I think my main fear is to be ridiculed. I can handle rejection, but being ridiculed completely shatters me. And in my country, public ridicule is a cultural characteristic. Or maybe I just came across awful people in my life and I'm biased, idk.

I think you might've taken her bait. Perhaps it was a test to see if you were only after sex. Yeah, I know. If I wanted to play games, I would spend time on my PC instead of spending it on their bullshit. But it is what it is, it's the cross we have to shoulder.
