead of figuring out what to improve. You see yourself not as master of your own fate, but as subject to the whims of the all-powerful cute ladies. This is a problem. You need to realize you suck at being a man right now, and figure out how to improve. Admitting that fact to yourself is the first step on a long and difficult road of self improvement.

"The truth" can't be wrong, but the RP community only finds and shares the facts, it doesn't have ALL of the facts available. Our knowledge base is certainly incorrect about some things, but can and should be corrected when those flaws are discovered. This is the case with any science. I believe I see what you're saying, that you don't ever stop getting tested. I think you pass every time you don't fail. I also don't see it as a bad thing. She needs to know you're still that man, and there's no way to confirm that without testing you. It seems rough, but that's how nature keeps us at our best. So what will happen to the spirit(me) after the body(my container) dies? I'm not certain whether or not you're trolling here. I've answered as if you were really asking. Man is a spirit, who lives in a body. Your mind tricks you into believing this, but that doesn't make it true. You seem to be talking about consciousness and calling that a spirit. Evidently the definition of red pill woman is supposed to be closer to "traditionally minded woman" instead of the purely fact based definition of red pill men. If your definition is traditionally-minded woman, this strategy is not correct. If your definition of red pill woman is fact based biological behavior, yes, riding the cc is one of the sexual strategies some women use (see: real life)

Can think of a few other situations where blatant directness has occurred too. So yeah. Women can be direct. Just tends to be the oddballs who speak up. It's also more common in social situations where they feel more free to open up because they're not afraid of negative social judgments. A group of women at a bachelorette party in Vegas will be MUCH more direct than they will be hanging out at their local coffee shop.

girls are never this direct, ever. I know for a certainty that this is wrong. I've never had OP's exact line, but I've heard things that were equally direct. It's not common, but it happens.

Women never honor their word though. Generalizations are often useful, but very few statements like this one are accurate. The statement that women will never honor their word crosses into the realm of irrational sexism. Women do honor their words, but just like men, there are circumstances where they will choose not to do so. If you're a 3 in a monogamous LTR with a 3 and a hb10 offers herself you, there's a strong chance you're going to not honor your word to your 3 in that circumstance. The b…

I disagree with the comment that it's "only for the plugged in mind" as well, because it most certainly CAN be sexual and as I argued, it depends on the man and woman involved, the context, the content, etc. When I posted I didn't think I would need to clarify this, but I suppose I should. My point was that Nudity ALWAYS being sexual is for the plugged in mind. Obviously nudity is sexual depending on the context.

Nope, this is obviously different. Clothing was invented by humans. Gender is a physical fact. Your view on nudity being naughty is your acceptance of social norms dictating your outlook. For the vast majority of our existence we were nude constantly. Only once clothing became the norm was nudity considered sexual, and once other social norms that shame sexuality developed, nudity/sexuality/shame all became linked.

Nudity = sexual is only true for the plugged in mind that relies on local social norms to dictate reality for them. Edit I guess I need to clarify: Nudity somehow ALWAYS being sexual in every context is for those who allow their reality to be dictated by social norms.

Hamster explains the censorship. If it's a cheating woman, it must be rationalized and swept under the rug because cheating is bad. Also, she was probably raped when she "cheated". <we're so sorry this happened to you!> If it's a cheating man, he's a horrible person forever and we need trigger warnings on the story. <we're so sorry this happened to you!> Personally, I view either cheater the same. If you sign up for an exclusive relationship and don't abide by that, you're not living up to your …

OP had received opposing answers regarding the original question, and in either case it is important for her to save the messages as proof of her innocence in the event that the friend or anyone else accuses her of wrongdoing.

try to become good friends with a guy first, then eventually reveal romantic interest after he has gotten to know her appealing inner qualities This is called a covert contract pasted from my reply to the wrong post: I don't think that's accurate. Covert contracts are subconsciously expected rewards for good behavior. When you do things expecting those things to be like future credit for later good things, that's a covert contract. I don't think that applies to OP's idea. What OP is talking abou…

They are not nice, they are acting nice because they think that's how they will get into your pants. The guy who sleazes on you in the bar will be more respectful when you reject him because he knows it's a numbers game, and he has more respect for your decision than these guys who follow you around carrying your books and what not, they feel like they're owed something for the 'work' they've put in. This is an astute observation. There's a book called "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Dr. Robert Glover…

I saw in one of your replies that you feel pity for the guy. Maybe you could help him. You might want to consider trying to wingwoman that other girl in there and help both of them out, if you can. It could be an interesting exercise in social engineering for you, and it could improve at least 3 lives :) I'm not certain about the best way of going about it. Something like organizing a study group with the three of you and then have your SO come and "surprise" you with something important you hav…

You can apply OP's circumstances in other contexts. Going anywhere where there isn't an established group dynamic is fairly common (easy to imagine: bars, clubs, whatever social events) and applying the lessons you could learn or have reaffirmed from this post would be useful.

A lesson some people may have taken away: The way you can establish yourself in new contexts is empowering. When you go out to a place where nobody knows you, you create the reality of who you are to new people. While this is an old lesson to many, reaffirming lessons is useful, and reading about how that situation unfolded and how OP's actions defined his place in that social hierarchy was a different perspective on that lesson. New ways of seeing old lessons are important, as they reaffirm tho…

He lucked out, but he also seized his opportunity. Without taking the risk and trying, he would have still ended up in the same boat as before. There is an important lesson to be learned here, or at least to be reaffirmed for those who've already learned it.

We aren't free. Arbitrary laws and heavily restrictive (and enforced) sexist policies are strongly in place, and they're not at all to the benefit of men. We're more free because of our heroes, but we're a long way off from actual freedom.

In many ways, you sound like a great catch for a lot of guys. It's certainly not too late. I believe most men your age would think you seem like perfect LTR potential on paper, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if your inbox is now getting flooded with guys PMing you for a date.

Certainly, I lost respect for Jobs for many reasons, your reason among them. In fact, I think he was a real douchebag and don't like who he seemed to be, but I still have respect for him, his achievements, and many of his methods. The point I was responding to was "having lost all respect" for Musk.

The man has affected the course of humanity in a way >99.999% of people ever will. He's potentially losing more than almost any 1000 of us will ever gain. "Losing all respect" for him is idiotic. Learn from both his successes and his mistakes, but never believe is colossal achievements are somehow less commanding of respect because he wasn't RP enough in his relationships.

It's a big red flag if he's RP, and potentially a red flag if he's not. I don't think discussing the relationship in intimate detail is good. That's not something I would ever do in a LTR, especially with women. I would give vague details about how good our relationship is, and that's it.

Our brains are incredibly complicated, and trying to study them is insanely difficult. Chemical imbalances can be the cause and/or the result. The depression symptoms make it difficult to put the effort in to make the changes necessary to fix things. You just have to summon up the willpower and do it.
