I would argue that most any action stemming from the brain is a combination of nature and nurture. Its difficult (to say the least) to isolate one specific cause

I have this exact theory I have a friend (actual friend not me), both parents are psychologist, been medicated since he was a small child and I would swear it limited his emotional development. It does not allow or arguably force you to understand how to function in society. And if youre unable to function it doesnt allow you to learn how to cope, medication acts as a constant buffer and when the buffer is removed the nature hasnt been changed. Youre solving the symptoms not the problem.

I took a different approach to this question, Im too lazy to post sources but its shown that people with lower levels of education reproduce more. This stat is skewed by countries without formal education obviously but assuming intelligence = a certain degree of intelligence then people who are less "intelligent" reproduce more and evolutionarily it is better to be less formally intelligent

Maybe its my personality but, I would would either just cut her off or use a technique on her. I wouldnt try to gain empowerment because, I think in a certain way it then becomes a competition between who can play the game better. The attention (negative or not) is still some form of stimulus for her. Give her an empty plate rather than a gross one.

I like this answer, always worthwhile to learn new ways to progress or not-progress with women. I considered my goal and the "Im doing ____ right now. Join us/me." is definitely my favourite answer. Provides opportunity to interact and in an offhand way dismisses the finality of boredom. Your boredom is easily solved... by me

I was using it to show her how ridiculous it was. For example you arrive at a party, someone says "Who invited you here?" You reply with "Really? Who invited you?" Youre not justifying the act youre showing how silly it is by turning the tables In future say what you think, passive-aggressive critiques dont do the trick.

Ive noticed the very same. Although its a work in progress Ive distinctly stopped approaching it in a panic with "I only have so much time to impress!" Now that its a mutual discussion rather than just an individual talent show I've really noticed that theres this natural expectation for me to carry the brunt. I honestly think its out of respect or hope of redemption that I dont just pander, I make you acknowledge youre not contributing so you will in future.

Maybe to hop back a bit, where is the idea of them being the consenting gender? I get socially that we have to be the ones to make them desire to have sex with us, biologically we would and do have to prove to be an adequate mate, Im just wondering where this all stems from. What innately makes them have this power? It just seems to be the way it is. Maybe because our desire for sex is greater, or at least more over powering, so they understand it as a power issue?

I just dont understand why for the lock analogy a vagina and lock are paralleled, the whole purpose of a lock is to stay closed unless the right key is introduced, why are you trying to encourage selective sex?
