Agreed, Miss Universe isn’t pretty enough to act like that.

‘You’re not pretty enough to act like this’ shuts up any woman.

I do much better in person than in apps. It’s the way. You don’t want a girl from an app.

Nobody is responsible for your feelings nor are you for theirs. Nobody can make another feel anything. Accept responsibility for your feelings. Cheating is probably more common now. Just be secure in yourself enough to trust someone else; if you have good resolve, you’ll weed out the bad ones. You can trust a woman by making sure you’re securing enough to withstand the negatives that come with attachment. Money is a shitty one with divorce and child support. There’s no circumstance where you can…

There are men twice my size. Never, ever have I thought I’ve a right to put my hands on them because of that.

I think it kinda depends. I’d argue that men are generally more pragmatic with fashion, but then again, more likely to buy luxury watches (I’m saving up for a Grand Seiko) and sports cars and whatnot. I think men look at fashion more for status symbols and generally won’t buy those things unless they can actually afford it. That’s a generalization, though.

First, it’s spelled ciao* Second, well.. Title IX makes it so that the emotions of a woman are sufficient enough to have a man removed from a college or university, that’s pretty bad. You can attribute that to feminism or at least the thought structures that feminism promotes. I was in the military and saw that women received equal pay for objectively less work. They are inadequate service members in comparison to males. There are quotas in some institutions that prioritizes the hiring of women …

Regarding 'patriarchy,' A lotta men see the concept of patriarchy as more of a tool to diminish or otherwise minimize menstrual achievements or struggles. Further, it does not seem like there's much of a separation between removing the 'patriarchy' and reconfiguring masculinity. Men do not want to conform to the feminist ideal of masculinity. it is simply ineffective and does not contribute towards mens happiness. Most men I have met feel best when they are able to perform, build competence and …

Reading through your article, I can only see that it says there is a pay gap, but not why. You assume it’s discrimination, but it could be because of inferior work. Do you agree that’s a possibility for a situation where a woman is paid less than a man? Second, anecdotes are anecdotes, carry on. This might be hard for you to handle, but.. I actually never mentioned Gaza or the border. Must be some imaginary man. :// Yes, reading literature from one ideology promotes that ideology. Lastly, uhhh, …

There’s no evidence that women are being paid less than men for the same work. You’d have to cite that source. Women get paid less on average compared to men, but that doesn’t mean that they’re being discriminated against. Feminism, by definition, is focused on decreasing societal elements that are seen as unequal for women. Not for men, specifically for women. If it was meant to be for both men and women, why would it be called feminism? Consider that feminists cry about words like “spokesman,”…

A lotta feminists are ideologues. Genuinely, I feel like they perceive an inconvenience to women as being a more significant issue than a violation of men’s rights. When it comes to men’s rights, feminism has no solutions and engaging with them only wastes energy. Seriously, not worth your time if understanding is your goal.
/r/MensRights05/01/25 10:45 PM

Their entire ideology is built on victim hood and allowing men that same social currency would compromise that structure.

I’m not a conservative, either. Feminism doesn’t hold a monopoly on liberal thought, no matter how much they try to bully the world into feeling that way. You can think freely, even if they don’t.

Men don’t owe women anything for their issues, they don’t owe us anything for ours. You cannot artificially create a new dynamic that negates male loneliness in modern times. There’s plenty of ways to navigate this circumstance, but women cannot provide the solution. Have women ever provided any solutions that give you a reason to think they could help with this? Honestly, hoe-flation is on the rise. Women think they have inherent value due to their genitalia for God knows which reason. That’s b…

Until they’re part of the draft, they don’t get our vote. They can send us to war, take our jobs, enjoy the economic benefits that come with wars and we get shit in return. People argue it’s women can have babies, but refuse to put it in writing like they have with our bodies. Women are not entitled to my vote. Nobody is entitled to your vote.

“There is no proportionality between a woman’s emotions and the truth.” I do believe women are disproportionately impacted by this, but women’s tears and feelings don’t equate a true statement.

“Ironically, an election that was supposed to be about women because of the issue of abortion rights may in the end be decided by the votes of young men.” My fault, I thought it was about the American people. Even when they’re trying to be empathetic towards men, they fail. It’s a burden that they’ve gotta even consider men when women can’t abort babies in some parts of the country. Absolutely ridiculous.

That might be true, I really don’t know. In aggregate, though, the later years are definitely a lot more friendly for men than women. It ain’t a coincidence older dudes steal the young chicks.

