It must be tough for California cops to deal with... Californians.

It's so strange that people still think this way. Equality is about equality of opportunity not equality of outcome.

There is literally nothing you can say or do on FB that is not simply providing free attention to a girl. Even the "alpha" dudes teasing via FB fall into this trap. Everything you do on FB is chode behavior, period. This is because escalation cannot be performed on FB.

Sounds like you just met a bipolar brat. Trust me, they aren't rare.

Being smart and funny go a long way. I agree with freefacials, you may define yourself as shy and awkward, but the proof is in the pudding so to say and you go out frequently which is what most shy, awkward types fail to do.

Agreed. Presumably many readers of SEDDIT have gained value from reading what other people have produced, ie: seduction guides.

I like a lot of his work but I think that Wong is over-reaching here, and relying on cynicism to sell it. While I agree that if everyone woke up motivated to achieve in life they would get a lot farther, he over-extends these concepts to include all human relationships. This is in keeping with the "display of value" principle in pickup, but it doesn't really relate universally the way he acts like it does.

There is an old saying that if you're the smartest person in the room you need to find a smarter room.

It comes up often in discussion about communication differences between cultures (specifically US vs South American and European cultures).

Relationships do not last forever - look at the divorce numbers, not to mention how many bf/gf relationships do not last - herpes DOES last forever. I don't care how much you love your gf with herpes, the herpes WILL outlast the relationship! You will be broken up with her but still have her herpes, guaranteed. Typically people with STD's do not tell you upfront for this exact reason (shame, fear of rejection), that is why you are always careful and use condoms. However if a woman in honest enou…

Protip: If you are lucky enough to get a warning that a woman has herpes, don't sleep with her! On a positive note, since so many people have hsv-1 and hsv-2 there is a substantial hsv dating community with websites and meetups and such.

References aren't really jokes. They are only funny if someone else gets the reference and even then it's like comedy-by-proxy. Very weak.

I think there is a duality of Asian male stereotypes. On one hand there is the beta/nerd stereotype, on the other there is the stylish/hip stereotype. I think you need to look for inspiration from the latter category which is a fun and very attractive persona.

Except that Han knew Luke. They were warriors together. You do not know the Bf of the random bar girl you are trying to pick up.

Seduction has nothing to do with morality and everything to do with animal reproduction. If you want men to stop being douche's to get women you first have to get women to stop selecting douche's for sex. In humans, like in most species, the female is the choosier gender and therefore the FEMALE defines what behaviors are rewarded.

Morals are made up and culture dependent. Holding yourself to your morals is an arbitrary measure of how "good" you are in your own mind, and frequently people's morals make them less happy. I think JSintra means that we become "better" when we live the lives we WANT to live, not the trumped up fake life that a perfectly "good" and "moral" person would do.

For some of us, that may be gaining enough confidence with women to get into a monogamous LTR with the girl of our dreams. And that dream girl may currently have some ass boyfriend. "What does that have to do with me?"

If your only option is to approach anyway, then it really doesn't matter. You look how you look right at the moment you see some dreamy girl. You can't change how you look in that moment. Maybe you have the perfect clothes at home, maybe you need another 2 weeks at the gym, maybe you didn't shave or do your hair that special way to go to the grocery store. Doesn't matter, only option is to approach anyway. Therefore, looks do not matter.

When I see the "are you attractive" question it seems like people are just automatically loading those self-limiting beliefs. What does it matter if he was attractive? How does that affect you and your game? You can't change how you look by tomorrow, but you could integrate this lesson and approach a woman if you find her attractive.

I have seen articles which come to the conclusion that women choose more "beta"ish men for long-term commitments (ie: marriage and children) and "alpha" men for short relationships/hookups. I have also seen articles which say that womens choice of mate changes toward "alphas" when she is using birth control. Also, there are women, lots of them, that find "alpha"ness completely fucking gross. Finally, all behavior exists on a continuum (Kinsey), so even if we were in a big evolutionary trend towa…

I think that is a very valid point, and in keeping with sexual selection models in evolutionary psychology. Additionally, "aggressive" and "exciting" are not traits that only "assholes" have, many "nice guys" are also aggressive and exciting (and in fact I would say the intended end result of most PUA material is designed for achieving self-actualization, not stereotypical aggressive asshole behavior). One person who always comes to mind for me in Richard Branson who is very aggressive, very exc…

This is pure rationalization only. The reason women like assholes is because assholes are aggressive and exciting. That's it.

I did a similar experiment where I found that 100% of women posting in the escort section of backpages expressed interest in exchanging money for sex. Therefore, all women want to exchange money for sex!

I know guys are just doing what it takes, and that they did not necessarily choose their own reproductive situation and role as males, but it's really depressing to think that such alpha-monkey behavior is necessary.
