Not that uncommon. I see this thing at work almost everyday and I work in a factory. Most of the time the "ladyes" will leave to the guys almost anything that involves lifting, shoveling, etc. Usualy I pretend not to see anything and finish cleaning my own spot, and carry on with my work.

Just a matter of organizing your mind. Keep it mind what you have learned but don't go into paranoia. At the end of the day analyze your interactions with said person and try and see if any flags were raised during the talk. Take note of them and prepare to react accordingly. There must always be a balance in everything. I love playing video games (from Diablo to StarCraft and the Witcher to Minecraft, Space Engineers and Empyrion) but also you must manage your life. Get a decent base and then you're free to do whatever you want. P.S gaming is like reading. It's a acquired taste that many people won't understand a and will ignore. Better to read a good book or play a good game than waste time on pointless things.

A simple advice, but hard to put in practice. Fuck them all. Does their opinion help you somehow? Does it give you a sense of fulfillment or do you view it as a obligation? If no, then you won't lose anything. And if you really want the experience get a hooker and do her. For the relationship part, get in one, see how it is and then move on. Most advices are good, but until you have burned yourself you won't get it. Sad but true, at least in my case.

If it's just general shit talk among friends/work colleagues just reply in kind. It's the usual bull that keeps the conversation flowing when nobody has any ideas on a subject. If it is somebody outside your social circle that attempts this kind of thing just crush him back. Try and give them the answer they least expect so there won't be a second attempt. Find something you enjoy doing and focus.on that. It doesn't matter if it's music, hiking or watching old cartoons/anime. Just do something that gives you a sense of fulfillment.