I think nursing is only seen as being feminine since it is a less complete version of practicing medicine. A doctor completes the needed training to autonomously make health and treatment decisions about another person. A big element of masculinity is completion or mastery. Trades can be relatively mastered, martial arts, things like that. Some things can only be completed formally, then perpetually practiced, like lawyering, medicine and engineering (you’ll never “master”these). Nursing can be …

Honestly, AITA is a shit sub. “Should I feel compelled to take care of someone else’s child with a woman I’m not even remotely with?” Stupid ass question. Mm, it’s debatable. There’s a lot of benefits to enjoy pleasures, but you’ll probably be a lot more stable and effective by avoiding these things. Marcus Aurelius had the extraordinary placement of being Rome’s Emperor, virtually limitless power. Thus, the challenge of avoiding pleasures and instant gratification for those where it is self-evident is important. It’s one thing to avoid temptation when you have little to choose from. Those who had plenty to choose from were once scarce. Now, dopam…

Yeah, I saw this. The message to me is that men prefer to be more productive while women prefer leisure and pleasure. This is self-evident. Marcus Aurelius, who was born a little before the Victorian Era, even called reading novels of fiction a frivolous waste of literacy.

I don’t have any thoughts on it. I’m not hurt by the feelings of women or their perception of men. They’re probably doing it to be more effective individuals, but without consideration for other people (a spouse or family).

I don’t know. Women are socialized to be performative, hence the focus on beauty.
/r/MensRights17/07/24 08:06 PM

Yeah, definitely. I don’t really understand the idea that women are more cooperative. I’ve always had much less issue with ego and cooperation when giving men direction than women. I can just tell them. I don’t have to speak to them like children to keep them from being offended.
/r/MensRights16/07/24 06:55 PM

Men are much better at organizing ourselves than women. That’s why we win wars, build large companies and run game. Women are good at complaining, thus, they’ve organized around complaining. Men don’t this because we value ourselves for more than genitalia.

Honestly, I think education is blown outta proportion. Like, a bit more women are going into college than men and receiving degrees. In what, though? They’re literally getting their money taken by the tens of thousands to study feminist history, sociology and other bullshit disciplines. Go into an engineering school and you’re not going to be worried about women taking over. In fact, they’re known to have high dropout rates because feminism is all fun, until the work comes and you realize you’ve…

/r/MensRights11/06/24 03:28 PM

I’d say men’s rights issues are those that affect men as a whole. Further, while I do enjoy promoting traditional masculine issues, issues (or perceived issues) of masculinity are more cultural and social issues, not necessarily an issue of rights.
/r/MensRights31/05/24 07:35 PM

I don’t know what you’re trying to say, but it’s a lotta slang and shorthand I don’t understand. Nothing wrong with women having high standards if they are doing their part to provide what that standard of man requires.
/r/MensRights17/05/24 02:59 PM
2

Makes sense, when you value heavily the quality of family you’ll raise, your standards would increase to match that. To them, they feel an inherent value in what they as women can offer and seek someone deserving of that. I do the same. I’m not working and studying to give my family away to someone with nothing to lose. Which I’m super down for. I enjoy being competitive and producing if someone appreciates that and wants to help me live a life without worries on the home front, I’m open to it.

No idea, but the other day this chick was going off about not wanting to date a guy shorter than her. She asked everyone if they’d date a girl taller than them. I told her I’d date a girl taller than me, but not one that weighs more than me. There was no rebuttals or disagreement.

Correct me if I’m wrong, protected classes would be things like sex, race and religion (amongst others), but it doesn’t specify further that women are a protected class, it falls under “sex” or “gender” (if you separate the two). Selective service is definitely a good example, as I was. However, being a veteran, I’d really rather not be obligated to fight alongside women in an infantry company (I was a medic in an infantry company). Seems like mixing those would hurt men, but you are correct, th…

I’m not at all doubting your claims. I would like a source for the fines imposed for pay discrimination specifically against women. I didn’t know that existed. Truly abhorrent.

Another commenter stated my point; there are laws which are discriminatory in practice, but don’t explicitly state one sex or another has rights that another doesn’t. Title IX rules are written to apply to all groups equally.

So far as I know, there aren’t laws which specifically in their writing name any sex. There are only laws that in practice are discriminatory. Which sounds like we’re splitting hairs a bit, but it does have a significant distinction whether a government allows for such things. As per Redditor Trillias: “Oklahoma Statutes Title 40. Labor §40-198.1. "It shall be unlawful for any employer within the State of Oklahoma to willfully pay wages to women employees at a rate less than the rate at which he…

There’s a lotta value for women in tearing down the men’s rights movements and these kind of discussions amongst men. I’ve stated flat out that I won’t engage in conversations about how masculinity should be with women. It’s not absolute, but they don’t have the answers if the solution they have is routed in femininity.
/r/MensRights28/04/24 10:55 PM

I’d say no, not really. Gay men are men, but men’s rights is probably a perspective of issues that face men as a group, independent of any other factors. Further, it is separate from cultural perceptions of masculinity. Just gotta look at where men are most disproportionately affected or where our rights are unreasonably restricted. Nevertheless, of course, gay men are welcome participants of men’s rights issues and it wouldn’t be proper if we excluded someone for their sexuality. It’s just that…
